10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I'm former professor that is semi-retired but still very active pursuing a lot of interesting endeavors. Dancing is one of these. I also work some as a fitness trainer. I would like to brush up on a lot of my dances and take a few lessons. I'm in excellent physical, emotional and mental shape and use dancing as a means to this end.

Started swing dancing in my teens in home town Yo.O. That started my love of dance.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Growing up in a lower-middle class family of seven, my parents were never able to enroll me in very many extracurricular activities, due to financial constraints. Now, as an adult, I have decided that I would like to live my dream of learning to ballroom dance. So, in August 2010, I enrolled in weekly ballroom dancing classes at a local dance studio in Batesville, AR. In December 2010, my teacher introduced me to the world of social ballroom dancing in a club in Little Rock, AR, where I now go on Friday nights when my daughter's extracurricular high school band schedule permits. Personally, I feel that I pick up dances quite easily. Also, my teacher says I am a very good follower. My favorite dances are the Waltz and Foxtrot, and I would very much like to learn the Viennese Waltz, the Argentine Tango, and the Quick Step. If someone out there will just have a little faith in me, I am very willing to learn. I just need to find the right partner---one who complements me and I, him!

I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. I have performed 4 of these showcases at competitions as well as competed in the Am level in smooth, rhythm, and latin. I have come to love dancing both competitively and socially. Hi, my name is Richard. I would like to find a dance partner that is 60's plus like myself. One that I could also date and maybe turn into a meaningful relationship. I am 6' tall, 170 lbs. at 10.1 % bodyfat. I love to dance. I have been social dancing for 30 years. My favorite music to dance to is Rockabilly, 50's Rock'n'Roll, and Traditional Country.
