More About Me
I danced competitive for 8 years and at university after starting at 14, training every day and reaching the top level in ballroom (standard) in the university circuit, as well as competing in the open circuit with good results. I’m a ballroom lady so would be happy to do a bit of Latin here and there but it’s not my strength :)
After university work took up most of my time but now I’m a bit more settled I’m keen to get back into the swing of things.
I LOVE the dancing, and for me it’s about dancing itself not the craziness of competition. Looking to train a few times per week and in the weekend and take regular private lessons with a top teacher we both like.
So for now I’m looking to practice regularly and if that goes well maybe the occasional competition or show would be fun too.
Location: I'm based in central London and can travel by public transport, but don't have a car. I am 1:74cm so need a tall partner as I have long legs.
I'm Looking For
I’m looking for a friendly, fun partner to practice with a few times each week and take private lessons. You take dancing seriously as you know how much fun it is to improve but you don’t stress. You see dancing as a way to have fun and relax after work and like to build a collaboration and respectful partnership :)
You love ballroom / standard and have experience dancing this at a competitive level with a good grounding of technique. You’re at least 1:80 tall :) I am 173 with long legs so it has to match!
Finally if you’re not as experienced (e.g. you're dancing at intermediate/top intermediate level) but are passionate and excited to give it a go just shoot me a message. I’m sure with training we can get up to speed real quick! I've previously partnered with dance partners just below my levels and am dedicated to make a partnership work.
