I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. My interest is purely in social dancing (classes and events) rather than competitions or performing. If that matches your outlook, I'd love to hear from you.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

Dance, like life, is all about STYLE (i.e., presentation). While Jitterbug is an appreciated dance of fun, the preferred is the mix of dances found in an Amore, Pittsburgh Ballroom or Orchard Hill Dance.

I have a lot of experience (years) with Lindy Hop and Salsa, but I’m still a beginner with Ballroom. Lately, I've been focusing on Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. I performed my first Waltz last year (2025) and this year I’m going to perform a Foxtrot with one of my teachers. I intend to perform Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz in the future. Maybe a Cha Cha, too. We’ll see. I come from a background as a musician.

Hey, for the purposes of meeting on here you can call me TMT, the natural red-headed firecracker! LOL! OK, if you're still reading, this is a good sign. One of my friends says I'm not funny, but I can really make myself laugh 😁 I try as much as I can in life to always be positive. In dancing I'm serious about learning, easy-going as a partner, and start from the attitude of "Let's have fun dancing together!"

My first foundation in dance is ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied for about 11 years in these dance disciplines as well as a few others. I performed often, and over the years also choreographed my own dance performance numbers. I have some theater training and experience, which I also feel helps me whenever I'm dancing for an audience.

When I was in college I finally got to try partner dancing for the first time and loved it! It was easy for me to pick up. I started with an introduction to Social Ballroom dancing at The Ballroom of Sacramento. Simultaneously, I took classes in East Coast swing there. I would go frequently to the Saturday night dances and I picked up the Hustle just by following a good lead. Some time after that I took lessons in Argentine Tango at Tango By the River in Sacramento. During this time I was also very active going to the Friday night event in Sacramento known as Midtown Stomp. There I picked up Lindy Hop; again without any lessons, just following good leads. I eventually tried West Coast Swing and immediately I was hooked!

When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers 💃🕺

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions. Starting at the regional level at first, I made a rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned 10 Dance Champions of Poland U18 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

Have done showcases and competed ONCE. At this time, I prefer just "social" dancing, without the stress of performing or competing.

I am a beginner dancer. I have been practicing standard and latin dance since November 2025 at the Optimus dance club in Zagreb, Croatia. I am trained by renowned coach who is also a WDSF adjudicator.

In addition to my university diploma, I have also completed elementary school for classical music.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Dancing gets into your blood. I have a solid lead, strong but gentle. Currently, my favorites are: progressive 2 step, hustle, swing, waltz and foxtrot. Over the years Ive tried to learn a little about a lot and can dance to most styles. Im kicking around the idea of competing for fun.

I began dancing when I was 17 years old. I quickly found that I had a passion for ballroom and shortly thereafter joined the competitive circuit. For four years I competed in ballroom dance collegiately for Purdue University and then UNC – Chapel Hill. My love for ballroom continued to grow during my time competing. I took every opportunity I could to dance which shortly led me into a professional teaching position. After years of intense studying, competing, training, and coaching, I now teach over 30 different styles of dance.

During my years of competitive and professional ballroom dance experience, I began to realize that dance, more than being entertaining, is an incredibly powerful form of expression. Dance allows you to feel things about yourself and about the world around you that you may have never experienced before. It allows you to express yourself in a genuine, meaningful way simple words just can't.

Perhaps most importantly, I have come to realize that dance is a medium through which you can release stress, anger, frustration, sadness, turmoil, uncertainty, and depression, along with many other emotions. Dance encourages you to understand yourself, to acknowledge and engage with your emotions, and find healing to grow past longstanding obstacles.

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

I love dancing to live music. I want to learn more Lindy Hop moves- I already know the basics. I haven’t had lessons but I’d like to try some acrobatic dancing .But, I love all kinds of music.I go out dancing Friday, Saturday, , Sunday, and sometimes Tuesday ., sometimes for 6 hours at a time . I am a slim, attractive brunette who is lively and outgoing with a bubbly personality. I have been dancing for six years - mainly LeRoc but have also done the Salsa and some ballroom. I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. I like competitions. I'm currently competing senior 10 dance but I miss doing smooth. I live in Phoenix, AZ and cannot relocate, but I have successfully made long distance work and have the means to fly out over a weekend consistently.

I'm an amateur ballet dancer, beginner-intermediate level. I have been taking ballet classes for 2 or 3 years. I go to a dance school twice a week. It's great fun. I like to practice at home, using Youtube videos. I would like to find an on line partner to practice with.

I stared dancing at 18 when I took my first dance class as in college. I had no idea it would be so fun. I ended up dancing all through college and was even in Ballet company for a few years I previously had a handful of Ballroom. Swing, and salsa classes over the years and Always wanted to do more partner dancing so I'm open to pretty much any style. I recently picked up Country dancing and am most interested in country dancing.

Starred Latin and Ballroom dance at the age of 11 stopped at the age of 16. I have always had a passion for dancing and come alive when I'm dancing with music I almost merge with the music. Love dancing with a strong lead male. Love Latin samba and cha cha I've returned to dance at the ago of 34 with I interest in actually competing for the first time with a suitable well matched partner. Would like to train share dance lessons to further improve practice and most of all have fun 😊

I now go 4 times a week learning cross body and Cuban salsa.

I'm also learning Bachata, kizomba and zouk as well.

I would love to get to a high standard and perform and open my own club 1 day.

Dancing ballet for the past two years, recently started private ballroom lessons. Novice in both. Favorite dances are waltz and American Tango. Have natural rhythm and timing, but those steps can get challenging.

Started Oct 24. Using my free time to dance (at least 3 times a week). Focus is on international Latin. Had my first comp as student-student in Jun 26.

Dedicated and enjoy the learning process as I seek continuous improvement in dancing. Happy to put the effort in to becoming the best I can be. And I sure understand how much effort is required. Maybe a bit addicted to dancing. At present I mainly do international standard but open to other dance styles. I am happy to travel for tryout.
