I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I have been taking private lessons for almost 20 years and have competed, performed showcases and danced socially. I try to attend 2-3 practice sessions/socials each week. I like all smooth and latin dances, American and international. I try to attend group lessons and socials at new places when I can.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I love to go out social dacing as it is a great form of exercise and entertainment, I am most energetic and love all kinds of physical activities. I love Rock n' Roll, Salsa, and Argentine Tango. Well all dancing is good with the right partner, my idea is to have fun and love what you are doing. So chemistry plays a big part. I love being outdoors when I am not dancing. Bicycle riding, running, swimming, golf, or just relaxing at the pool is good. I eat healthy and look after my body amd spirit, Definately a NON SMOKER.

My goal is to compete in Amateur Novice, Pre-Championship, and Championship categories. I’ve been dancing Standard and Latin for almost three years, am deeply passionate about ballroom, and am highly dedicated to private training.

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.
