I am happily married but unfortunately my other half is way too tall for me as a dance partner. I love both Ballroom and Latin, my favourite dances being Tango and Slow Foxtrot in Ballroom and Rumba and Jive in Latin. I think I have a good sense of humour but don't we all? Recently I have been entering SupaDance competitions and my partner and I came first in the 35-49 age group team matches at Blackpool - not too shabby for someone my age? My partner has decided to move on to other things. I may not be your ideal match but hey, what could it hurt to try "a spin around the floor"?

have private lessons in Ballroom and Latin , as have no partner. Have attempted Argentine Tango, but think i need a very patient partner, or is it just difficult ????

I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

Total AMATEUR except freestyle. I've dabbled with 2 to 3 WCS brief lessons that I haven't practiced and struggle to remember so I need to practice. I’ve been a feeestyle dancer all my life. People used to pay me money to do the twist when I was 4 years old (jukebox quarters heheh). I’ve done some line dancing both CW & hip hop, Cupid shuffle, electric slide, stroke, wobble, and wop. Learned the cowboy cha cha partner dance quite awhile ago and two step, during a CW phase. Dancing is my favorite form of exercise and entertainment. Know a bit of salsa, Cumbia, cha cha, salsa mostly from you tube. My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I danced a bit of hip hop growing up and was always surrounded by dancers. But it wasnt till 5 years ago that a friend showed me a basic rumba step and i was hooked i have been dancing on and off since then.

She danced with her brother Art in a lot of the big cities in the United States, But mostly in New York. When I was a senior in High School, I was voted best dancer for the yearbook. 10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I was obsessed about a decade ago and recently came back and the teacher moved me to intermediate after a month. Its amazing how much I remember. Ive been told I am a quick learner and a food follower. I attend 2 classes weekly and dance socials at least 2x a month. I would love to have someone to practice with and hone my skills and keep progressing.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. Being an former gymnast and yoga teacher, I have quite a bit of flexibility and strength. I would enjoy doing aerial, lifts, and dips. Just after our "At the Hop" performance in Gulfport, FL. A regular in the audience mistook me for an 18 year old. LOL I have fun! I love to perform, but don't have to compete (theater arts is appropriate). I like the hard stuff.
