More About Me
Seeking a partner to practice standard. I'm also a classical musician.I've been dancing for several years in various styles and I've taken a lot of private lessons over the years, but never had a competition partner. I'd like to focus now seriously on standard with the goal of competing. I am interested in learning Scandinavian folk dancing (Swedish, esp.) for fun.
I'm Looking For
a patient and fun dance partner willing to help me improve.I am interested in taking classes and private lessons in standard with a partner at or above my level so I can improve. I would like a partner who would be willing to practice with the goal of competition. I dance in the SF Bay area--mostly Emeryville, Oakland, or Danville. In dance heels, I'm 5'9" give or take an inch depending on how high my heels are. My partner should be at least 5'10" up to 6'1" depending on leg length. I have longish legs for my height. I am married and not interested in dating. I'm just looking for a dance partner. I would also like a partner (a different partner) who would like to teach me Swedish folk dancing. I've always wanted to learn just for fun.
