My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am looking for a regular or temporary available training dance partner advanced level in ballroom and / or Latin dance to practice together depending on his arrangements and I will adjust apart from travel outside London, unless once a month. I work full time Mon to Fri. I attend competition ballroom & Latin classes. Regarding Latin, I have learnt a set of 5 dance sport training routines, now working on styling so for any man who would like to recall or improve his Latin it is advantage that I already know my steps.

I 'm pretty good at dancing

As a child, I learned tap, ballet, charleston and modern dance. I continued social dancing as an adult, with a focus on learning Cuban Salsa, Cha-cha, Rumba, Bachata, and Swing. When I retired at 60, I conditioned/trained and currently am a Burlesque performer, performing locally and internationally. I am learning lindy hop and tango, but I have a keen interest to learn Blues and Jive. I am also currently learning Lyra and Silks to incorporate into my Burlesque choreography.

I have a lot of experience (years) with Lindy Hop and Salsa, but I’m still a beginner with Ballroom. Lately, I've been focusing on Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. I performed my first Waltz last year (2025) and this year I’m going to perform a Foxtrot with one of my teachers. I intend to perform Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz in the future. Maybe a Cha Cha, too. We’ll see. I come from a background as a musician.

I've been dancing for about 18 years in Central and Northern NJ, and have done couples and group choregraphed performances for salsa and bachata in the past. I've also learned Argentine Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, and Merengue. As of Sept 2026, I started taking private lessons for Foxtrot and Waltz, and I'd like to learn beginner levels of all ballroom dances so that I can dance to any song that comes on at Ballroom & Latin socials. I'd also like to advance my skills in Argentine Tango and the various Latin dances, and have a dance partner to attend private lessons and practice with.

Hello, thanks for stopping by... I have been involved with dance on and off since childhood with ethnic dancing, ballroom in college, disco era and intermittent for the last 10 years. This information didn't fit into the initial profile form. I started taking individual lessons in the last few weeks and I'm having fun dancing again and meeting dancers in the area. Although I'm primarily interested in social dancing, I could be open to performing as I have in the past.

I have several advanced psychology degrees and feel humble and grateful for my career with helping others help themselves. I respect the diversity of people, am neither far left or right, served in the military and value volunteerism. Don't do alcohol/drugs and eat healthy but also like popcorn & nearly anything with sugar!
