More About Me
Peace~
I have been dancing for about 5 years. Dance is my self-care and is a part of my daily life. I don't go even half a day without thinking about it. I am ready to progress and need to practice partner work more than group classes and socials allow. I am very musical and love having fun with whatever style I dance. I train mostly in salsa (mambo/on2), bachata, and Afro-Cuban. I practice body movement many times per week. I would like to split privates as well as practices until my feet ache. I attend group classes multiple days each week but the one on one work is what I am truly in need of in order to level up. I am open to competing after leveling up more. I am super dedicated and am willing to train hard. I will attend socials and congresses.
I trained in Kizomba for over a year but since I have lived on the East Coast (past 3 years) I have only danced it at congresses and festivals. I want to focus on salsa and bachata but am totally open to improving my Kizomba as well.
I am a very easy going person who loves people and is beyond passionate about dancing.
I'm Looking For
My height does not equal my passion! When I first learned salsa my favorite classmate was 6'3" in heels and we got down! I am looking for someone who is serious, even open to joining the salsa and bachata teams of which I am a member but not a dealbreaker. I want to have fun and improve my overall leading skills not just with patterns but learning technique and advanced musicality so we can tell a story through our movement and not just do crazy spins patterns.
