Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

I have been dancing American style for about 15 years and I enjoy social dancing.Would like to find a local partner that loves practice, train, split coaching expensive. Eventual Goal is to compete in Smooth or Rhythm.

I have taken various classes and am still very much a beginner. I gave up a few years ago. I am going to start taking classes again, primarily swing, west coast swing and ballroom.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

Started ballroom seriously this year, focusing on American Smooth and Rhythm. Currently Bronze syllabus across most dances, but progressing quickly with strong dedication - clean basics, good frame, and solid musicality. I take 1-3 group classes weekly plus 2-4 private lessons weekly, and practice at least 1 hour daily on my own (drills, solo styling, conditioning). Ready to ramp that up with a practice partner for extra floor time.

My main goal right now is my first pro-am competition with my teacher in March 2026 - super excited! For practice, I'm looking for casual, fun sessions to build stamina and technique without any immediate pressure. Open to transitioning to amateur-amateur comps together later if the chemistry clicks and schedules align.

I am a beginner in ballroom dancing at a local dance training academy. I’m a retired Army officer, very fit, and this is something I really want to get in to. I’ve been practicing a lot of swing, waltz, rumba, tango and chacha but want to learn more. My primary goal is to have fun and become a better dancer. Secondary goal is to enter competitions but it’s not required. I’m open to multiple dance sessions per week.

I socially danced ballroom at a beginning state years ago but gave it up over 25 years ago. I have always loved to dance and after my husband passed in 2022 I decided to bring dance back into my life.I currently take private lessons with a Competition skilled instructor 3 days a week and attend 3 hours of classes. I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

I am a beginner looking to learn a range of dance styles - ballroom and Latin - and have fun learning.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 5 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

Have been dancing for approximately 4 years now, bronze 3, no prior dancing background.

Wanting to dance more socially, improve my skills and potentially compete if the opportunity arose. I'm a little bit different in the fact that I'm legally blind. Regardless of this, I'm quite a competent dancer and a fast learner.

I have been dancing for about 14 years. I want to compete either international or American style. I can do it all at the open level.I learn quickly and work hard. I just love dancing!
