More About Me
I am a beginner dancer in my late 20s and have never danced before. I discovered bachata last year through a friend in London and started being regular at learning it after I moved to Glasgow by joining the drop in classes here. I have been learning for almost 7 months now, doing weekly classes but I am not satisfied with the learning curve. I want to enjoy socials so I have been watching some online classes these days at home to learn by breaking down complex moves and try it out. As I have never danced before much, and I have an imposter syndrome, I find it harder to practice them in a dance social. Also, I can't just randomly refer to the videos while dancing to see what I am doing wrong when trying something out!
I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone in Glasgow whom I can meet at-least once a week for about two hours to practice the moves that I learnt at my online course and drop in classes at a slower pace and less stressful environment. We can watch the videos together to refine the movement until I feel confident and then move on to the next one. I am happy to share a coffee and the course content in return :)
