More About Me
My dance background is primarily social. I started dancing in country-western clubs in high school and have taken 3 years of ballroom dance within the past 7 years, mainly for performance purposes in the studio's
biannual showcase. My main goal is dancing for sheer pleasure. If something else comes of it, that's ok too.
I'm Looking For
I love country dancing - especially a fast Texas two-step or waltz or even a jitterbug. I also like the funky booty shakin' pieces at intermission.
What I look for in a partner is a man that looks and feels good on the dance floor. He is confident and knows how to hold and lead me without smothering me or being stiff. His movements are graceful, not clumsy or awkward. He maintains a correct, steady rhythym appropriate to the music and glides across the floor, like floating on air. He can spin in either direction at will and really feels the music when he dances.
He must have good moral character and hygiene, be physically fit, and treat me respectfully. I prefer a non-smoker. Light, social drinking is ok, but definitely no drugs or heavy alcohol use.
