More About Me
I studied standard and latin for eight years to quite a high level in my youth and started over as a mature lady in 2008, since which time I have taken weekly private lessons from excellent coaches who have been training me for open competition.
I am very dedicated and hard working, but also enjoy lessons and training immensely. That said, humour enters all aspects of my life and dancing is no exception.
I am slim, energetic, fit and healthy, and take other exercise. I am universally told that I appear rather younger than I am.
I volunteer at dance competitions, including the Internationals and am therefore very familiar with competitive dancing at world championship level.
I occasionally attend social dances where there is no sequence. For fun I also dance modern jive, (ceroc), and salsa, but my passion is for ballroom dancing.
I have recently been competing on the open circuit at Over 35 Intermediate and pre-champ levels and am ready to dance fully senior I, II, and III, though would continue at the other levels whilst a partnership is developing.
I'm Looking For
A partner who shares my desire to compete. Ideally of a similar standard to myself, but not essential. Again ideally, you would have experience of all ten dances.
I would consider specialising for the right partner.
I would attend socials where the standard of dancing is good, taking the opportunity for extra practice.
You will share my passion for dance and enjoy working hard and improving as a pair, and hopefully, you will also enjoy some humour on the route to our achievements.
In competition you will want to be the best on the floor.
