I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I began dancing in the early 1980 by taking CW dance classes in Austin, Tx with my wife. Social dancing was one of our passions until she passed in 2025. We also took some ballroom dance classes and enjoyed combining the two styles. We especially enjoyed the Waltz.

Love to dance and perform and willing to compete. Looking for partner for social dancing, lessons, and maybe showcases and amateur competitions. Fairly new to Portland. Have been to salsa, WCS, rumba and bachata lessons at various studios and to social dances.

Eight years ago, began dance lessons in all styles. Then competed in Standard/Ballroom pro-am and amateur-amateur at College comps.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I love to dance and have few competition experience on International standard. I love to practice and see the improvements I/we make.

I stared dancing at 18 when I took my first dance class as in college. I had no idea it would be so fun. I ended up dancing all through college and was even in Ballet company for a few years I previously had a handful of Ballroom. Swing, and salsa classes over the years and Always wanted to do more partner dancing so I'm open to pretty much any style. I recently picked up Country dancing and am most interested in country dancing.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... Danced since the age of four and started choreographing since the age of eight. Trained at the prestigious School of Bellas Artes de Carolina PR in ballet, jazz, afro-caribbean, hip hop and modern dance, went on to a performing in theaters and live stage shows, and appearing on television, in music videos, commercials, news papers and the press.

Became a professional dance teacher since age sixteen teaching hip hop, ballet and jazz, relocated to Kansas at Bates Dance Studios. Moved after graduating high school and joined the Arthur Murray Dance Studio franchise, earning certification social bronze in Rhythm and Smooth. Became an aerobic instructor certify under world-renowned champions Bob Powers & Julia Gorchakova and Jaana Kunitz, while competing as a professional. Had the opportunity to be part of other prestigious dances studios like Basic Ballroom in NYC. Later founded and ran two dance studios of my own “Dance to the Beat” in Florida, teaching, performing, and choreographing while appearing in commercials, television, radio and press. That career opened the door to choreographing for artists including Oscar de León, De La Ghetto, Dalex and many more.

Put a quick hold on dancing and pursued a career in Hollywood movies, where had worked as a stuntwoman, actress, stunt coordinator-action designer in major productions including, Loki, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Black Panther, Walking Dead, Blue Beetle, Black Heat, Call Her King and many more. Created her independent filmmaking career making it at the “Women International Film festival”. Writing, directing, producing, action designing, and editing her own movie. Where she continues doing for herself.

Now Yadi returns to where it all began. I want to dance again. Interested in competing again in Rhythm and/or Smooth. Also interested in Latin and/or Standard as a beginner if needed to be. Willing to partner for Zouk, Kizomba

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with hustle, west coast swing and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. I've been ballroom dancing for about 11 years now, first doing pro-am competition, and more recently competing at the amateur level (in International Latin). At the pro-am level, I've competed in the Latin, Rhythm, and American Smooth styles. I did fairly well competitively, especially with Latin and Rhythm, and have won a fair number of scholarships in some of the larger competitions. On the amateur side, I competed at the pre-champ and open levels in Latin. My partner and I won the pre-champ division in our age level, and then made the final in open Latin at the USA Dance national championships in 2010. Prior to ballroom, I spent about 18 years doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I love everything there is about dance--I think it's part of my soul, and who I am. I want to keep growing and improving in this sport/art, but most of all, I want to have fun doing that!

I've been told I'm a talented dancer. I hope that's true (I'm always full of doubts, of course!), but I know I'm a hard worker, very devoted to dancing, and I'll work my butt off getting reading for a competition or performance. I've had coaching from some of the best in the business, and I'll be forever grateful for the insight, support, and advice these wonderful coaches have given me.

Professionally, I'm a scientist, and have my own business doing consulting work in the biotech world. I'm pretty athletic, I run a lot (and used to compete in running too), lift weights, and do yoga regularly. I'm also a pretty serious mountain climber. I've climbed both in the United States and in South America in the Andes, and I hope to climb Mt. McKinley in Alaska in the very near future (it's on my Bucket List!) I also have what I think is a pretty unique hobby--once I summit a mountain, I do a little dance on the top. I think it's quite possible that I hold the world record for a high altitude samba (20,700 feet on Chimborazo in Ecuador). If you know anyone who's done the samba at a higher elevation than that, I don't want to hear about it.

Oh yeah, I also love dogs and have a great Labrador retriever named Newton. He is truly the best dog on the planet.
