I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

I have taken a handful of country swing classes and truly love it, but do not have a consistent partner.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

I am a newer social dancer (lead) looking to build confidence and skills. I take 3-4 dance classes each week, mainly bachata and salsa. I am open to learning/practicing other dances.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I am a professional looking to meet someone who is not into games. I enjoy many things, including: social dancing, ballroom dancing, and other activities. I am not necessarily looking for a long-term relationship, but would be open to one.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I've loved to dance since grade school yet never had any formal lessons till recently; so most of my prior dancing experience is free-form salsa and swing with partners. I’ve taken ballroom lessons for 7 months. I would love a partner I can grow and learn with. I think having a dedicated dance/salsa partner would be better for me than various dancers at various levels.

Looking for someone to enjoy dancing on a social level

I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

I started dancing with a ballroom dancing show company when I was 16 and taught social dance and trained other dancers in the company for about 12 years. I then joined an independent competitive studio and learned how to teach and dance competitively. I worked as an amateur teacher for about 7 years before I stopped due to a move out of the area.

Professional hard worker who has just found West Coast Swing. Country Western is also fun. Favorite music is blues, CW and southern rock like ZZ tops and Doobie Brothers.

I have danced competitively for three years with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team and have competed last in Standard pre-champ and Latin Gold. In addition, I occasionally have done pick-up Smooth on the Silver. Due to job related relocations, I was not able to dance for years, but am now back on the floor.
