More About Me
I take my dancing quite personal. I have met a few dancers that know how to connect on the dance floor. It's such a shame that they are smokers or that they have so many issues or that they strive to be competitors. I just want to enjoy the person I am dancing with and together romance the music we are dancing to. It's about creating a moment. A moment in time when I enjoy the music so much and the person I am dancing withknows she only wants to be theres in my arms at that particular time and place.
Mesa AZ is the ballroom capital of the USA. That's where I spend my winters from November to May. I enjoy all the venues and live music there. Back in Western NY I enjoy the many blues venues and do swing dancing.
My favorite dances are east coast swing (although I'm pretty good at west coast also) and cha cha (120+bpm) I love to Cha-Cha to Hanzel Martinez's Love Potion No.9 I apologize for my photo Its kind a fuzzy. I can send you another if you really want one.
I've been dancing since I was seven. I took tap for seven years to age 14. I learned to waltz and polka etc over in Germany while in the service when attending all the festivals.
I'm seeking a dance partner that will inspire passion both on and off the dance floor. She will be a fun dancer not a sport dancer. I am a social dancer not one that dances only at dance studios and never sets foot in a night club or other dance venues. I'm not interested in looking like Fred and Ginger
on the dance floor.( Although I have been told I do look and dance like Gene Kelly) I'd rather play with the music and the person I dance with like he did.
I don't mind traveling some distance for some good dancing. I've been
to the Niagara area of Canada where I have friends that live there and Ohio to the Jammin and Boogie Bash there.If you do west coast swing we may meet on the dance floor at some venue. I look forward to hearing from you.
I went to Jamaica one January for a dance week then back to AZ for a few months to spend the rest of winter. This year I will go to the Stardust event in June.

I'm 5'8, so someone that is 5'4 to 5'7" is what would be really kool. Someone who actually dances in heels is an exception. An uninhibited passionate dancing lady.
