My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I am currently at a beginner bronze level in the Arthur Murray syllabus in American smooth and rhythm. I have competed at several Arthur Murray events including two dance o ramas. I am interested in continuing the American styles along with learning international as well. I would also like to expand my skills to west coast swing, argentine tango, and zouk. I am seeking a partner who would like to compete.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I have practiced lindy hop and swing for 5+ years and am currently learning ballroom dances at Arthur Murray. I am taking bronze3-level classes and am eager to practice regularly in order to make progress. I am interested in practicing lindy and would also be interested in cha cha or salsa. My goal is to have fun, improve my social dancing, develop my technique, and maybe try entering competitions or joining a performance team!

I dance Bachata, Country/Western, Kizomba, and Salsa. Bachata and Salsa give me flow and rhythm, Country/Western keeps my frame sharp, and Kizomba deepens connection. Training comes from socials, lessons, and practice. I’m interested in musicality, lead dance with follow, and building community through dance. My goals: refine technique, travel, and keep growing.”

Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

I teach horseback riding and train horses for a living. My dancing is a way to get out of the dust and enjoy the music and socialize. I can't always get out to the group classes or dances and would love a regular partner to practice with or go out to dances with.

I started salsa for a laugh 6 years ago and ended up loving it :)

I now go 4 times a week learning cross body and Cuban salsa.

I'm also learning Bachata, kizomba and zouk as well.

I would love to get to a high standard and perform and open my own club 1 day.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba. After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

I really enjoy partner dancing. Since 2020 have gotten a bit rusty, would like to get back to some regular practice sessions and social dances. I have taken some private lessons, but generally go to group classes.. Some of my favorite dances are East Coast Swing, ChaCha, Rumba, waltz, foxtrot (definitely need to get the rust off this one). I am open to learning new dances ... if it is dancing it is fun :-)
