More About Me
Years ago, I was seeking a new hobby so I tried dance (and self-care; work in healthcare). Did Bachata (not BS!), Argentine Tango, ChaCha, Hustle, Meregnue. Yet Salsa has been the only dance I feel a connection to even after all these years. I still feel happy with it's dynamic of energy in the music (always find myself smiling when I hear it) and movement. In the last year, through age and some mild injuries which made me pause for about 18 months (still love listening to the music). I only do Salsa for fun, to relax and enjoy the vibe in social environment so I'd like to see if I can get back into rebuilding my abilities to keep having fun.
I'm Looking For
I would like to find someone who can (or has a strong desire) to feel the joys Salsa can bring. Someone who while interested in getting better, yet primary goal is to enjoy Salsa. Someone who is able to maintain an easy going attitude and be forgiving to themself (and their partner) as they respect it's a growing process. I usually go to places in Manhattan then Brooklyn However, on an occasion, I have gone to Queens to practice. However, Manhattan (or Brooklyn) is easier for me to get to.
