Love to dance socially

I love to dance! My favorite dance is West Coast Swing! Have danced freestyle all my life. As for the number of years of experience ballroom/swing dancing that's actually hard to say. Over the years I've followed and learned a lot of dances by just going out dancing. I took a college course in social dancing. Learn a lot...forgot a lot. :) I'm a fast learner who is motivated to have fun while doing the dance right.

I have been dancing socially for 10 years - contra, square, contra waltz, and occasionally other folk dances. I dance about once a month, and attend several weekend events per year with more advanced dances and workshops.

Enjoy ballroom both American and International, hustle, EC & WC swing, country two-step, and salsa. Favorite dances are foxtrot, rumba, bolero, cha cha, NC-2, tango, Viennese waltz, quickstep, country 2-step, hustle, ECS, sala & bachata.

I like to travel (I am in Palm Beach right now) and have been to Asia and Europe several times.

I enjoy swimming and boating, art galleries and watching football games.

I also enjoy reading about a wide variety of subjects including health and medicine), and am curious about a lot of things.

Have been dancing for about 17 years.

I enjoy a lot of activities - but dancing is the best.

I am currently at a beginner bronze level in the Arthur Murray syllabus in American smooth and rhythm. I have competed at several Arthur Murray events including two dance o ramas. I am interested in continuing the American styles along with learning international as well. I would also like to expand my skills to west coast swing, argentine tango, and zouk. I am seeking a partner who would like to compete.

I have zero dance experience, but would love to get started with local swing lessons.

I have always enjoyed dancing. After a long period in which I didn't dance I started again last February. I signed up for a Salsa as well as a Bachata beginners`course. On private parties I also dance Jive, Foxtrott, Rumba, Samba Disco Fox Chachacha. I am a fast learner when it comes to dancing

After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

I’ve been dancing Salsa / Bachata regularly for the past several years, having taken a plethora of lessons. More recently, I've been doing a lot of West Coast Swing. It would be nice to find a partner with similar interests and experience.

I danced a bit of hip hop growing up and was always surrounded by dancers. But it wasnt till 5 years ago that a friend showed me a basic rumba step and i was hooked i have been dancing on and off since then.

I had the privilege of performing this year and loved it. My goal in the next 2 years is to get paid to perform on stage and for that i need to practice. I love fusion partner dance and im particularly drawn to to micro movements of kisomba and the footwork of salsa. Of this list i am most experienced in bachata salsa and kisomba. I would love to set a goal with you and work towards it

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

I love dancing of various kinds - most zouk, salsa, bachata , kizomba and their fusion.

As for me - young spirit, open mind, like travelling, wildlife. Patience, empathy are my strenghts, not only while dancing. Not big talker. Natural teacher. Not happy with sparkling dress. Not ordinary mix of introvert and extrovert.

It is not easy to find somebody who loves hard-work dance training. And without dance partner progress is usually very poor.

I have a very good ability to dance and was introduced to WCS about 4 years ago and am fascinated with it. I am to the point where I am starting to play and interpret the music through the dance. I have lots of style and have put that style on the shelf as I learn the basics. I like to practice something until it's really solid. I have been practicing both follow and lead. I turn well and will be learning spinning. I do not do any dips, but would like to learn. I'm spry, and love, love, love this dance!

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Trained with w/ Jairelbhi Furlong (Google "Evolution Tango") in Dallas till April to Nov 2021. Past training: Boulder CO with Gustavo Naveira & Giselle Anne; 40 hours & 420 hours practice during Fall 2019 including group classes over previous years from them in Boulder, Colorado. Trained in Dallas w/ Jairelbhi Furlong (90%) & Nasrin Barmaki (10%) in 2018 & 2019 for 12 months over two years; over 200 hours of instruction and 300 hours practice time during that time period. Recreational dancing not included. Lessons in West Coast Swing and Hustle under Beata Howe in 2019. More than 20 years dancing: Salsa, West Coast Swing, Two Step (as is judged at a UCWDC event). None of the hours listed above are group classes. Other past instruction is from Mary Ann Nunez and Jeannie Tucker.

I have been dancing for the past 10-years, focusing on latin and west coast swing. I am athletically gifted and have had some private lessons but I still have much to learn. I am Hard working, dedicated, caring, delightful, goal oriented. I am Turning 58, but have Aged reversed to 31 years old currently by implementing strategies of turning back the clock. My Home is in Orlando area, FL, but I am on the beach a lot and may relocate to beach front in Florida in the near future. I visit Fairfax Virginia to see my parents and I travel to various cities frequently. Wherever I am, I work, cook, exercises, and spend a lot of time train/dance in studios, gym and in the house. I love to compete because competitions always give me immediate, mid-term and long-term goals to train and to practice. Goals are one of those things that I rely on to work really hard and to keep focus on. I truly enjoy practicing and social dance too. I get excited about show case, because of the intimacy of the smaller venue and familiarity with everyone at the venue. I can NOT wait for the pandemic be over so we can all go out dance like before. Currently I train at home or at the locations wherever I travel to. I am getting a portable ballet barre, which will make training more complete. Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

Primarily, a dancer of Argentine Tango and seeking a practice partner. I have experience in the social context of dancing in South America, Europe, and throughout the United States. I also have experience in many classes including those designed to train teachers of Argentine Tango. Expertise in a partner is note required, simply that we practice and learn together - from each other even if you are a beginner.

I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater throughout my childhood. I went to theater school. In my mid twenties I started dancing salsa in the clubs in LA and was hooked. I was going dancing at least 3 times a week for a few years. I continued to dance salsa when I could in San Francisco and New York, but not as often. For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. My motivation during recovery from surgery was to dance again. I went to a Salsa festival in October and it was a blast. I am ready!

I love dancing, particularly ballroom, latin and rock n roll. I have regular lessons, which is stimulating and good fun. I also love meeting new people and I find dancing is very sociable and friendly. I also like getting dressed up - I always dance better in a nice dress! I've been dancing on and off for 24 years. I've been actively and passionately dancing again for the last 3 years. I dance most of the American Rhythm and American Smooth dances plus Salsa and a little AT which I'd like to pursue more. I'm a strong lead, high energy and pickup choreography quickly. I think dancing is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

My teacher used to compete in International Ten Dance so that's what I'm learning now, with some other dances (hustle, salsa, swing, etc.) thrown into the mix as well once in a while. I'm doing gold steps in many of the dances, but I feel I would have much more confidence in my dancing if I had a steady dance partner with whom I could take lessons and practice. Though I wish I could be the type of dancer who could dance with anybody, all I really want is to be able to dance well with one person. Competing once in a while could be fun too with the right partner.

country dances when teenager .attended new vogue classes

Ballroom dancing started as a covid hobby and I would like to get better at it. I danced ballet and tap when I was younger and take dance seriously. My ballroom favorites are rumba and east coast swing but I am proficient in many others. I also recently re-started with ballet and tap dancing, mostly to help keep flexible and nimble but also because it is fun and keeps me moving when no partners are available. I compete at the bronze level in local competitions and am strongly motivated to keep getting better.
