After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

Started dancing Ceroc, ballroom and Latin Nov 23 love it. I don't compete or do medals I just dance socially gor fun, and love lessons. I do a basic modern jive/Ceroc, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha lots of room for improvement and new steps. Still working on Tango and Samba. Want to continue learning and improving and learn different styles such as Salsa, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango etc anything really. Used to multiple partners in modern jive but only had one partner in ballroom.

I've got a fair amount of experience but I haven't gotten very far learning a lot of dance moves/patterns. Part of that is not having a consistent partner. It's somewhat pointless to take lessons and not be able to practice. My strength is my frame. I get a lot of compliments on that and also get compliments on how easy I am to follow. I socially danced ballroom at a beginning state years ago but gave it up over 25 years ago. started with ballroom as adult but fell in love so deeply, that I put dance as priority for the rest of my life. Later I discovered urban dance, Hip Hop, Socials and trained them. I’m looking for a lady to dance standard with. (Willing to dance other styles to round things out and have fun, but standard is my main focus on the competitive level) A good feel and fit with each other is more important than any level obtained or number of years danced. I take the dancing as a serious endeavor but keeping things light and fun is just as important to me. ( I have a great sense of humor and can be found laughing all the time, and usually at myself!!! I love the athletic artistry and beautiful strength of ballroom dance. My goal is to become the best dancer I possibly can and reach a high level of excellence as a professional Smooth or Nine Dance competitor. I have a strong work ethic and treat pro competition as part of my career. I have been dancing for about 17 years, teaching professionally for over 10 years, and I have 6 years of professional competition experience. My focus has been pro Smooth but I am open to Nine Dance as well. I am willing to travel for the right partner. Dance is a high priority for me so consistent practice and coaching are important. I want to work hard and have fun in the process.

I have been passionate about dance from a young age, starting my journey with [style, e.g., ballet, hip-hop, Bharatanatyam] at the age of [age]. Over the years, I have trained in various styles including [list styles], which has given me a strong foundation in rhythm, expression, and technique.

I learned International standard dance and international Latin dance from instructors for two years. Have dance ballroom and social for three years. Stop during Covid and would like to start again. I learned Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa.

I've taken lessons in west coast swing, argentine tango, ballroom (both international and American), Salsa and Bachata. I've done a little bit of Lindy Hop and Zouk.
