More About Me
I stick to lead and follow only. A good follow is the most important/enjoyable part of dancing for me. I have on occasion taken a partner under my wing and helped her learn more about dancing. However, if a girl can follow, that's 90% of what she needs to do. I no longer do exhibitions or competitions because of health problems. Mostly I'm just looking for social dancing, practice and exercise, with maybe some social contact. I have studied with Mike Kiehm in San Diego, and Buddy Schwimmer in LA, 6 years each. I probably have over 10,000 hours on the dance floor in the last 40 years, most of it in the 1900s.

Since I have a gold membership, I strongly encourage you to respond to my emails.I am looking for a dancer who can follow extremely well. I have been told frequently (by dance teachers as well as others) that I have one of the best leads around. I am interested in American style social dancing and hustle. I also do WC swing and salsa, but those aren't main interests. I would consider a talented dancer who has been dancing at least a year, since my goal is primarily social dancing. I'd prefer 5+ years experience in a partner. I'm really looking for someone to dance socially with, maybe take some lessons.. For a talented partner, I'm willing to do some traingin - especially in hustle.
