I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

I love to dance! I know how to two-step and enjoy the old-fashioned country swing. I’m not familiar with the differences between East Coast and West Coast Swing yet, but I’d love to learn.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. My interest is purely in social dancing (classes and events) rather than competitions or performing. If that matches your outlook, I'd love to hear from you.

Hello! I grew up training mainly in ballet, contemporary, lyrical/modern, and several folk dances. I started ballroom training about 3 years ago, but progressed quickly as I've made my way through BYU's intensive ballroom program. I've competed novice, pre-champ, and amateur international latin/ballroom, american rhythm, and american smooth. I also have some cabaret experience, and completed through gold bar medals exams with high gold. I can teach social dance as well. I absolutely LOVE everything about dancing, and it has been a huge form of healing in my life. Though I love all styles and am open to competing all of them, my favorite is definitely american smooth. I plan to compete professionally, and eventually open my own studio. I incorporate a lot of biomechanics, strength/weight training, cardio, boxing, and a variety of other movement into my training as a whole. I am very interested in dance and movement therapy, and plan to open my own studio someday that teaches dance in a healthy, supportive, encouraging, and healing way.

I started training again around 2018 and competed in the 2023 NDCA U.S. National Championships at the Sr. III level placing 3rd in Latin, 5th in Ballroom, and #1 in 10-Dance. I have been dancing for about 5 years and am looking for a partner to dance latin with. I dance mambo/on 2, on 1, and rueda salsa.

In 1996, I started ballroom and east coast swing while studying for bar. After a 5-year hiatus to focus on practicing law, I started salsa in 2002. A year later, I got back into ballroom and have since completed a teacher training program. I've ballroom danced on TV (enough to qualify for SAG), and I've done a number of amateur dance competitions (with hope to do more). I have danced completely around the world as a social dance host on a cruise line. On top of practicing law in Pasadena, I teach beginners how to dance and try to go social dancing at least 2-3 times a week. I'm all in!

I love dancing. It's in my blood. I love the feeling of gliding around the floor, regardless of style, feeling the music and trying to put that feeling into my dancing. Update: 2023 I am now competing in Scholarship and made my first trip to Blackpool in May of this year where we placed 3rd in the ProAm in International Standard Ballroom. It was an amazing experience and look forward to going back again next year.

Looking for an Amateur competition partner interested in competing, able to put in the practice time and travel. Focus at the moment is International Standard, followed by American Smooth and American Rhythm.

Once I started, I got hooked and fell in love with Ballroom. I study at Arthur Murray and attend private lessons 5x per week and various group classes. I also for fun go out dancing Ballroom, Salsa and Argentine Tango socially.

Like many things I have pursued in life, I work at it diligently to perfect techniques and form as I strive to do my best at anything I do. I entered ProAM and Amateur competitions and rapidly moved through from Newcomer, Associate Bronze and into Full Bronze, and now Silver and Gold divisions winning my events, Solos and All Arounds locally, at the Championships and over in Prague. I dance in all majors in American Smooth, Rhythm and Waltz and Quickstep in International Standard. I have some specialty dances as well including Argentine Tango.

I thoroughly enjoy learning new dances and figures, competing and dancing socially. While I work hard and dance like I mean it, I dance with all levels of partners when at events or social outings from complete beginners to Pros. Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. I have a lot of experience (years) with Lindy Hop and Salsa, but I’m still a beginner with Ballroom. Lately, I've been focusing on Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. I performed my first Waltz last year (2025) and this year I’m going to perform a Foxtrot with one of my teachers. I intend to perform Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz in the future. I started ballroom dancing in grad school, where I competed for three years on MIT ballroom team. I've grown to love dancing as a way to relax, work out, and connect with people. I kept with it when I moved to California in 2017, where I got involved in the social ballroom scene and took standard classes with Stephen and Debbie Cullip. Since moving back to Massachusetts with my family, I've kept up with dancing regularly as a hobby.

I want to compete in the amateur collegiate competitions in International Standard in and around the Boston area. I've been dancing for about 10 years, and focusing on standard almost exclusively for the last 4-5 years. I take weekly lessons in standard at a studio.

When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing 🕺💃 during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers.

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions, starting at the regional level 👫🏻🏆 I made rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned Champions of Poland in Ten Dance 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

I have been dancing for two years and going to a dance studio around 10 hours a week. I love ballroom dancing, smooth and swing, although I dance some of the Latin dances as well I have recently been at a South Florida dance competition where I was awarded first price for a solo dance with one of my instructors and several other awards for American Walt and tango, foxtrot and vienesse waltz. It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I am slim, very committed, rhythmical, hard working, athletic and non-smoking. I weigh in at 160lbs, 5ft 7in (170cm). I am a passionate Latin American competition dancer. Latin coaches over the last few years have included the Douglasses, Truemans, and Jake Davies with occasional sessions with Ian Waite, Hannes Emrich and Andrew Cuerden/Hanna Haarala. In my last 18 months in England I trained with Mark Lunn (London) and Andrzej Mialkowski (Northampton). Since moving to Toronto, now train at Ol-Si dance sport with Oleg Yedlin, Valentin Kolesnikov, and Antoaneta Popova.

I started competing in LA in March 08 and competed successfully during most of 2008 and 2009 and were easily within the Top 12 in the Senior Latin English chart. During 2010 I took a break from competitions and eased my way back in during late October for a few comps before the British National. In January 2011 I won the Senior Pre-Am Latin (Champions of Tomorrow) at Blackpool, and in June 2011, Stars of The Future, confirming that I am the top Senior Pre Champ in the UK, and making the quarter finals of the British National and Top 60 in the British Open.

Besides all that, I am a keen social dancer and frequent the usual places from time to time. Happy to work with a professional or amateur, and happy to perform/demonstrate and possibly compete at Pre Champ/Champ level.

Among many of my interests in arts, I love dancing because of the music, particularly the Latin musics. I have been considered as a nature, smooth dancer and good follower.

Would like to find out how often is too often to dance. Its kind of like flowers or roses - how often is too often to get them and how many is too many? Well, I just don't know, but would sure like the chance to find out. I have gone beyond being a beginner and love dancing with upper experienced dancers because I know that will make me so much better. I have become so passionate and I might even have to say driven at the this point about being just as good as what I see on Dancing with the Stars and am convinced that I can pull it off. Current focus is salsa (on1) and bachata (fusion/sensual, plus some traditional footwork), where I'm an honest intermediate actively training my way out: regular private lessons, solo drilling between sessions on timing, turns, and body movement, video review, and one to two socials a week. I treat improvement as deliberate practice rather than social mileage, and I keep the schedules I commit to. Long-term goal is strong social proficiency across Salsa, Bachata, Latin and ballroom floors, with a performance team possible down the line. Competition isn't a goal, one a year at most, for fun, and only if my partner wants it.

I started salsa for a laugh 6 years ago and ended up loving it :)

I now go 4 times a week learning cross body and Cuban salsa.

I'm also learning Bachata, kizomba and zouk as well.

I am former competitive pro dancer with strong professional ballroom and ballet background. Over the years I won many first places in national competitions as amateur in Europe in International Standard and Latin as well as ballet and cabaret competitions.

Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... I’ve been dancing ballroom and Latin for about 8 years but just started learning American Smooth for a few months.

I began ballroom dancing about 15 years ago and consider myself a solid bronze-level dancer, although I’m comfortable following a more advanced lead. I haven’t focused heavily on advancing through additional levels simply because finding a compatible dance partner in my area who can confidently lead at my current level has been challenging.

That’s what brought me here! I would love to meet a dance partner who, like me, truly enjoys ballroom dancing and would like to have someone to share it with. While I would be very comfortable dancing with someone more advanced, I’m equally open to a partner who is less experienced than I am. Skill level is not nearly as important to me as having a good connection, enjoying our time on the dance floor, and being willing to learn and improve together.

I’m a good follower, enjoy learning, and would be happy to continue developing my skills alongside the right partner. Most of all, I miss the enjoyment and connection that comes from dancing with someone who loves it as much as I do.
