Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

No background. Purely a beginner.

Artist, music lover, and a believer in keeping things simple and sincere. I spend a lot of my time creating art works, designs, panting and practicing salsa.

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with hustle, west coast swing and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing .Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

Gold level in International Standard and Silver-Gold in Latin. Currently taking lessons to advance.

Willing to drive. Used to dance and getting back into it. Samba was my favorite, then waltz, cha cha, tango, quickstep, jive in that order. Rumba and foxtrot are ok too. Practicing by myself is boring. My body mechanics/level are probably higher than the steps/level that I know since I used to do a lot of other sports and music.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

Have danced socially for over 40 years. Have been a student at most of Brisbane dancing studios.

I am a good follower and pick up new dances quickly.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I started dancing at 13 years old when my mom forcefully dragged me into the studio to take a lesson. Before then I thought I would hate it and never wanted to even try but just 10 minutes into the lesson I fell in love with dancing. For the next few years I was taking 2 lessons a day 5 days a week as well as participating in showcases and competitions. At 16 I ended up quitting dance for about a year but then got back into it at a new studio. I’m currently taking 1-2 lessons a week but I hope to do more soon.

From 1977-87, at studios in Michigan, I competed in ProAm American style events, Bronze and Silver (4 years as a student, 6 years as a pro with my students; see photo) and did many, many showcases. We had weekly training from the top trainers in Michigan and others who were brought in several times a year, on technique and syllabus through Gold. When I moved to the DC area in 1988, I studied international standard and got my amateur status back in 1995. I have kept up my dancing through the years by attending dances and workshops at area studios, and by attending international choreographed ballroom dance weekends (Phase IV-V). I look forward to meeting others with whom I can share my love of dance.

Im originally from Leicester and London england and am British trained dancer with specialty in international latin but also interested in salsa and bachata and social dancing in general. I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

Starting with medals as a child I have danced on and off all of my life. I competed at Amateur level in Australia for 10 years (International Ballroom and Latin) but stopped 4 years ago. Now I live in the US and I miss my dancing! I’m considering a return to competition but want to start with finding a compatible partner to share lesson costs and practice with.
