Dancing in clubs. Two-Step Country Western

I am back. After taking a few years off dancing, I've decided to dance again and am serious about finding a partner and dancing again.

Im originally from Leicester and London england and am British trained dancer with specialty in international latin but also interested in salsa and bachata and social dancing in general. I had recieved training from Karina Smirnoff, Goran Nordin, Max Kozhevnikov and other amazing teachers more recently.

When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers 💃🕺

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions. Starting at the regional level at first, I made a rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned 10 Dance Champions of Poland U18 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with hustle, west coast swing and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water parks, beaches, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing. Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

I already have a life partner but she has some physical limitations so I'm looking for a dance partner without a romantic relationship. A good friendship and good partner chemistry would be nice though.

Fairly new to ballroom. Willing to work hard to improve! I've been taking group lessons for about a year now in various styles but I feel my progress has been limited without a dedicated partner with whom to practice. Would be looking to practice/take lessons three times a week and once (maybe longer) on the weekends. I am very open to competing if my partner wants to do so but would not rule out a partner who prefers practice and social dancing at this point.

I am Beginner Bronze in the styles listed below except those I list as "I would like to learn" below (meaning haven't tried yet).

Dance styles I am interested in:

International Standard including Waltz, V-Waltz, Tango,Foxtrot and would like to learn Quickstep

Latin Including Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and would like to learn Paso Doble

American Smooth including Waltz, V-Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot

Rhythm including Rumba, Cha Cha and East Coast Swing.

I am open to other dance styles as well if my partner has a favorite I have not listed.

I would prefer someone who wants to be dedicated to a partnership with me but I am willing to train/practice with anyone in my area while they search for their dream-partner :). So send me an email if that's you.

I dance Standard, Latin, and Smooth, and I'm looking for a partner to practice with a few times a week so we can grow together. My goal is to compete in Amateur Novice, Pre-Championship, and Championship categories. I’ve been dancing Standard and Latin for almost three years, am deeply passionate about ballroom, and am highly dedicated to private training.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

Ballroom dancing started as a covid hobby and I would like to get better at it. I danced ballet and tap when I was younger and take dance seriously. My ballroom favorites are rumba and east coast swing but I am proficient in many others. I also recently re-started with ballet and tap dancing, mostly to help keep flexible and nimble but also because it is fun and keeps me moving when no partners are available. I compete at the bronze level in local competitions and am strongly motivated to keep getting better.

Maybe a wee rusty in a few styles, but I'm working out the kinks. My three favorite dance styles are still WCS, NC2, and Argentine Tango, which I can integregate into a fusion and delectably paint the floor. During the pandemic, I substituted dance with yoga. My balancing skills have improved and I'm ready to get it going with a special partner.

I have been dancing tango for several years. Occasionally I dance salsa and bachata.

Swing dancing drew me into ballroom dancing.

I’ve had lessons at social dances and some group at Pacific Ballroom Dance.

Looking to have private lessons to improve. Dancing for fun now but if I get that much better may consider competing if my partner wanted to.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I just realized a year ago that I love to COUNTRY dance—plain and simple. Give me good country music, a dance floor, and the right company, and I’m in my element. 🤠 I’m always ready to two-step, spin around the floor, and stay out for “just one more song.” Looking for someone who loves music, knows how to have a good time, and ready to be my dance buddy!

I’ve been dancing socially since high school, and have gone through waves of greater and lesser participation in my life. I’m interested in dancing more frequently now that I have a little more time on my hands, but that still would only be once a week for now. I’m most proficient at contra, with some classes and social experience in ballroom, swing, tango, and salsa.
