I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

I currently take private lessons 3 days a week and attend 3 hours of classes. When available, I also take 3 hour workshops on weekend. Rumba is my favorite style of dance but, I also love American waltz, Foxtrot, Nightclub 2 step, I am just learning West Coast swing, Cha-Cha and American Tango.

Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

I am a strong yet conscientious lead. Strong on technique.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 4 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

I was training in Sport Ballroom Dance in Moldova from 1994 to 1997, with a focus on the Latin program.

During this time, I successfully competed and won several Latin dance competitions.

My native language is Russian, but I have lived in the UK since 2015 and became a British citizen in 2024.

I am fully COVID-19 vaccinated with Pfizer 2 shots.

Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing. At socials I find it very difficult to get a partner for International dances. I am so happy when I get somebody for VW - which is my favorite dance. I have five years of intensive private lessons and some social dancing.

I have a basic grounding in ballroom and Latin and used to compete on the university dance circuit in the Novice category a few years back (predominantly in waltz, quickstep, cha cha, rumba, and jive). I have two years of experience and am looking to get back into dance. I'd love to find a partner to practice with a few times a week, mostly for fun rather than competitions (although I'm not averse to competing if the opportunity presents). I'd be happy to sign up to classes and then practice together outside of them.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

Just one easy-going guy looking for a dance partner, and if a great relationship develops, that would be great, too. I've lived in the Valley ten years and have found a few really good places to dance, but want a regular dance partner. My West Coast, Salsa, Rumba and Night Club two-step all need more practice, and I need a dance partner to make that happen.

Currently I am dancing Pro-Am, I have competed in many competitions ,Ohio star ball I made the Finals International standard Bronze also made finals in silver at Can-Am. I have also recently competed bronze international Latin placing 3rd in the three dance.

Recently back dancing after a couple of years away from London where I couldn't train. I've competed in ballroom and Latin at both university and open competitions at intermediate/advanced level. I've reached finals in quite a few, including winning ex-student intermediate ballroom and placing 3rd in ex-student intermediate Latin at SUDC, and placing 5th in ex-student advanced ballroom at Nottingham Varsity. I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I have been dancing for approx. 15 years and am now professional in Freestyle. Although I am still basic in Latin and Ballroom I would like to become more advanced and start competing. I am a very fast learner and would be willing to put in extra training to match the levels of a new partner.

I'm taking lessons again after 30 years. Back then I took private lessons for a couple of months and group classes also. I enjoy dancing a lot and learning new steps. Now, I only remember a few steps of East Coast Swing, I'm just beyond beginner. I want to learn other ballroom dances also.

I started ballroom dancing in 1989. I started contra dancing in 2005. I’ve also taken some lessons in Argentine Tango, Zydeco, and have done some English Country Dancing.

I danced Latin and ballroom from the age of 3-14 years of age. I reached 3rd gold star in both. I used to compete nationally and am eager to practice and attend regular classes with a partner in order to compete again in the future. But in the shorter term I am happy just to practice and see how things go. I do attend a weekly competition class but have no regular partner.
