High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

Hello! I grew up training mainly in ballet, contemporary, lyrical/modern, and several folk dances. I started ballroom training about 3 years ago, but progressed quickly as I've made my way through BYU's intensive ballroom program. I've competed novice, pre-champ, and amateur international latin/ballroom, american rhythm, and american smooth. I also have some cabaret experience, and completed through gold bar medals exams with high gold. I can teach social dance as well. I absolutely LOVE everything about dancing, and it has been a huge form of healing in my life. Though I love all styles and am open to competing all of them, my favorite is definitely american smooth. I plan to compete professionally, and am looking for a partner to pursue that with. I incorporate a lot of biomechanics, strength/weight training, cardio, boxing, and a variety of other movement into my training as a whole. I am very interested in dance and movement therapy, and plan to open my own studio someday that teaches dance in a healthy, supportive, encouraging, and healing way.

I dance 4 - 6 times per week primarily for exercise. I love it and would love to find a partner to attend dances with and take lessons with. Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. Happy to try other styles of dance too.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I LOVE to dance! Started way back when I caught Disco fever and have never stopped. I've danced most styles (especially love old style Latin music). Over the years, I've evolved into more of a "feel" type dancer, meaning I dance from my gut and my heart, let the music get inside and then ooze out of me as it inspires my body movement.

I began dancing a few years ago with my partner at the time, and absolutely loved it! I found it came quite easy to me, but never really experienced too much beyond ceros and tango.

Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

Competed in international Standard and Latin for 11 years as an Amateur many years ago and would like to get back into it. Recently, I have just been doing some social dancing but started training again in 2024, working on my International ballroom. I really appreciate the beauty of good technique. I trained with Rhona Pick, Rex Lewis, Denise Jourdaine, Stephan Krauel and currently Stefano Di Brino.

I have been dancing for two years and going to a dance studio around 10 hours a week. I love ballroom dancing, smooth and swing, although I dance some of the Latin dances as well I have recently been at a South Florida dance competition where I was awarded first price for a solo dance with one of my instructors and several other awards for American Walt and tango, foxtrot and vienesse waltz. I am very active and love dancing and having fun.

I started training again around 2018 and competed in the 2023 NDCA U.S. National Championships at the Sr. III level placing 3rd in Latin, 5th in Ballroom, and #1 in 10-Dance. Social dancing since then. I also work out and stay in decent shape.

Former Professional Rising Star competitor, I had to stop competing because of an injury my partner sustained that made her unable to dance. I'm hoping to return to the competition circuit.

Have been doing east coast swing, lindy hop, cajun-zydeco, and hip hop for many years.

Currently taking lessons for salsa (intermediate) , bachata/west coast swing (beginner).

I used to dance frequently but my dancing has lapsed a little since my wife / partner died a few years ago.

When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing 🕺💃 during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers.

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions, starting at the regional level 👫🏻🏆 I made rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned Champions of Poland in Ten Dance 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

I’m a very capable leader in most ballroom dances and enjoy them all. American Smooth dances are my favorite. I absolutely love the power and grace of high quality Smooth dancing. There’s no better feeling than gliding across the floor with a capable partner, especially when there’s a strong established dance connection that has developed over time.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.
