More About Me
My dance philosophy is that my partner, for one dance or twenty, should have fun. For her to have fun, I must lead well and be personable. If you dance with me, have fun dancing with me, and dance with me again, it does not mean that I have earned the right to ask you out on a date or to monopolize your time. I know that you, like me, are out dancing to have fun.
I am open to competition but I am getting over it as the years go on. My goal is to dance well. I once thought competition encourage that. Now, I have my doubts.
I believe that dances should be like the music you dance to. Waltzes should be graceful and full. West Coast Swing should be sultry and soulful. Country Two Step should be a roller coaster ride. All dances should be a conversation that is well communicated.
