I’ve been dancing ballroom for nearly 20 years, and I still find myself drawn to the studio like it’s a second home. There’s something about the repetition, the refinement, the quiet focus—it’s where I feel most grounded.

Salsa, though, is where I breathe. It’s not just the rhythm or the movement—it’s the way it settles into your body and lets you speak without words. There’s a calm in it, even when the music is fast. A kind of joy that doesn’t need to be loud.

I dance for the connection. For the shared smiles, the spontaneous moments, the way a good lead or follow can turn a simple song into something unforgettable. Social dancing is where I come alive—not for the spotlight, but for the people and the pulse we create together.

I have been dancing socially for 10 years - contra, square, contra waltz, and occasionally other folk dances. I dance about once a month, and attend several weekend events per year with more advanced dances and workshops.

Hi, I'm 46 years old and took up ballroom dancing 11 years ago. I enjoy dancing and have advanced to a high level. I'm proficient in Latin and Ballroom. I'm very fun loving and like to have a laugh but at the same time I am very focused and willing to work hard. Would love to find a dance partner I can train with. Due to health issues and then lockdown I have not danced properly for a few years. So I don’t mind if you’re proficient or just starting out. We are all finding our feet again!!

What can I say, dancing is my passion. When I am not dancing I am dreaming about dancing! West Coast Swing is my favorite, but country 2-step & line dancing are a close 2nd. I'm currently teaching WCS, and country partner & line dances a couple times a month and hold a social dance once month. I also teach at the local country bar. Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

I’m looking for a partner to train, perform, and compete with. I practice 6 days a week. I spend half my week teaching at dance studio in Redwood City, half the week teaching in San Francisco. Looking for someone around my age with any level of experience.

Quiet, Funny, and Laid back describes me pretty well. I've been dancing about 3-4 years now. Mostly private lessons and some group classes, as well as Competing in the Country events, both AC and UCW circuits. Since I've been pretty lucky to have a practice partner for the first year and a half, I've been able to catch on to things pretty quickly and move up to the intermediately level for comps. The downside is I'm not a big social dancer so I don't have the connections or know the people in the local community to see if anyone is looking for a practice partner. Plus I've shaved the beard and cut my hair so no one recognizes me anyway. While I live in The Colony, I'm usually in the Addison area studio's.

I danced a bit of hip hop growing up and was always surrounded by dancers. But it wasnt till 5 years ago that a friend showed me a basic rumba step and i was hooked i have been dancing on and off since then.

I had the privilege of performing this year and loved it. My goal in the next 2 years is to get paid to perform on stage and for that i need to practice. I love fusion partner dance and im particularly drawn to to micro movements of kisomba and the footwork of salsa. Of this list i am most experienced in bachata salsa and kisomba. I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I love dancing of various kinds - most zouk, salsa, bachata , kizomba and their fusion.

As for me - young spirit, open mind, like travelling, wildlife. Patience, empathy are my strenghts, not only while dancing. Not big talker. Natural teacher. Not happy with sparkling dress. Not ordinary mix of introvert and extrovert.

It is not easy to find somebody who loves hard-work dance training. And without dance partner progress is usually very poor.
