More About Me
I have danced both social 50 + years & competitively 19 years (held 6 Australian titles in the space of 4 years, Modern, O.T.N.V. inc. (Vic.Comonwealth & Australasian Tango titles) danced in the first Worlds Championships held on Australian soil 1964. Floor shows in Sydney Clubs, also have run up to 11 venues per week, now semi-retired. Enjoy the feeling & flow of quality dance. Currently pursuing Argentine Tango, Milonga & Vals but willing to trade YOUR Styles for equal input into mine. I also have many contacts within the Dance Community even if my styles do not suit you & you wish to move on @ any time you will have many face to face contacts to drawer upon. Currently teaching in Sunshine (Melbourne. Australia). Have 2 Halls @ my disposal (Western Suburbs) no financial input required unless we practice @ other dance proprietor's venues, this varies from $5 to $12, one Club povides 2 by 3 hour secessions per month fo a m'ship of $25 yearly. I currently have a Sequence partner who occupies 3 hours per week Tues. Another 3 to 6 hrs. Saturdays / Sundays O,T,,N,V, Modern /L.A.
Ease of movement comes from art not chance as those move easiest who have learnt to dance.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for like person with some experience, drive & an appreciation of quality movement, developing & exploring new choreography & dances in O.T. Sequence, applying "Standard Technique" for the pure enjoyment of same, searching out new venues & groups to mix & mingle with.
A second language would not go astray (asian preferable) but would settle for a person with a practical outlook who would be able to give guidance to students in a "Social Setting" (rather than a studio) for monetary gain, I am currently employed in this field but require a complimentary counterpart.
It would be of some advantage if you are interested in developing Argentine Tango for the purpose of demonstrations & classes in the Western Suburbs (view "Youtube" Arg.Tango) on your computor before making contact as this is the main area I would like to move into.
Failing dance experience a person who is well grounded, hard working, can solo practice her part, light on her feet with an ARTISTIC personality.
