I dance 4 - 6 times per week primarily for exercise. I love it and would love to find a partner to attend dances with and take lessons with. I love ballroom, line dance, west coast, country couples dance, Latin social dance, and am looking into contra, folk, and square. Would love to find a partner to share the journey!

My favorite dances include intermediate level Hustle, Nite-Club 2 Step, West Coast Swing. I also enjoy Waltz, Rhumba, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Tango, and Salsa . I would like to expand my repertory in all. Eventually I would like to learn the beautiful dance of Argentine Tango.

Whilst I enjoy dancing socially (Tea dances, Dinner dances), I particularly enjoy practising in order to improve on technique as well as learning new steps. I rate myself to be at intermediate level in Ballroom & Latin and I also dance the more common Sequence dances; I would just LOVE to learn the Argentine Tango!

Recently, due to no longer having a regular local Ballroom dance partner, I started attending Senior Ballet and Tap Dancing classes, as well as periodically attending a Scottish Country Dancing group - just in order to be dancing; I have found immense enjoyment in these forms of dance. Through dancing, my appreciation and enjoyment of music has also developed and widened.

Whilst just a social dancer, I aim to dance to the very best of my ability, learn new things and to have fun!

I am told that I am a good follower, am light on my feet and have good timing.

I have been learning all forms of ballroom for two years. I have la good foundation in the latin/ rhythm dances which I have competed in with my instructor. I hope to continue learning with an amateur partner so I can get more practice and develop further. I'm not married to one path or type of dance at this point.

I competed for many years in Amateur Open Championship and Senior I Championship in International Standard in the US and I would love to compete in Europe as well. I have won most major Prechamp competitions in the USA, and my most highest national result was 3rd place in USA National Championships in Senior 1 Standard in 2015. I worked among others with Ieva Pauksena, Danny Quilliam, Anna Mikhed, Paul Holmes, Maria Hansen, Alexander Voskalchuk, Pierre Allaire, and Mireille Veilleux.

Grew up taking ballet through my early teens. Love most music & dancing. Really want to learn West Coast Swing (since it works for most songs) but County 2-step & line dancing would be amazing too. Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I love dancing to live music. I want to learn more Lindy Hop moves- I already know the basics. I haven’t had lessons but I’d like to try some acrobatic dancing .But, I love all kinds of music.I go out dancing Friday, Saturday, , Sunday, and sometimes Tuesday ., sometimes for 6 hours at a time . I love R&B, hip-hop, jazz ,Irish music, cover bands are fun . I can also waltz and polka .I also take power walks every day, and do yoga weekly, in addition to dancing ( to stay in shape).

I have been ballroom dancing for at least 20 years, performed with the BYU ballroom team in 1982, and have taught beginning and intermediate courses in the community for over 10 years. I have 2 adult children who have placed nationally.

I would like to compete and perform at the senior level for standard, rhythm, Latin, smooth.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

Former member of BYU Ballroom Team 1985-1989 (performance tours through Asia, US, and Europe including Blackpool and World Latin Formation Championships - 1989). Inrntl Standard training with Stephen & Elizabeth Cullip ('89-'94) and Kathryn Schaffer ('00-'03). Amateur Championship-level Standard competitions through 2003. I started training again around 2018 and competed in the 2023 NDCA U.S. National Championships at the Sr. III level placing 3rd in Latin, 5th in Ballroom, and #1 in 10-Dance. Social dancing since then. I also work out and stay in decent shape.

I love to dance, my Favs are: Waltz, Rumba, Bachata, Hustle, Cha-Cha and Two step, but open to any. I presently take private lessons once a week and group classes as well. Starred Latin and Ballroom dance at the age of 11 stopped at the age of 16. I have always had a passion for dancing and come alive when I'm dancing with music I almost merge with the music. Love dancing with a strong lead male. Love Latin samba and cha cha I've returned to dance at the ago of 34 with I interest in actually competing for the first time with a suitable well matched partner. Would like to train share dance lessons to further improve practice and most of all have fun 😊

Started dancing in March when I went to Fred Astaire for the mother/son dance. Loved it! I’ve taken two lessons a day pretty much since then. I get extremely nervous performing.

I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

I used to teach full-time professionally. Specifically ballroom, so that is where most of my training is. I would like to find someone who knows ballroom, or at least wants to learn. However, I am also interested in attending socials and workshops, etc. Lets talk more and see if we align.

Pleasant mild mannered easy to get along with gent.... I am a fast learning dance enthusiast... I can waltz, cha cha, tango and quick step and very keen to learn more and improve.... strictly salsa is great but I really prefer bachata… it’s so much more fun and practically goes with any tune… so my inhouse walking tends to be bachata steps 😂 😂 crazy hah! 😂
