I am a social Argentine Tango and Ballroom Dancer in search of a dance and life partner. I live in a great place, on the beach on the closest in Island of the Washington State San Juan's, but not too many ladies who want to dance come knocking at my door. I miss having a dance partner, having someone to practice with, go to dances, and go places and do other things with. My passion is Argentine Tango, am better than average Tanguero, take more advanced lessons and have been to thirty Tango Festivals. I also DJ Tango Milongas, with original 78rpm records, and sometimes Ballroom Dances, still keep the other dances fresh too. A few years ago, I spent three weeks in Buenos Aires in November, had a wonderful time, love to go back I truly enjoy the deserted beach in front of my house, having beach fires, shooting off fireworks, picking up beach glass and agates. Recently acquired a 1936 Taylor/Piper Cub (little yellow airplane) project, , going to restore it and go flying again. I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

It is difficult to find the right partner from reading only a bio. I am willing to travel to or part way to test out dancing together. Trying out dancing together along with conversation is, I believe, the only way to find the right dance partner. I trained for 14 years in ballet. Shortly after entering the pro division, covid arrived and we were sent home, as most were, to await further instruction. Know most of the standard dances that are taught at ballrooms, but not a strict 'Pattern' dancer. I'm an inventor by trade and carry that mentality to other things as well… which includes dancing. Been called an 'Intuitive' dancer, but being in tune with my partner is more how I see it. My general belief is a good lead does not need to push a lady through things, but guides. A little exception is some gals that have some physical issues, and I need to fill in the gap where needed. This happens most when I take cruises as Gentleman Host. When they feel like they've just danced as well as they did at an earlier time, it’s tremendously rewarding for me.

I have been actively dancing and competing for about 5 years now. I train in the International style Standard and Latin dances, although I do compete in the American styles too just for fun.

My strength lies in Latin; I currently dance in Gold but I'm hoping to quickly improve and move into Open very soon. I dance Silver-Gold Standard, and probably Gold for the American styles.

EDIT 9/28/15: Scratch that part about Standard for now. I just paired up with a Prechamp dancer. Guess I'm dancing Open Standard now! He'll be graduating in a year, so I'd still love to meet other Standard dancers since I might need a new partner in a year... although the proficiency level I'll be competing at, at that time, will depend on how this year goes :)

My other dance backgrounds include Chinese dance, some Hip Hop, and my first ballroom coach was more of a Modern/Jazz dancer... these varied training has helped me develop good movement quality. At the same time, I am the kind who will pore over the syllabus books and run drills over and over again to make sure I get my technique down right.

I used to dance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I also founded the ballroom team at Johns Hopkins University. I am currently dancing with the MIT team, since I recently moved to Boston :)

I have been dancing ballroom for 24 years. I am currently teaching at my friend’s studio. She is also my professional dance partner. I am fluent in American Smooth and Rhythm and have performed the Viennese Waltz, Quick Step, Waltz, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha-Cha, and Paso Doble at private and charity events in Baton Rouge and Dallas.

In addition to dancing, I am a talk show host, author, and inspirational speaker. I am a single professional gentleman. I believe authenticity, humility, and speaking from the heart are essential to making a real connection.

Gold level in International Standard and Silver-Gold in Latin. Currently taking lessons to advance.

Professional Ballroom and Latin dancer, artist, choreographer, instructor. He took his first steps at the age of 6 and during that time, he hasa got a wide experience such as education in National Ensemble of Ballroom and Latin dance in Ukraine and Universities of Culture and Art in Kiev, He competed professionally in National and International Dance Sport competitions, consistently achieving top rankings, performed in main stages of different countries all over the world and took a part of the huge television project "Maydans" were he was one of the main assistant of the choreographer for more than 200 people. He worked in Global Top dance studios overseas and together with his students he became a Pro-Am champions in more than 6 countries such as Italy, Russia, Malta etc.

Today, continues to work with numerous artists and dancers across the country and overseas. He has an extensive background in teaching at all levels, from beginners and wedding couples to professional dancers and award-winning artists.

I passionate about life in general. I like to dance and consider myself an advanced social dancer. I am open to dating as well. Hope you are the same way.

I started dancing at age four! I started couples dancing in college. Often dance several days a week.

I love to connect with partners that love dancing. I have socially danced for decades and have been told that I have a good, clear lead. I have dated a quality women dancers over the years, and I would like to find a life partner in the process that dances. First we dance and see where that leads.

Just want to find a dance partner for AT....lots of practice with lessons before and after and dances/Milongas....salsa, east coast, and free style for a change and variety. I am flexible in regard to partners plans and objectives. I just really like to dance and want to work at it big time.

Well after maybe 12 years I have drifted from country to Latin dancing. Finding a partner doesn't seem as important in Latin as the Latin community seems to be more social and I often get asked to dance. I'd still love to have a lady friend to call on to hit any one of the Latin clubs on some regular basis. I really like Bachata but taking lessons for Salsa as well.
