Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

I did ballroom dancing classes in Germany a few years ago and wanted to get back into it!

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

I have a lot of experience (years) with Lindy Hop and Salsa, but I’m still a beginner with Ballroom. I performed my first Waltz last year (2025) and this year I’m going to perform a Foxtrot with one of my teachers. I intend to perform Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz in the future. Maybe a Cha Cha, too. We’ll see. I come from a background as a musician.

I am looking for a dance partner.

I'm a professional musician and a natural mover / dancer. As for dance training, I began lessons as a child (tap, modern), during college joined a ballroom dance team (competed in Swing) and later as a young adult traveled to West Africa, Brazil, Europe and India to study their various cultural music and dance forms. For the past ten years I've been dancing salsa and bachata, blues fusion, micro fusion and other styles. Dancing is what makes me feel most alive! I would love to learn Tango next.

I’m a dedicated dancer with 15 years of experience, the last 4 years being my most intensive. My strongest style is Salsa On1, followed by Bachata and Kizomba. I’m an advanced and light follower with a sensitive reaction time, and I love refining technique, musicality, and creative expression. I’ve attended around 30 festivals, taught Bachata choreography classes, and have a background in acrobatic yoga, giving me strong body awareness and a structured teaching approach.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I have been in two small competitions and placed 3rd, and 2nd. I have such a PASSION for dance! It’s all about the connection!

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

Mom and Dad were the First to start Ballroom Dancing as therapy after my dad had a stoke. My niece was next to get going and I have finally been pulled into Ballroom. I Used to be a Trumpet player for the defense of the country, but now I can be found dancing to the music instead of performing. 17 years of group classes and about 6 of private lessons. Mostly American styles, but have been getting into International lately.

If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. I took ball room classes for 2 years in the middle school. I have not danced since then. I love pair dances of different kind. I would like to learn salsa, tango, country and other kinds of couple dances.

I started learning Int. Latin in November 2022 and competing in February 2023, but have been dancing socially for about five years. I’ve participated in several Latin comps and a couple Country comps so far. I would like to continue competing and social dancing with a partner.
