More About Me
While attending college at University of Oregon, I enrolled in a ballroom class freshman year. I took a few workshops with Jim & Jenell Maranto, Bob Powers & Julia Gorchakova, Ron & Carla Montez, Michael Mead & Toni Redpath. I have been hooked ever since I watched what real dancers could do. I was pretty hardcore for two years being on a dance team and a member of the Oregon Ballroom Dance Club. After I moved I only went dancing about once a month instead of every day. Just doing salsa and swing mostly. I joined the USA Dance Seattle Performance team in 2005, so I could get back into the ballroom scene. I would say I am a Silver level dancer in most respects. I am hoping to make it to championship level in a few years down the road.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for a partner for future competitions. USA Dance Quest for the Best or NW Regionals. About 5'6" Slender to athletic, 18 to 29 years old. Just know my skills are mostly in American Style. Not as confident in International Style yet but I have been surrounded by it all year. So if you wanted, I am willing to be trained. You don't have to have any experience to be with me. If you have potential, we will make it happen. I am only expecting to do bronze level for a bit. We can move up depending on how comfortable we are with the syllabus.
