ME: An IT professional, not a geek - mind you. Physically fit and active; hiking, kayaking, biking, martial arts. Likes Opera, dancing, travel, driving backroads.
Got rhythm, been dancing (freestyle) since I was a kid. Started taking lessons for partnered, social dancing last March 2007. Intermediate level Two in West Coast Swing. Intermediate level Lindy Hop and Argentine Tango-Apilado. Basic Two-Step (country and night club).
Want to learn Balboa and maybe other styles or dances later on.
I'm Looking For
Seeking a good dance partner. Intermediate level or higher to practice and master new or intricate moves. As you probably know, it is difficult to master moves without practice, but difficult to practice without a good, steady regular partner.
Not necessarily aiming to compete, but that is not a bad goal to aim for. Do not need to be corrected or critiqued needlessly all night.
I want to make my partner look good, and look cool myself making her look good. And generally to enjoy and have a great time!
