I recently retired from competing at the Championship level in International Standard, but would like to continue dancing for fun and exercise.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

Been practicing Latin dances for a little over a year and would like to move from beginner to intermediate/ advanced.

I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. My interest is purely in social dancing (classes and events) rather than competitions or performing. If that matches your outlook, I'd love to hear from you.

I started dancing in 2022 and progressed quickly into teaching and then professional dancing. I’ve competed and been a finalist in multiple rising star standard competitions. I teach and live in Long Island, New York under Fred Astaire Manhasset. I have completed all NDCA Bronze level teaching examinations and all Bronze and below FADS examinations.

Although my lifestyle doesn't lend itself to competing on a serious level, I have competed in national championships here in Ireland with high placing on the podium :-)

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I LOVE to dance! Started way back when I caught Disco fever and have never stopped. I've danced most styles (especially love old style Latin music). I am relatively new to the Toronto area. Looking for a practice partner who has successful Latin American competition experience.

I am slim, very committed, rhythmical, hard working, athletic and non-smoking. I weigh in at 160lbs, 5ft 7in (170cm). I am a passionate Latin American competition dancer. Latin coaches over the last few years have included the Douglasses, Truemans, and Jake Davies with occasional sessions with Ian Waite, Hannes Emrich and Andrew Cuerden/Hanna Haarala. In my last 18 months in England I trained with Mark Lunn (London) and Andrzej Mialkowski (Northampton). Since moving to Toronto, now train at Ol-Si dance sport with Oleg Yedlin, Valentin Kolesnikov, and Antoaneta Popova.

I started competing in LA in March 08 and competed successfully during most of 2008 and 2009 and were easily within the Top 12 in the Senior Latin English chart. During 2010 I took a break from competitions and eased my way back in during late October for a few comps before the British National. In January 2011 I won the Senior Pre-Am Latin (Champions of Tomorrow) at Blackpool, and in June 2011, Stars of The Future, confirming that I am the top Senior Pre Champ in the UK, and making the quarter finals of the British National and Top 60 in the British Open.

Besides all that, I am a keen social dancer and frequent the usual places from time to time. Happy to work with a professional or amateur, and happy to perform/demonstrate and possibly compete at Pre Champ/Champ level.

My first foundation in dance is ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied for about 11 years in these dance disciplines as well as a few others. I performed often, and over the years also choreographed my own dance performance numbers. I have some theater training and experience, which I also feel helps me whenever I'm dancing for an audience.

When I was in college I finally got to try partner dancing for the first time and loved it! It was easy for me to pick up. I started with an introduction to Social Ballroom dancing at The Ballroom of Sacramento. Simultaneously, I took classes in East Coast swing there. I would go frequently to the Saturday night dances and I picked up the Hustle just by following a good lead. Some time after that I took lessons in Argentine Tango at Tango By the River in Sacramento. During this time I was also very active going to the Friday night event in Sacramento known as Midtown Stomp. There I picked up Lindy Hop; again without any lessons, just following good leads. I eventually tried West Coast Swing and immediately I was hooked!

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. I have performed 4 of these showcases at competitions as well as competed in the Am level in smooth, rhythm, and latin. I have come to love dancing both competitively and socially. Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I'm a natural mover and my lifelong work in music informs many different kinds of dance, especially Latin. I've danced Salsa for years, competed in Swing during college years, was on a Bachata dance troupe several years back, and have recently discovered Blues Fusion. I'd say my favorite dance style at the present time is Bachata but am always open to learning new sensual dance forms. I'm in it for the connection and joy, not for performing at this time. High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

After I retired from the entertainment industry, I finally had time to pursue my other passion of dance. I went to a social and started in West Coast Swing lessons. I work privately with a world WCS champion for the past year and continue my group WCS lessons weekly. We have done showcases and pro-ams. Love WCS! Also started learning all social ballroom dances with privates and groups. I have learned most and still learning. I recently started learning all the country dances with my private instructor and am continuing. I lesson weekly in all of the dances and dance 4-5 nights a week. I am obsessed with partner dancing now and wanting to connect with more dancers and socials. When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers 💃🕺

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions. Starting at the regional level at first, I made a rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned 10 Dance Champions of Poland U18 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

I'm a professional musician and a natural mover / dancer. As for dance training, I began lessons as a child (tap, modern), during college joined a ballroom dance team (competed in Swing) and later as a young adult traveled to West Africa, Brazil, Europe and India to study their various cultural music and dance forms. For the past ten years I've been dancing salsa and bachata, blues fusion, micro fusion and other styles. Dancing is what makes me feel most alive! I would love to learn Tango next.

Whilst I enjoy dancing socially (Tea dances, Dinner dances), I particularly enjoy practising in order to improve on technique as well as learning new steps. I rate myself to be at intermediate level in Ballroom & Latin and I also dance the more common Sequence dances; I would just LOVE to learn the Argentine Tango!

Recently, due to no longer having a regular local Ballroom dance partner, I started attending Senior Ballet and Tap Dancing classes, as well as periodically attending a Scottish Country Dancing group - just in order to be dancing; I have found immense enjoyment in these forms of dance. Through dancing, my appreciation and enjoyment of music has also developed and widened.

I have always loved dance. Started by dancing rock n roll with my parents when I was a kid. Did ballet and tap as a teenager. I have always been musical and dance is an extension of that. If dances don't open up again soon, I'll have forgotten everything which is not that bad as I enjoy dance classes. Dancing is a great way to socialize and a terrific way to spend a night out but if I don't keep dancing I lose the steps- both ballroom and Latin. Ballroom tango was my favourite except I don't remember any of it!

When the clave and beats met her precisely at every turn, every spin,every twirl, and every movement no audition was necessary. The melody of the music and her movements became so intertwined that a new form of beauty came to light as she danced. Salserabonafida was as beautiful as she was graceful; and so graceful she was indeed. La SalseraBonafida connected with her partner and immediately sensed the message he was trying to deliver. She gregariously followed his every lead; but it was not a lead in the traditional sense, but rather a rumble, a love affair, a rendevouz,a party, a seperation, and a coming together. Her movements were so sexy, so elegant, so athletic,so majestic, so wonderful,so flashy, so graceful,so smooth, and so innocent that I had to ask myself where is my SalseraBonafida?...Where is my SalseraBonafida?

10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 88, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s. As I mentioned, my wife has dementia. She knows me; she sleeps sometimes 20 hours a day or more and rarely leaves our apartment. She has suggested that I find a new dance partner.

I've been ballroom dancing for about 11 years now, first doing pro-am competition, and more recently competing at the amateur level (in International Latin). At the pro-am level, I've competed in the Latin, Rhythm, and American Smooth styles. I did fairly well competitively, especially with Latin and Rhythm, and have won a fair number of scholarships in some of the larger competitions. On the amateur side, I competed at the pre-champ and open levels in Latin. My partner and I won the pre-champ division in our age level, and then made the final in open Latin at the USA Dance national championships in 2010. Prior to ballroom, I spent about 18 years doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I love everything there is about dance--I think it's part of my soul, and who I am. I want to keep growing and improving in this sport/art, but most of all, I want to have fun doing that!

I've been told I'm a talented dancer. I hope that's true (I'm always full of doubts, of course!), but I know I'm a hard worker, very devoted to dancing, and I'll work my butt off getting reading for a competition or performance. I've had coaching from some of the best in the business, and I'll be forever grateful for the insight, support, and advice these wonderful coaches have given me.

Professionally, I'm a scientist, and have my own business doing consulting work in the biotech world. I'm pretty athletic, I run a lot (and used to compete in running too), lift weights, and do yoga regularly. I'm also a pretty serious mountain climber. I've climbed both in the United States and in South America in the Andes, and I hope to climb Mt. McKinley in Alaska in the very near future (it's on my Bucket List!) I also have what I think is a pretty unique hobby--once I summit a mountain, I do a little dance on the top. I think it's quite possible that I hold the world record for a high altitude samba (20,700 feet on Chimborazo in Ecuador). If you know anyone who's done the samba at a higher elevation than that, I don't want to hear about it.

Oh yeah, I also love dogs and have a great Labrador retriever named Newton. He is truly the best dog on the planet.

Danced on and off for 20+ years. Mostly absent last 8 years. Would like to get back into dancing and interested in learning many of the patters for each type of dance. I am patient and considerate, always a gentleman and respectful of others.

I/'m an avid social ballroom dancer with both american and international styles under my belt. I also have done argentine tango, hustle and wcs for over 10 years. Dancing is for fun, my styling is very good but I prefer not to compete as it becomes work. There is nothing better than good partner connection.

I really enjoy partner dancing. Since 2020 have gotten a bit rusty, would like to get back to some regular practice sessions and social dances. I have taken some private lessons, but generally go to group classes.. Some of my favorite dances are East Coast Swing, ChaCha, Rumba, waltz, foxtrot (definitely need to get the rust off this one). I am open to learning new dances ... if it is dancing it is fun :-)

I have been country dancing, 2-step & line dancing for over 30 years. I have taken a few swing dance lessons. Places I dance at are Montana's, Cowboy Palace, Borderline events, The Ranch, wineries in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Oxnard.

Competed while in University. Looking to continue to dance socially with good dancers.

Have been dancing professionally in the past, did win the German Championship in Ballroom Standard as well as German and World Championship in Ballroom Formation Standard. Have done my trainer licenses in 10-dance. I have had a 8y break now and would like to go back to it - so my skills are a bit rusty, but I am fit and have been going to the gym 4-5 times per week. Ideally I would like to return and do Show-Dance or would love to compete in Salsa and prepare to dance Championships internationally.

Processing a recent loss, taking life one step at a time, not quite back to dating yet, although will soon.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally. I like attending dances at least twice per month, and sometimes life gets in the way of more ... lol ... sometimes.

Regarding the 1 hour of practice four per week listed on my profile, that is at least 2 group lessons, 1 private, and 1 practice at a minimum. I've competed and performed, open to such again, and open to taking lessons together, yet flexible on all of those.

Enjoy being affectionate, conversational, and playful, while good with both staying in or going out. Like spending time with family, cooking, growing a relationship, my business, and flowers and veggies too. With the latter, I could use a better green thumb. ; )

Will travel a distance to date. Good with vacations inside my region and beyond, there are many places that could be exciting to see. Also enjoy painting, reading, writing, and interested in sharing cultures, cuisines, films, museums, music, and theater.
