I dance Afro-Cuban: Danzon; Guaguanco; Yambu; Columbia; Cha Cha Cha; Mambo; Son; Casino; Salsa; and Bachata; Cumbia; Meregue; Flamenco; and now Argentine Tango. (I'm begining Tango would like a partner). Music and dance are my life and I'm looking for a partner to share the dance experience. I love Cuban music dance, however, all of the popular dances are part of my repertoire. I'm currently studying Argentine Tango - elegant!

I am looking for a dedicated dance partner who is interested in entering competitions. I love all three styles: Latin, Ballroom and New Vogue. I am dancing at a studio where we do Composite medals and I have completed all Premier star and Oscar Medals and I am teaching social dancers. I am looking for a partner for Competitions. I have been professionally training dance since 2002, and I also give dance classrooms for Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Latin and Salsa dances.

I’ve been dancing ballroom for nearly 20 years, and I still find myself drawn to the studio like it’s a second home. There’s something about the repetition, the refinement, the quiet focus—it’s where I feel most grounded.

Salsa, though, is where I breathe. It’s not just the rhythm or the movement—it’s the way it settles into your body and lets you speak without words. There’s a calm in it, even when the music is fast. A kind of joy that doesn’t need to be loud.

I dance for the connection. For the shared smiles, the spontaneous moments, the way a good lead or follow can turn a simple song into something unforgettable. Social dancing is where I come alive—not for the spotlight, but for the people and the pulse we create together.

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I would like a partner I can compete with in Latin. I am disciplined, but can be light-hearted and love learning new things.

Willing to drive. Used to dance and getting back into it. Samba was my favorite, then waltz, cha cha, tango, quickstep, jive in that order. Rumba and foxtrot are ok too. Practicing by myself is boring. My body mechanics/level are probably higher than the steps/level that I know since I used to do a lot of other sports and music.

I've been dancing for quite a few years wish my ability could be of a higher standard, but to be truthful it's been so difficult finding a local partner over the years with so many gaps.

So don't be put off by the years I've been dancing, I'm probably more nervous then you.

Most proficient in American Smooth and Rhythm. Willing to do some catching up in order to compete in International and Latin. Would like to split private lessons at Rogers Dance Center, Fairfield, NJ, as well as, at your studio. I’m open to twice a week or whatever frequency is agreed upon. Availability is evenings/nights Mon- Fri or weekends.

Started with Bush dancing, went onto Ballroom, then picked up Ballet, Jazz & Tap. About 10 years ago I picked up R&R & Swing Dancing. I am still part of a Tap Troupe, I teach during the day in my own business, & I dance R&R & Swing socially with weekly lessons, & I attend CPD workshops in blues & solo swing in Melbourne regularly (I am the lead mostly so I can keep burning the dance floor all night). Would love to compete with a competent Male dance partner :)

Processing a recent loss, taking life one step at a time, not quite back to dating yet, although will soon.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally. I like attending dances at least twice per month, and sometimes life gets in the way of more ... lol ... sometimes.

Regarding the 1 hour of practice four per week listed on my profile, that is at least 2 group lessons, 1 private, and 1 practice at a minimum. I've competed and performed, open to such again, and open to taking lessons together, yet flexible on all of those.

Enjoy being affectionate, conversational, and playful, while good with both staying in or going out. Like spending time with family, cooking, growing a relationship, my business, and flowers and veggies too. With the latter, I could use a better green thumb. ; )

Will travel a distance to date. Good with vacations inside my region and beyond, there are many places that could be exciting to see. Also enjoy painting, reading, writing, and interested in sharing cultures, cuisines, films, museums, music, and theater.
