Started Oct 24. Using my free time to dance (at least 3 times a week). Focus is on international Latin. Had my first comp as student-student in Jun 26.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

Been practicing Latin dances for a little over a year and would like to move from beginner to intermediate/ advanced.

I have 7-8 years of dance experience in ballroom and latin, from Germany, Turkey and The Netherlands. I love dancing with a passion, and am looking for a dance partner in or around Antwerp, Belgium. My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I started dancing with I was a kid, mostly ballet and jazz. I switched to Ballroom because an injury on stag. I started ballroom dance in 2005 when I joined UC Berkeley Ballroom Dance Team. I was on the team for one year and I was training intensively. I did about ten competitions during that period. In 2006, I went to Ballroom Dance Teacher College in San Francisco and I graduated it in 2007. I also started teaching ballroom dance in a studio in 2006. Currently, I am registered through NDCA and USA Dance as an amateur.

Processing a recent loss, taking life one step at a time, not quite back to dating yet, although will soon.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally.
