My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

The styles of dancing I have done are mostly Rock 'n' Roll and Swing. Have done ballroom in the past and enjoyed ballroom very much but did not have a partner to continue ballroom with so I stopped. I have two great passions in life: literature and dance. To me, dance is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling and self-expression. I value having a strong partnership both on and off the floor: someone I can work hard with, laugh with, grow with, and genuinely connect to through movement.

I’m goofy and love to joke around at times during practice, but I also take dancing seriously and care deeply about improving. I thrive on constructive feedback, love the process of refining technique, and approach dance with a strong growth mindset. As I’m a school teacher, I’m naturally curious, reflective, and always eager to learn.

I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

My favorite dance is salsa which is what I have the most experience in. I took classes for a couple of years and I take various workshops when I can. I also like other Latin dances such as cha cha and bachata in that order. I know those dances a little but not as much as I know salsa. I'm also open to learning other dances. Besides dancing, I work out 3-4 days a week work 40 hrs and try to enjoy as much free time as possible. For hobbies, I'm into home automation and electronics. I like to travel when I can and I do enjoy watching tv and movies at home and at the theater. I'm also open to trying/doing new things.

I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. I have performed 4 of these showcases at competitions as well as competed in the Am level in smooth, rhythm, and latin. I have come to love dancing both competitively and socially. I am 5’ 10” tall a none smoker and a few pounds over weight not a lot and i am working on removing them. Willing to travel. with a good sense of humor. High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. By trade I am an electrical engineer. I started dancing at 15 years ago. I am a pro dancer in hustle only. I'm still an amateur in the other dances.

I received instructor training in salsa and hustle. My instructor training was overseen by the following coaches: Ramiro Gonzalez, Angel Figueroa, Tybalt & Hazel Ulrich, Katie Marlow, and Shay Dixon.

As far as ballroom goes, I am most proficient in american style. I go ballroom dancing socially about 2 times a week. I would love to compete some day should I find a partner to do so with, though I would need more formal training in ballroom to clean up some technique.

I also love west coast swing, and found that swing out was also very interesting.

As far as doing performances, I use to do that all the time but I am not a member of any performance team currently. I was one of the founding members of Mambo Dallas when I was located there, and a member of the LA Hustle Movement.

I am an advanced dancer in Ballroom, Salsa and Argentine tango. My focus is Argentine Tango. I have been dancing Tango for eight years and teaching for four. I have studied extensively in Argentina and with the best dancers in the world.

Well I gave myself until mid Jan 2016 and we are nearly there so this profile is history soon.

I love Argentine Tango and want to become a really good lead and recognise, after 1 year of classes & dancing, that having a dance partner to train with on a regular basis would help me become better much quicker than my current trajectory of classes. In return you'd have a Dance Partner to call on, we could improve together and hopefully have loads of fun plus lovely dances together on the way too.

I've found a great teacher near to where I live and am attending classes twice a week and am now looking for somewhere in London to train and dance too.

I am a 3 Time US National Senior 1 and Senior 2 Latin Champion looking for ambitious, committed lead. I’ve enjoyed being in Top 20 in Senior Latin at Blackpool, several international and world championships. I have loved every moment of it.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin.
