More About Me
I began competitive ballroom dancing in graduate school, training in the American styles (smooth and rhythm). I continued training and competing on the collegiate circuit with my partners throughout the 5 years I was in graduate school and absolutely love competitive dancing. I love its challenges, its rewards and how much more athletic it made me. At the time of my graduation, I was a gold smooth dancer and a pre-champ rhythm dancer (point-wise). My last major competition was MIT 2018, where I placed in the Prechamp Rhythm Finals. I have done two small Prechamp rhythm competitions since then (in 2019), but I am now looking for a new partner.
I am currently looking for someone to train with in either Amateur Smooth or Rhythm. We would not have to compete but I would like to train at a competitive level. My training style is based on plenty of repetition and I really enjoy technique-heavy instruction (though I appreciate that good training encompasses more than that). If during the week, my training sessions would have to be in the evenings--I work full-time. Message me if you have questions and/or think we might make a good competitive pair.

Looking for a male partner dedicated to practice, who loves dance and competing. Ideally someone who is willing to grow together and who can offer and receive constructive feedback during training sessions. I really want someone who is genuinely passionate about dancing and enjoys practice. I have always believed that if the passion is genuine, it's easy to commit and success will follow.
