More About Me
I learned to dance Ballroom and Latin American, and took medals as a child, and competed when i was at university, but gave up in my 20s because i could not find a partner. For the last few years I have danced salsa socially, and I took up Ballroom/Latin again about 2 years ago, and have recently started an old-time class (helps with balance and feet and ankles I am told - and judging by the ache by the end of the class it must be true!). I currently have a private lesson once a week and attend practice nights but really would like a regular partner to practise with. I am taking medals (again)with ISTD and am currently training at silver level. I am also competing at social level and came second in waltz and 5th in Cha Cha at the National ISTD Medallist Finals in Blackpool in 2013.
I love dancing and want to become as good as I can be, and I am looking for someone who feels the same way to practise and compete with in other comps. I would like to do all the 10 dances.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for a male partner to practise with, someone who wants to dance to a high level and compete in open couples comps. I would like to find someone who wants to work on technique and style, and for whom dancing is fun even when it goes wrong, and who feels the joy when it goes right!
