More About Me
I'm an old time 'street dancer' and have been dancing for over 60 years....first starting on ice skates. I don't require a hard,push,pull lead...but instead, just a gentle touch.I don't do well with VERY tall people..........too uncomfortable. I can follow almost anyone but don't like to be on display. Dancing is fun and healthy...........and if either of those things stop being so, then I stop.
I'm Looking For
A true dancer does not rely on patterns, but instead listens to the music....of course there are basic moves...but I think it's ok to combine part of this with part of that, as long as it's in time to the music.I like especially to dance to the blues. I'd rather my partner of the moment concentrate on me when dancing with me, than looking around for his next partner....and PLEASE, NO DANCE RAGE! As a common courtesy, let's dance in a slot, mind our manners and have fun!
