I always loved dancing and now that I am semi-retired, I want to be really good at it. It's one of the l ways I can express my freedom, happiness and love of life. I am a newbie but I am very enthusiastic and a good learner.

I have been taking lessons for eight years. Typically two personal lessons and a group lesson or two per week. The pandemic changed up my schedule. My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

Learning club salsa for fun.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

Took ballroom lessons late 70's. Stuck with Latin Hustle (called syncopated hustle now), cha-cha, swing -- since that's what everyone danced in the clubs--prefer Euro music beats (disco/dance music); this music complements hustle. Rusty on the traditional ballroom so I've gone back to refresh. Dance for fun/social--not the competition (any more). As for my background: born in Italy, grew up in Elizabeth NJ, lived in Virginia and have been in Georgia for quite a few years.

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... 10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I'm just looking to learn and practice for fun with any age. Open to monthly Friday socials. My husband can't dance due to back pain and a shoulder injury. I'm beginner level salsa and interested in trying West Coast Swing.
