Started dancing in March when I went to Fred Astaire for the mother/son dance. Loved it! I’ve taken two lessons a day pretty much since then. I get extremely nervous performing.

I have been dancing for about 20 years and have studied most dances and competed in International Standard, Latin. I started with social dances such as swing and Argentine tango, but moved into International Latin and Standard competition. I love to dance socially but especially enjoy training and competition. I have started dancing again with a focus on American Smooth. I competed at the open level in International 10 dance but am open to dancing with a dancer that may have fewer years of training but has potential and talent because excellence comes with training and dedication. I am seeking a partner to learn American Smooth routines to practice with and potentially compete with.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. i have danced modern jive for two years , and really enjoy learning ballroom , i am easy going and believe dancing should always be fun.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I love dancing to live music. I want to learn more Lindy Hop moves- I already know the basics. I haven’t had lessons but I’d like to try some acrobatic dancing .But, I love all kinds of music.I go out dancing Friday, Saturday, , Sunday, and sometimes Tuesday ., sometimes for 6 hours at a time . I love R&B, hip-hop, jazz ,Irish music, cover bands are fun . I can also waltz and polka .I also take power walks every day, and do yoga weekly, in addition to dancing ( to stay in shape).

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

I'm familiar with the basic latin dance.And I'm interested in learning some new moves.

Among many of my interests in arts, I love dancing because of the music, particularly the Latin musics. I have been considered as a nature, smooth dancer and good follower.

Well, to do it right, I used to take several ballroom dance lessons per week - even thought I have socially danced in college.

Update in 2005 - I am a pretty good ballroom dancer by now. I would like to learn more fancy steps. In this case, a constant dance partner would be necessary for both of us to progress along. Waltz foxtrot quickstep - I take some lessons every few years but need an experienced dance partner

My favorite dances include intermediate level Hustle, Nite-Club 2 Step, West Coast Swing. I also enjoy Waltz, Rhumba, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Tango, and Salsa . I would like to expand my repertory in all. Eventually I would like to learn the beautiful dance of Argentine Tango.

I love to dance and enjoy the ballroom environment. Social dancing is at the top of my favorite activities. Practicing 2-3 times a week is the type of dance partner I am looking for. Friends and dance partner! I dance at the bronze level in most styles. Your level is important to me only to help you.
