My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I've had over 40 years of ballet, some modern, jazz, and tap. Now I've been into ballroom for the last 11 years and loving it!

Dancing invigorates, impassions, and absorbs me. I can't get enough of it. I would practice everyday, all day long, but unfortunately I have to have an income. :)

Presently, I am focusing on Ballroom and West Coast Swing. I have taken WCS lessons with Danielle Blouin and Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay. I still love salsa and hustle though, and am open to A. Tango, but I can't just do A. Tango, I need variety.

Being an former gymnast and yoga teacher, I have quite a bit of flexibility and strength. I would enjoy doing aerial, lifts, and dips. Just after our "At the Hop" performance in Gulfport, FL. A regular in the audience mistook me for an 18 year old. LOL I have fun! I love to perform, but don't have to compete (theater arts is appropriate). I like the hard stuff.

On the personal side, I am a vegetarian and am into healthy eating and healthy living. I also love music, art, architecture, theater, swimming, walks on the beach, and out in nature.

I’m just starting to explore the world of movement and expression through dance. My background is fairly minimal—I didn’t grow up dancing, but I’ve always admired it from afar. What drew me in initially was how dance combines athleticism with emotion, storytelling, and music in a way that feels incredibly freeing.

Right now, I'm focused on building a strong foundation. I’ve been taking beginner-level classes in styles like hip-hop and contemporary, trying to get comfortable with rhythm, coordination, and basic technique. I'm also dabbling in ballet and jazz to strengthen my posture, flexibility, and body awareness.

My main interest lies in learning how to connect more deeply with music and express emotions through movement. I love watching choreography that tells a story or evokes a strong feeling, and I hope to one day choreograph my own pieces, even if it’s just for myself.

As for training, I’m taking group classes at a local studio and supplementing that with online tutorials and freestyle practice at home. I’m also trying to improve my strength and flexibility through stretching and light conditioning.

My short-term goals are to gain confidence in my movements, improve my musicality, and develop a better understanding of how my body moves. Long-term, I’d love to perform in a showcase, collaborate with other dancers, and maybe even teach beginners one day—helping others who are just starting out, like me.

Overall, I’m excited by the journey, even though it can be challenging at times. Dance is pushing me out of my comfort zone, and that’s exactly why I love it.

I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am pretty athletic and fit. I love to dance (perhaps obvious since I'm on this site). Taking lessons 2+ years with outstanding teachers. I've done only ballroom smooth and rhythm so far. Am loving all of it. I have gone to some socials which are fun. But would really love a great practice partner. Have been taking at least 4 lessons a week for awhile but would like to get more practice and maybe compete at amateur level.

So far, I have competed with a TBA partner for all my competitions, but I have placed in silver once at a mock competition. I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. For 5 yrs from 99' to 03' I was on a performance CW & Swing dance team and we performed around the greater Seattle area. In 2000 I competed as an amateur in UCWDC for 1 yr. I would enjoy meeting a gentleman who is looking for a social dance partner, practice partner, dance partner to take lessons with, and if he'd like to compete I'm open to doing so.

I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

I started teaching in July 2021 and I have DVIDA Bronze certifications in Smooth, Rhythm, Standard & Latin and DVIDA Silver Standard & Gold Standard

Currently studying for my Dance Vision teaching certification in the most gorgeous dance studio I've ever seen. (Did you know Dance Vision has some studio franchises in Texas?) Shaking the rust off after a 10-year hiatus from dancing.

I'm all about technique, and would rather do a few figures well than many figures poorly. I've been dancing and teaching since 1993, some Silver American Smooth and Rhythm, some International Standard and Latin. Studied under Russell Monk, Fred Dunn, Rickey Geiger, Ludwig Dahlberg, and Craig Bukowski, among others.

I've hit the road full-time in my vintage Shasta LoFlyte. I had planned to be in New England for the summer but with this crazy weather, I have to admit, I'm kind of scared to travel that far. I may have to tough it out in Dallas, Texas, for the summer.

I'm a non-smoking, non-drinking, vegan Christian. Sound like a barrel of laughs, huh? ;-) I really am very funny; well, at least I think I am...I also have a cat and a not-so-friendly dog, something people with severe allergies need to know. I'm willing to relocate for the right opportunity.

I love to follow a man’s lead wherever he takes me and I enjoy all the dances and various styles. I like to go out social dancing for exercise and fun.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

Socially, charity balls, etc. I'm no stranger to white tie in Vienna, etc.

I have been dancing Argentine Tango for about 6 years. I came from a ballroom background, tried Argentine Tango on a whim and found it difficult, challenging, and frustrating. However, I kept being drawn back to tango until I finally gave into it. When I first started tango I remember someone telling me that it takes a lifetime to learn. I thought that sounded silly. But now, the longer I dance tango, the truer that statement becomes. The more I learn in tango, the more I see that I have so much more to learn.

Since one of my moms was a ballroom dance instructor, I have been a part-time ballroom dance instructor and performer for over 27 years. I had also taught at my friend’s studio as she was my professional dance partner. I am fluent in American Smooth and Rhythm, and have performed the Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Waltz, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha-Cha, and Paso Doble at private, business, and charity events in Baton Rouge and Dallas.

In addition to dancing, I am a talk show host, a multi-award-winning and bestselling author, and an experiential keynote speaker. I am a single professional gentleman. I believe that authenticity, humility, and speaking from the heart are essential to forming a genuine connection.

I have always been moved by beautiful lyrics with expressive words complemented by a lovely melody. Regardless of when a song or piece of music is released, it will always be evergreen to me if it touches my heart and moves my soul. One of my all-time favorites is “What The World Needs Now,” released in 1965 by Jackie DeShannon. As a rhythmic dancer, I hope that one day I can perform with my Earth Angel Lady to this beautiful Waltz.

Hi, I'm 46 years old and took up ballroom dancing 11 years ago. I enjoy dancing and have advanced to a high level. I'm proficient in Latin and Ballroom. I'm very fun loving and like to have a laugh but at the same time I am very focused and willing to work hard. Would love to find a dance partner I can train with. Due to health issues and then lockdown I have not danced properly for a few years. So I don’t mind if you’re proficient or just starting out. We are all finding our feet again!!

What can I say, dancing is my passion. When I am not dancing I am dreaming about dancing! West Coast Swing is my favorite, but country 2-step & line dancing are a close 2nd. I'm currently teaching WCS, and country partner & line dances a couple times a month and hold a social dance once month. I also teach at the local country bar. Looking for a partner to level up with!
