So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with hustle, west coast swing and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water parks, beaches, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing. Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

I started at age 8 being part of an art academy which involved singing, acting, dancing. I learned jazz partner dancing and tap then later on in middle school I took ballet, hip hop and belly dance classes and in highschool I decided to try ballroom and fell inlove with it.

I have a strong background in ballroom dancing — I trained and competed professionally for about 10 years, taking part in various championships and also teaching for a year at a dance school. My main focus was International Latin and Standard, but I also enjoyed Salsa and Social Ballroom.

Although I stepped away from dancing about 7 years ago, I deeply miss it. Dance has always been my passion, my way to recharge, and a source of happiness. Now I want to bring this discipline and joy back into my life. My goal is to rebuild my dance form, regain flexibility, and reconnect with the techniques I once mastered.

At this stage, I am open to practicing independently with a partner, creating choreographies together, and — if needed — taking private lessons later to refine technique.

I have been dancing Salsa and Bachata on and off for about 18 years at dance socials in Central NJ and Northern NJ, and have done couples and group choregraphed performances for these dances at dance studios in the past. I've also learned Argentine Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, and Merengue. I'd like to learn beginner levels of Ballroom dances next, so that I can attend Ballroom/Latin dance socials and dance to any song that comes on. I'd also like to advance my skills in Argentine Tango and the various Latin dances, and have a dance partner to attend private lessons and practice with.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

I began ballroom dancing about 15 years ago and consider myself a solid bronze-level dancer, although I’m comfortable following a more advanced lead. I haven’t focused heavily on advancing through additional levels simply because finding a compatible dance partner in my area who can confidently lead at my current level has been challenging.

That’s what brought me here! I would love to meet a dance partner who, like me, truly enjoys ballroom dancing and would like to have someone to share it with. While I would be very comfortable dancing with someone more advanced, I’m equally open to a partner who is less experienced than I am. Skill level is not nearly as important to me as having a good connection, enjoying our time on the dance floor, and being willing to learn and improve together.

I’m a good follower, enjoy learning, and would be happy to continue developing my skills alongside the right partner. Most of all, I miss the enjoyment and connection that comes from dancing with someone who loves it as much as I do.

Formerly taught Ballroom many years ago. Still go to studios. A little rusty in some spots, but can hold my own. My goal is to find a social partner and possibly a relationship.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing. At socials I find it very difficult to get a partner for International dances. I am so happy when I get somebody for VW - which is my favorite dance. I have five years of intensive private lessons and some social dancing.

Interests are in Tango, swing, swing fusion, developing West Coast swing skills... I do Israeli and international and Zydeco as well. Love contra because of the people. Just moved to the Chicago area.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

I'm passionate about Argentine tango and I dance about three to four times a week. Two classes/workshops and two good milongas usually.

I prefer estilo milonguero and the music from the Golden Age of tango, mainly Pugliese, but also Troilo, Demare, or De Angelis. Not very much into alternative...

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

I've been ballroom dancing for about 11 years now, first doing pro-am competition, and more recently competing at the amateur level (in International Latin). At the pro-am level, I've competed in the Latin, Rhythm, and American Smooth styles. I did fairly well competitively, especially with Latin and Rhythm, and have won a fair number of scholarships in some of the larger competitions. On the amateur side, I competed at the pre-champ and open levels in Latin. My partner and I won the pre-champ division in our age level, and then made the final in open Latin at the USA Dance national championships in 2010. Prior to ballroom, I spent about 18 years doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I love everything there is about dance--I think it's part of my soul, and who I am. I want to keep growing and improving in this sport/art, but most of all, I want to have fun doing that!

I've been told I'm a talented dancer. I hope that's true (I'm always full of doubts, of course!), but I know I'm a hard worker, very devoted to dancing, and I'll work my butt off getting reading for a competition or performance. I've had coaching from some of the best in the business, and I'll be forever grateful for the insight, support, and advice these wonderful coaches have given me.

Professionally, I'm a scientist, and have my own business doing consulting work in the biotech world. I'm pretty athletic, I run a lot (and used to compete in running too), lift weights, and do yoga regularly. I'm also a pretty serious mountain climber. I've climbed both in the United States and in South America in the Andes, and I hope to climb Mt. McKinley in Alaska in the very near future (it's on my Bucket List!) I also have what I think is a pretty unique hobby--once I summit a mountain, I do a little dance on the top. I think it's quite possible that I hold the world record for a high altitude samba (20,700 feet on Chimborazo in Ecuador). If you know anyone who's done the samba at a higher elevation than that, I don't want to hear about it.

Oh yeah, I also love dogs and have a great Labrador retriever named Newton. He is truly the best dog on the planet.
