Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

I am a strong yet conscientious lead. Strong on technique.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 5 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

I'm looking for a partner who shares my passion for Lindy, Mambo and Blues music and dance.

I grew up dancing country/western pretty much in my younger years. I have kept my feet wet and I currently go out dancing learning new line dances and would love to meet someone that is a good leader. Dancing brings me so much joy! I love everything about it. Perfect hobby!

Most of my dance background is from way back in high school and college. I took ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop. I love Argentine Tango and want to become a really good lead and recognise, after 1 year of classes & dancing, that having a dance partner to train with on a regular basis would help me become better much quicker than my current trajectory of classes. I've found a great teacher near to where I live and am attending classes twice a week and am now looking for somewhere in London to train and dance too.

I dance at intermediate level, am looking for someone who, like me, enjoys dancing and getting better at it which keeps it interesting, my partner should already know lead basics OR really want to learn how including putting in a little time to make good muscle memories. I enjoy salon, milonga, and close embrace and slower as well as faster tango, valse, milonga and even nuevo tango music.

We could meet at a milonga or a classic class with Paul Parmentier in Henderson. I spend about $15 a lesson but will treat myself to lessons with super pro leads every now and then just for the wonder of the experience.

My favorite studio is Atomic Ballroom in California but milongas in town here can be satisfying too.

I've competed in American Smooth, danced a *lot* of salsa for a while (used to hold monthly dance parties), also studied WCS & AT, like to dance to live blues a lot. I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater throughout my childhood. I went to theater school. In my mid twenties I started dancing salsa in the clubs in LA and was hooked. I was going dancing at least 3 times a week for a few years. I continued to dance salsa when I could in San Francisco and New York, but not as often. For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. My motivation during recovery from surgery was to dance again. I went to a Salsa festival in October and it was a blast. I am ready!

Have done ballroom since teens, gold medals but lots forgotten ! regularly Jive and West Coast swing now, and

have private lessons in Ballroom and Latin , as have no partner. Have attempted Argentine Tango, but think i need a very patient partner, or is it just difficult ????

I love to dance! My favorite dance is West Coast Swing! Have danced freestyle all my life. As for the number of years of experience ballroom/swing dancing that's actually hard to say. Over the years I've followed and learned a lot of dances by just going out dancing. I took a college course in social dancing. Learn a lot...forgot a lot. :) I'm a fast learner who is motivated to have fun while doing the dance right.
