I am <1 year into ballroom dancing. I want to continue learning and dancing for as long as I am able and interested. I am learning a little bit of multiple dances at the moment, mainly focusing on Latin but I am interested in Waltz and other dances too. Honestly just want to dance more.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I used to dance many years ago and decided to return to the floor over this last year. I danced in the Medalist of the Year competition (IDTA) this year and made the national finals at Blackpool where I was placed 2nd in ballroom and 6th in Latin. I have enjoyed dancing since I could walk but have only learnt limited professional skills through attending some Ceroc and Line dancing classes. I taught myself some ballroom and other styles, but again, have limited skills.

a while ago, my ex was teaching me how to two step but since weve broken up i hadnt had anyone to go dancing with! i love to two step and country swjng, though im not the best at it.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I've been dancing for quite a few years wish my ability could be of a higher standard, but to be truthful it's been so difficult finding a local partner over the years with so many gaps.

So don't be put off by the years I've been dancing, I'm probably more nervous then you.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Willing to drive. Used to dance and getting back into it. Samba was my favorite, then waltz, cha cha, tango, quickstep, jive in that order. Rumba and foxtrot are ok too. Practicing by myself is boring. My body mechanics/level are probably higher than the steps/level that I know since I used to do a lot of other sports and music.

i am looking for a special dance partner that would like to become one of the premier swing dances in Australia. It has been now over 3 years since i have done any serious dancing or coaching, and have decided it its time to get back in the game. I am looking for a swing/balboa/shag dancer or some one that is willing to learn and wants to break a few rules on the way, and put the passion back into the dances that used to be there, and not the sanatised version that every one is doing and being taught out there in swing land.

I would like to dance for fitness and romance.

I have two great passions in life: literature and dance. To me, dance is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling and self-expression. I value having a strong partnership both on and off the floor: someone I can work hard with, laugh with, grow with, and genuinely connect to through movement.

I’m goofy and love to joke around at times during practice, but I also take dancing seriously and care deeply about improving. I thrive on constructive feedback, love the process of refining technique, and approach dance with a strong growth mindset. As I’m a school teacher, I’m naturally curious, reflective, and always eager to learn.

I’ve been training consistently at a local ballroom studio for the past year and a half and currently compete at the full bronze level. My goal is to move into silver this summer, and I’m looking for a dedicated partner to practice and compete in American Smooth and Rhythm with. I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

My favorite dance is salsa which is what I have the most experience in. I took classes for a couple of years and I take various workshops when I can. I also like other Latin dances such as cha cha and bachata in that order. I know those dances a little but not as much as I know salsa. I'm also open to learning other dances. Besides dancing, I work out 3-4 days a week work 40 hrs and try to enjoy as much free time as possible. For hobbies, I'm into home automation and electronics. I like to travel when I can and I do enjoy watching tv and movies at home and at the theater. I'm also open to trying/doing new things.
