Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

I discovered ballroom dancing in 2016, and knew it was for me. Began my dance study (if you will) in group classes and then added private lessons. Early in 2018, I focused on Smooth and in recent months, I added more of the Rhythm dances. I continue to work on and improve my following skills in both group and private lessons.

It seems it requires practice, practice, practice... and then sometimes, I just gotta relax, laugh at myself, and just enjoy moving around the floor. You know, and actually enjoy the music and dance.

I have studied salsa for about 6 months taking private lessons. I need to practice more so if you are around my level and want to practice too let me know. My wife is learning too but doesn't like practicing as much so I need a dance partner.

I danced a bit of hip hop growing up and was always surrounded by dancers. But it wasnt till 5 years ago that a friend showed me a basic rumba step and i was hooked i have been dancing on and off since then.

I had the privilege of performing this year and loved it. My goal in the next 2 years is to get paid to perform on stage and for that i need to practice. I love fusion partner dance and im particularly drawn to to micro movements of kisomba and the footwork of salsa. Of this list i am most experienced in bachata salsa and kisomba. I would love to set a goal with you and work towards it

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

I am a newer professional. I was have been dancing ballroom for roughly 6 years, of those 6 years I have been dancing professionally for one year (in march 2025). Prior to dancing ballroom I was in a theater group for roughly 15 years and participated in theater in high school and college. I was also a member of the Yellow Rose Cloggers of Ohio for roughly 3 years. I enjoy dancing American Rhythm and Theater Arts. As a an amateur dancer I was a finalist in American rhythm championships and scholarships as well as a national and regional winner in the Novelty category for solos and showcases. As a professional I have been a finalist in Mixed Novice as well as a Mixed Novice winner. Recently competed in the VIC National completion in American Smooth and Rhythm as well as Pre-Champ. So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. I am <1 year into ballroom dancing. I want to continue learning and dancing for as long as I am able and interested. I am learning a little bit of multiple dances at the moment, mainly focusing on Latin but I am interested in Waltz and other dances too. Honestly just want to dance more.

Dancing is one of my favorite activities. Mom says I have happy feet, and have to dance on the beat. I was born on April fools and it seems I look at life through joyful eyes

I'm former professor that is semi-retired but still very active pursuing a lot of interesting endeavors. Dancing is one of these. I also work some as a fitness trainer. I would like to brush up on a lot of my dances and take a few lessons. I'm in excellent physical, emotional and mental shape and use dancing as a means to this end.

Started swing dancing in my teens in home town Yo.O. That started my love of dance.

I have danced ceroc for over 20 years mainly just social but have competed in a few local competitions. Have just started ballroom and have also dappled in swing for about 6 months

I take group classes and private lessons at the Fred Astaire dance studio in Frederick, MD. My focus is on the core 6 dances in closed competitions. I came in 3rd place in my first regional competition and am in progress training for my first international closed competition.
