More About Me
I have trained in various forms of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop) since I was about 5 years old, though not all consistently up to now. I graduated from college with a minor in dance, training in ballet, jazz, and modern dance. My extracurricular dance activities included competitive ballroom, swing club, and belly dance. My goals are to continue to progress through the amateur competitive levels, and right now I am looking to move from Gold into Novice by the end of the competitive season. I work with coaches in the DC area and would like to practice mostly in DC and Northern Virginia, as I have a full-time job and that would make it easier to get in practice time.
I'm Looking For
I need a ballroom dance partner who can meet with me to take lessons and practice together as well as compete. I want someone who is willing to meet me halfway between where each of us lives, and who is willing to share the cost of private lessons with me. I hope my partner will take practice and competition seriously, but I also want this to be as fun for us both as possible. Mostly I want to dance with someone who loves to dance as much as I do!
