I will be in Madrid from 9 January 2020 through 3 February 2020 and would like to attend one or more Tango Milongas or Practicas.

I am a beginning to intedrmediate Argentine Tango dancer looking for a partner who is serious about learning and practicing. I am also an advanced Salsa (and Merengue, Cha-cha and Bachata) dancer looking for a regular practice partner to improve my skills and to practice turn patterns before taking them out on the floor.

Although I am over 60 I think I dance at a "younger" level, whatever that means. I work out regularly and have the stamina to dance for three or four hours at a time.

I am an experienced dancer and have been dancing Salsa about fifteen years and regularly teach private lessons. My primary interest is in Argentine Tango and Latin "club style" dancing, but I would also be willing to work with a partner to learn other dances such as Samba, Kizomba, or West Coast Swing.

Although not willing to relocate, I am willing to travel frequently for the right dance partner.

I started dancing when I was 6 years old. I have successfully competed in 10 dance International latin and ballroom styles for over a decade, traveling around Europe and taking coachings with high level dancers. Later on I focused on International Latin style and competed in this style until I moved to US in 2017.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I've been dancing since I was little. I'm a light follow and pick up quickly and have been told twice in the last month at different salsa dances that I'm an artistic dancer (in my mind that means I'm flailing around, but my partners all seem to have fun, so I dunno). I've had instructions in all these areas over the years and really enjoy all of them but get bored easily when it's the same style over and over and over and...so Tango came along about six months before Covid, and, although a bit...okay...REALLY intimidating, I enjoyed everything about it, and it was never boring. My goal is to become a better dance partner at social dances so that whomever my partner is in that moment, he will enjoy his time with me.

I love all types of dance - I got into East Coast Swing, Lindy, Balboa, etc many years ago, but had to take an extended break. I've been doing a lot of work on my physical fitness and am ready to dance again - better than ever (I hope :)). Currently, I'm taking classes in Lindy and East Coast Swing! I love the fun culture of these dances, and I would like to find someone in my area to learn and practice with. That said, I'm open to any style of dance in addition to ECS/Jitterbug/Lindy and want to practice, dance regularly, and improve.

It is difficult to find the right partner from reading only a bio. I am willing to travel to or part way to test out dancing together. Trying out dancing together along with conversation is, I believe, the only way to find the right dance partner. I trained for 14 years in ballet. Shortly after entering the pro division, covid arrived and we were sent home, as most were, to await further instruction. It was during this time that I discovered ballroom and absolutely fell in love with it. I have been teaching and competing in ballroom for 4.5 years, but have not yet found the right partner; someone who is as dedicated to growing into a partnership thru working together and accomplishing common goals.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.
