More About Me
I started dancing back in 1989 when I focused more on ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. I was also a competitive baton twirler for many years winning state, regional and national titles and even making finals at the world championships in France. I started ballroom when I first moved to Houston, Tx back in 2010. I taught at major franchised dance studios as well as much smaller independent studios and I found myself more comfortable being an independent dance instructor. I am strongest in American Rhythm and American Smooth, but I also enjoy International Latin. Unfortunately, due to a back injury, I was forced into an early retirement, however, now that I am working hard on recovery, I am confident that I will make a triumphant comeback and with a vengeance. All I need now is a dance partner.
I'm Looking For
I am searching for a dance partner who really wants to practice and practice hard, keeping both our limits in mind. Preferably, someone either my height or shorter as I am only 5’6”, and preferably someone who is more interested in American Rhythm and American Smooth as International Style is still new to me. I need someone who is completely honest with me. Communication is key and essential to ANY type or relationship or partnership. Dance is no different. I would love to find someone who can put differences aside and focus on dance. A sense of humor and mutual respect go a long way.
