Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. Happy to try other styles of dance too.

I've danced social and progressive foxtrot and waltz the most. I've danced E Coast Swing, a little rumba, American tango, and bits of others. My last partner posed away a few years ago and I would like to me partners to dance with, take lessons with. I am married but my wife has no interest in dance. She supports my enjoyment of it and would be happy if I found companions to share dance with.

I have always been musical and dance is an extension of that. If dances don't open up again soon, I'll have forgotten everything which is not that bad as I enjoy dance classes. Dancing is a great way to socialize and a terrific way to spend a night out but if I don't keep dancing I lose the steps- both ballroom and Latin. Ballroom tango was my favourite except I don't remember any of it!

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

Newly divorced, semi-retired, active on the modern jive freestyle circuit and competing in the ballroom Sunday League with some success.

I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm a natural mover and my lifelong work in music informs many different kinds of dance, especially Latin. I've danced Salsa for years, competed in Swing during college years, was on a Bachata dance troupe several years back, and have recently discovered Blues Fusion. I'd say my favorite dance style at the present time is Bachata but am always open to learning new sensual dance forms. I'm in it for the connection and joy, not for performing at this time. Would love to find a partner to develop the dance style with, and to have a companion for going to dance in new fun venues.

10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 88, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s. As I mentioned, my wife has dementia. She knows me; she sleeps sometimes 20 hours a day or more and rarely leaves our apartment. She has suggested that I find a new dance partner.

I am 6' tall, 170 lbs. at 10.1 % bodyfat. I love to dance. I have been social dancing for 30 years. My favorite music to dance to is Rockabilly, 50's Rock'n'Roll, and Traditional Country. One of my hobbies was skydiving (1800 jumps ). I have some real stories to tell about that. Also, I was into racing formula cars for 20 years. My passion is weightlifting. I've been ballroom dancing for about 11 years now, first doing pro-am competition, and more recently competing at the amateur level (in International Latin). At the pro-am level, I've competed in the Latin, Rhythm, and American Smooth styles. I did fairly well competitively, especially with Latin and Rhythm, and have won a fair number of scholarships in some of the larger competitions. On the amateur side, I competed at the pre-champ and open levels in Latin. My partner and I won the pre-champ division in our age level, and then made the final in open Latin at the USA Dance national championships in 2010. Prior to ballroom, I spent about 18 years doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I love everything there is about dance--I think it's part of my soul, and who I am. I want to keep growing and improving in this sport/art, but most of all, I want to have fun doing that!

I've been told I'm a talented dancer. I hope that's true (I'm always full of doubts, of course!), but I know I'm a hard worker, very devoted to dancing, and I'll work my butt off getting reading for a competition or performance. I've had coaching from some of the best in the business, and I'll be forever grateful for the insight, support, and advice these wonderful coaches have given me.

Professionally, I'm a scientist, and have my own business doing consulting work in the biotech world. I'm pretty athletic, I run a lot (and used to compete in running too), lift weights, and do yoga regularly. I'm also a pretty serious mountain climber. I've climbed both in the United States and in South America in the Andes, and I hope to climb Mt. McKinley in Alaska in the very near future (it's on my Bucket List!) I also have what I think is a pretty unique hobby--once I summit a mountain, I do a little dance on the top. I think it's quite possible that I hold the world record for a high altitude samba (20,700 feet on Chimborazo in Ecuador). If you know anyone who's done the samba at a higher elevation than that, I don't want to hear about it.

Oh yeah, I also love dogs and have a great Labrador retriever named Newton. He is truly the best dog on the planet.

Dancing is for fun, my styling is very good but I prefer not to compete as it becomes work. There is nothing better than good partner connection.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. My interest is purely in social dancing (classes and events) rather than competitions or performing. If that matches your outlook, I'd love to hear from you.

I really enjoy partner dancing. Since 2020 have gotten a bit rusty, would like to get back to some regular practice sessions and social dances. I have taken some private lessons, but generally go to group classes.. Some of my favorite dances are East Coast Swing, ChaCha, Rumba, waltz, foxtrot (definitely need to get the rust off this one). I have been country dancing, 2-step & line dancing for over 30 years. I have taken a few swing dance lessons. Places I dance at are Montana's, Cowboy Palace, Borderline events, The Ranch, wineries in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Oxnard.

Have been dancing professionally in the past, did win the German Championship in Ballroom Standard as well as German and World Championship in Ballroom Formation Standard. Have done my trainer licenses in 10-dance. I have had a 8y break now and would like to go back to it - so my skills are a bit rusty, but I am fit and have been going to the gym 4-5 times per week. Ideally I would like to return and do Show-Dance or would love to compete in Salsa and prepare to dance Championships internationally.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. Hey, for the purposes of meeting on here you can call me TMT, the natural red-headed firecracker! LOL! OK, if you're still reading, this is a good sign. One of my friends says I'm not funny, but I can really make myself laugh 😁 I try as much as I can in life to always be positive. In dancing I'm serious about learning, easy-going as a partner, and start from the attitude of "Let's have fun dancing together!"

My first foundation in dance is ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied for about 11 years in these dance disciplines as well as a few others. I performed often, and over the years also choreographed my own dance performance numbers. I have some theater training and experience, which I also feel helps me whenever I'm dancing for an audience.

When I was in college I finally got to try partner dancing for the first time and loved it! It was easy for me to pick up. I started with an introduction to Social Ballroom dancing at The Ballroom of Sacramento. Simultaneously, I took classes in East Coast swing there. I would go frequently to the Saturday night dances and I picked up the Hustle just by following a good lead. Some time after that I took lessons in Argentine Tango at Tango By the River in Sacramento. During this time I was also very active going to the Friday night event in Sacramento known as Midtown Stomp. There I picked up Lindy Hop; again without any lessons, just following good leads. I eventually tried West Coast Swing and immediately I was hooked!

I have a strong background in ballroom dancing — I trained and competed professionally for about 10 years, taking part in various championships and also teaching for a year at a dance school. My main focus was International Latin and Standard, but I also enjoyed Salsa and Social Ballroom.

Although I stepped away from dancing about 7 years ago, I deeply miss it. Dance has always been my passion, my way to recharge, and a source of happiness. Now I want to bring this discipline and joy back into my life. My goal is to rebuild my dance form, regain flexibility, and reconnect with the techniques I once mastered.
