More About Me
My friend got me to go to an East Coast swing class about two years ago. I thought I wouldn't like it, because I'd never done any kind of partner dancing. But before I knew it, I was hooked! I'm comfortable with East Coast swing, and have been taking Lindy for about a year. I have just started taking Balboa lessons. So swing in various forms is definitely my main focus at the moment. However, I have also dabbled in salsa and bachata and while I've only taken a few weeks of lessons, I really enjoy Latin styles of dance and music as well. I speak Spanish and like to travel in Latin America so delving more into salsa, bachata, and similar dance has a lot of appeal for me.
I'm Looking For
I'd love to find another swing dancer who wants to work on their lindy together and maybe learn balboa or West Coast swing together. As far as Lindy, I've had lots of classes but still figuring it out on the dance floor. Also open to someone who's a beginner salsa dancer like me and would like to learn together.
