Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

With my few years of experience in ballet, contemporary, and salsa, I've performed in various showcases. Dance is my passion and a way to express myself.

I am serious about dance; however, at this stage of the game, my primary goal is to have some fun! I've studied ballet, tap, modern, ballroom and confess to having been a Disco Queen years ago. :-) I truly understand the art of following. I'm in terrific shape, and don't mind saying that I look pretty darn good on the dance floor.

After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

Just a man looking to dance and have a good time.I am excellent at breaking down steps and working to improve dancers,adding that extra touch to stand out on the dance floor. Gold and gold bar teacher at major studio in southern California.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I am just about to take Argentine dance lessons (January 2026). I hope to be able to have the opportunity to dance outside of classes.

I took both some basic salsa and West Coast swing dance lessons around 2010. Do not remember much from them but am willing to practice with someone who wants to have fun dancing but has patience. I am hoping to take again lessons in at least one of these styles sometime this year (2026).

If I am able to find a good dance connection, I am no open you other styles as well.

As I like and learn a style, I am willing to spend more time practicing.

I am open to establishing a connection even if circumstances mean we might not dance together for a while.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

Dancing invigorates, impassions, and absorbs me. I can't get enough of it. I would practice everyday, all day long, but unfortunately I have to have an income. :)

Presently, I am focusing on Ballroom and West Coast Swing. I have taken WCS lessons with Danielle Blouin and Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay. I still love salsa and hustle though, and am open to A. Tango, but I can't just do A. Tango, I need variety.

Being an former gymnast and yoga teacher, I have quite a bit of flexibility and strength. I would enjoy doing aerial, lifts, and dips. Just after our "At the Hop" performance in Gulfport, FL. A regular in the audience mistook me for an 18 year old. LOL I have fun! I love to perform, but don't have to compete (theater arts is appropriate). I like the hard stuff.

On the personal side, I am a vegetarian and am into healthy eating and healthy living. I also love music, art, architecture, theater, swimming, walks on the beach, and out in nature.

Dance is a beautiful art Form that I wish to be able to share with my partner and the world by performing exquisitely.

I’m just starting to explore the world of movement and expression through dance. My background is fairly minimal—I didn’t grow up dancing, but I’ve always admired it from afar. What drew me in initially was how dance combines athleticism with emotion, storytelling, and music in a way that feels incredibly freeing.

Right now, I'm focused on building a strong foundation. I’ve been taking beginner-level classes in styles like hip-hop and contemporary, trying to get comfortable with rhythm, coordination, and basic technique. I'm also dabbling in ballet and jazz to strengthen my posture, flexibility, and body awareness.

My main interest lies in learning how to connect more deeply with music and express emotions through movement. I love watching choreography that tells a story or evokes a strong feeling, and I hope to one day choreograph my own pieces, even if it’s just for myself.

As for training, I’m taking group classes at a local studio and supplementing that with online tutorials and freestyle practice at home. I’m also trying to improve my strength and flexibility through stretching and light conditioning.

My short-term goals are to gain confidence in my movements, improve my musicality, and develop a better understanding of how my body moves. Long-term, I’d love to perform in a showcase, collaborate with other dancers, and maybe even teach beginners one day—helping others who are just starting out, like me.

Overall, I’m excited by the journey, even though it can be challenging at times. Dance is pushing me out of my comfort zone, and that’s exactly why I love it.

I’m interested in social dancing. I have a lot of experience and I really enjoy dancing.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Dancing is one of my favorite activities. Mom says I have happy feet, and have to dance on the beat. I was born on April fools and it seems I look at life through joyful eyes

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel wherever to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba.
