More About Me
I have much in my life besides dance, and most of it is very active.....playing with grandchildren, cooking and racquetball with my "Little Brother" Fernando, biking, running, kayaking, gardening, etc......but I\'m a bonafide danceaholic and love almost all forms and participate enthusiastically in several. Modern Dance is my profession, as I teach that whole range of movement possibilities to children, but my current obsession is Argentine Tango, and I\'d principally be interested in finding a partner who is an accomplished dancer who could work with me on the subtleties of this sensual and compelling dance. I have been trying for many years to incorporate a mastery of this dance into the wide repertoire of my capabilities, but it took me that long to realize that it\'s a process of absorption that is not to be rushed.
I'm Looking For
Since I move and act like a much younger woman, I feel I need a man who loves and does dancing as much as I do, and who is in the range of 40-65 years. I\'m flexible and strong, can do many swing dance aerials, cartwheels and splits, but feel that any fantasia, or gymnastic type Tango, would only be done after the rest of the dance becomes thoroughly competent.
I don't think I'm interested in a romantic relationship, but would imagine that a personal attraction would be helpful.
Distance may limit the amount of practice, but I am definitely willing to travel 100 miles or so. I do have my own studio in Santa Barbara so that could be used, and I have tons of Tango music. I hope we find each other!
