Started training in ballroom and social styles when I was hired as a new student teacher at a local dance studio. Began training one on one with head coach at the studio whom I competed and worked professionally with.

I fell in love with American Smooth and

I also LOVE social dancing (salsa, bachata, west coast swing) I have focused much more on west coast swing and fell in love with the creative expression and musical playfulness the dance encourages.

I haven’t explored much Latin/rhythm (familiar with the bronze level of rhythm) but am definitely interested in learning. I don’t have any specific goals for dancing other than just wanting to make it more of my own by finding a partner and working independently away from the studio I’ve trained with for years. I would love to take lessons with coaches as a partnership, perform professionally, and potentially compete in the future.

I am very curious and always looking to learn and try new things! I am open to exploring all of the different opportunities dancing provides.

I would like to compete in rythm and eventually go to 9 dance.

I LOVE to dance! Started way back when I caught Disco fever and have never stopped. I've danced most styles (especially love old style Latin music). Over the years, I've evolved into more of a "feel" type dancer, meaning I dance from my gut and my heart, let the music get inside and then ooze out of me as it inspires my body movement.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. I stared dancing at 18 when I took my first dance class as in college. I had no idea it would be so fun. I ended up dancing all through college and was even in Ballet company for a few years I previously had a handful of Ballroom. Swing, and salsa classes over the years and Always wanted to do more partner dancing so I'm open to pretty much any style. Dancing ballet for the past two years, recently started private ballroom lessons. Novice in both. Favorite dances are waltz and American Tango. Have natural rhythm and timing, but those steps can get challenging.

Hello:) I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. Started with belly dance and have danced all typical dance styles - mostly modern. I was a competitive athlete in gymnastics and acrobatics. A long time performer in acrobatics, dance and magic, I am currently still performing. Good sense of humor, great work ethic and enthusiastic/passionate about dance.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well-rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good, dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing. At socials I find it very difficult to get a partner for International dances. I am so happy when I get somebody for VW - which is my favorite dance.
