My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

My goals are to compete nationally and locally for international standard style. Open to international competitions. I practice 2-3 hours for 2-3 days (flexible) and have about 1 private lesson per week (flexible, could be more near competitions), near San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain view, Stanford. I could do Latin silver level, but for fun or socials only and not thinking to compete in Latin.

I am just about to take Argentine dance lessons (January 2026). I hope to be able to have the opportunity to dance outside of classes.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel wherever to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. Presently, I am focusing on Ballroom and West Coast Swing. I have taken WCS lessons with Danielle Blouin and Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay. I still love salsa and hustle though, and am open to A. Tango, but I can't just do A. Tango, I need variety.

Being an former gymnast and yoga teacher, I have quite a bit of flexibility and strength. I would enjoy doing aerial, lifts, and dips. Just after our "At the Hop" performance in Gulfport, FL. A regular in the audience mistook me for an 18 year old. LOL I have fun! I love to perform, but don't have to compete (theater arts is appropriate). I like the hard stuff.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

A good old social dancer that has been around for a while.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

I think I would describe myself as a happy go lucky person with no particular hang ups. I have a part time job that I love to do as it's very social. It is involved with tea dancers and through this I have discovered a new passion and hobby for dancing. Have done Ballroom, Latin and Sequence for about 3yrs including a few private lessons in Ballroom and Latin, plus had loads of help from an excellent lady dancer/friend who really took time out to help me with the technical side of heel turns, double reverse spins, and other more advanced moves. Also had a go at Ceroc and Rock n Roll and like them all to be honest. Tango, salsa and west coast swing all look really great so am open to trying any kind of dance really. It would be nice to meet someone to share this passion with, rather than looking for romance at this moment in time, although you never can rule that out when meeting different people. I'm told I'm a quick learner and a natural dancer and wouldn't mind someone who could help me improve my dancing and take me to a better level but it's not the most important thing. I have been dancing Argentine Tango for about 6 years. I came from a ballroom background, tried Argentine Tango on a whim and found it difficult, challenging, and frustrating. However, I kept being drawn back to tango until I finally gave into it. When I first started tango I remember someone telling me that it takes a lifetime to learn. I thought that sounded silly. Well after maybe 12 years I have drifted from country to Latin dancing. Finding a partner doesn't seem as important in Latin as the Latin community seems to be more social and I often get asked to dance. Well after maybe 12 years I have drifted from country to Latin dancing. Finding a partner doesn't seem as important in Latin as the Latin community seems to be more social and I often get asked to dance. I'd still love to have a lady friend to call on to hit any one of the Latin clubs on some regular basis. I really like Bachata but taking lessons for Salsa as well.

I started dancing a few years ago it's become a big part of my life. My favorite dances are the bachata and Foxtrot.

Have done ballroom since teens, gold medals but lots forgotten ! regularly Jive and West Coast swing now, and

have private lessons in Ballroom and Latin , as have no partner. Have attempted Argentine Tango, but think i need a very patient partner, or is it just difficult ????

I have competed in Standard and Latin in both Pro-Am and Amateur categories in the last 10 years. However I have recently been competing in the amateur category at Novice to Pre-championship level in Standard only since my partner does not dance Latin. I am a very natural and well-trained dancer in various dance styles, and I am very dedicated to practice and lessons. I believe that I can do better in competitions with the right partner who is also dedicated and determined. I would still like to continue to compete in Standard, but I am also happy to compete in Latin.

I've had over 40 years of ballet, some modern, jazz, and tap. Now I've been into ballroom for the last 11 years and loving it!

Looking for someone who is willing to practice 4hrs a day 5days a week or more. Wanting to compete internationally as well as nationally. Goal is to make finales at the competitions we attend.

I started taking lessons ten years ago (social rumba and social foxtrot) in preparation for my sister's wedding and I never stopped! I now try to take at least two lessons a week. My teacher used to compete in International Ten Dance so that's what I'm learning now, with some other dances (hustle, salsa, swing, etc.) thrown into the mix as well once in a while. I'm doing gold steps in many of the dances, but I feel I would have much more confidence in my dancing if I had a steady dance partner with whom I could take lessons and practice. Though I wish I could be the type of dancer who could dance with anybody, all I really want is to be able to dance well with one person. Competing once in a while could be fun too with the right partner.
