I am a 3 Time US National Senior 1 and Senior 2 Latin Champion looking for ambitious, committed lead. I’ve enjoyed being in Top 20 in Senior Latin at Blackpool, several international and world championships. I have loved every moment of it.

My regular coaches have been Nick and Viktoria, Sabrina Manzi, Tykon and Yana, Max Sinitsa, Shirley Ballas, Goran Nordin, Evgeny Nazarov, Nikolay Voronovich, and Anna Kovalova, and have studied with many more of the greats. I love the ballroom life - the music, the beauty, the travel and most importantly, the dances!

I enjoy dancing as a way to express myself and appreciate music. I’m always open to learning new styles and improving my skills, while keeping my interests balanced with my faith and personal growth.

Originally, I learned single time swing in high school 25 years ago, salsa during College 20 years ago, and did some ballroom in the mid 2000s. Recently got back into it in 2023. In a typical week I'll have 2-3 hours of group lessons, with one or two social dances for about 1.5 hours each. Would love to practice once a week for a couple hours to go over all the dances and various moves, though I can be flexible on that. My goal is to have fun, make sure my follows have fun, and be competent on the dance floor.

While I am up for learning routines for performances, at the moment do not have the time or interest in competing.

I learn from a Fred Astaire Instructor in American Smooth & American Rhythm. I'm open to doing some international lessons, but primarily dance and practice American Smooth & Rhythm. Below is a quick description of my knowledge in each dance style:

Ballroom Swing / Single Time Swing / Single Time Jive: several steps

Bolero: most steps

Cha-Cha: all Bronze steps

Country Two Step: the first few steps

Disco Waltz: most bronze steps and a silver step

Foxtrot: Know the first 4-5 bronze steps

Latin Hustle: all bronze steps and some silver steps

Night Club Two step: Basic step, maybe a couple more

Rumba: all bronze steps

Samba: first few bronze steps

Tango: all bronze steps, some knowledge of silver steps

Viennese waltz: reverse turns, natural turns, and change/bridge steps.

Waltz: all bronze steps, beginning to learn silver

West Coast Swing: Knowledge of a few basic steps.

I’ve danced ballroom and Latin for 10 years and sequence dancing for the last two years, mainly social dancing.

My level is upper intermediate/borderline advanced. About to restart private lessons.

At the moment I don’t attend lessons, as dance schools locally only take people with a dance partner.

It would be great to meet a new dance partner and see if we are a comfortable and relaxed fit, on the dance floor.

My priority is for a Ballroom and Latin dance partner to enjoy social dancing and to improve dancing skills and,

if he is open to it, sequence dancing.

I live in the Dorchester area, but travel up to an hour or so for dances further away. Dancing is pure joy!

Previous dance experience includes Salsa, standard and Rueda (advanced level) and Modern Jive to a good standard.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I’m 49 years old. I started ballroom dancing 14 years ago. I enjoy dancing and have advanced to a high level. I'm proficient in Latin and Ballroom. I'm very fun loving and like to have a laugh but at the same time I am very focused and willing to work hard. Would love to find a dance partner I can train with. Looking for a passionate Salsa or Bachata competition partner who's ready to train hard, push boundaries, and create something incredible together! I'm also open to Pro/Am competition opportunities with an experienced professional dancer! Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was 2 years old, with a background in ballet, jazz, lyrical, poms, and cheerleading. Over the past 6 years, I've dedicated myself to Salsa and Bachata, training in both San Diego and Denver, Colorado. I'm currently part of one of Colorado's top salsa dance schools and perform on their couples performance team. My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have danced all International latin and standard dances for approximately 30 years until corona hit and I stopped. Now, I seek a lady with whom to relearn dance, have fun, share ideas, social dance, and possibly compete again in the senior divisions. At the very least I am looking for someone who would like to seriously practice. As a "practice partner" age does not matter - that is you could be younger. I am willing to dance socially all dances but, as a practical matter, I believe that faced with the realities of age, only Standard dances would result in an acceptable competency level for competitive purposes. As a child, I learned tap, ballet, charleston and modern dance. I continued social dancing as an adult, with a focus on learning Cuban Salsa, Cha-cha, Rumba, Bachata, and Swing. When I retired at 60, I conditioned/trained and currently am a Burlesque performer, performing locally and internationally. I am learning lindy hop and tango, but I have a keen interest to learn Blues and Jive. I am also currently learning Lyra and Silks to incorporate into my Burlesque choreography.

I started dancing when I was three — tap, ballet, and jazz — and I fell in love with ballroom at age twenty while training at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. I come to the Twin Cities one to two times a month and always enjoy an evening at places like the Blues Saloon or the VFW. I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. Self-employed with a flexible schedule.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.
