I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

Hello! I have about 10 years experience in International Ballroom Dances (La, St) and I loved participating in competitions. Also I enjoy ballet dancing, reggeton, hustle, bachata and other social dancing - just for fun. I love to discover new dance styles and learn something new.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I've practiced Ballet for almost 15 years, then I discovered partner social dancing and I fell in love with it. I started with Salsa and Bachata, then Swing and finally ended up taking ballroom/dancesport training classes 4 years ago.

I have been competing in the US for 3 years now, and I have reached the gold level in collegiate.

I LOVE to dance! Started way back when I caught Disco fever and have never stopped. I've danced most styles (especially love old style Latin music). Over the years, I've evolved into more of a "feel" type dancer, meaning I dance from my gut and my heart, let the music get inside and then ooze out of me as it inspires my body movement.

Background in ballet. I have been learning International Latin, American Rhythm and Smooth for the last 3 years (competing for the last 2 years). I have coaches in Vancouver, BC - Dale Neale for American Smooth and Vlada and Alexey Karaulov for Latin. Goals are to compete in Canada and US NDCA/NDCC sanctioned events, at least 2 per year.

Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

I love dancing to live music. I want to learn more Lindy Hop moves- I already know the basics. I haven’t had lessons but I’d like to try some acrobatic dancing .But, I love all kinds of music.I go out dancing Friday, Saturday, , Sunday, and sometimes Tuesday ., sometimes for 6 hours at a time . I love R&B, hip-hop, jazz ,Irish music, cover bands are fun . I can also waltz and polka .I also take power walks every day, and do yoga weekly, in addition to dancing ( to stay in shape).

Grew up dancing in Russia. 10 dances. Currently competing in American Rhythm. But want to get back also to Standard. I own a successful dance studio in Atlanta so I can't relocate.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I began my dance journey at the age of 9, twirling through the rhythms until I turned 26. However, due to certain circumstances, I had to take a hiatus. Now, with the unwavering support of my family and the full sponsorship of my workplace, I'm eager to return to the dance floor. When there's music (and sometimes when there's not), my body is moving. I love to dance. Not much formal training but have been doing a variety of dances almost all my life. Not great at any but would like to take ballroom lessons with right partner to get really good and have fun. I have lots of energy and stamina. Can dance for hours. I'm told my age is deceiving because I look, act and feel at least 10 years younger.

2 years of lessons and social dancing in ballroom, Latin and hustle.

I have a lot of experience (years) with Lindy Hop and Salsa, but I’m still a beginner with Ballroom. Lately, I've been focusing on Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. I performed my first Waltz last year (2025) and this year I’m going to perform a Foxtrot with one of my teachers. I intend to perform Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz in the future. Maybe a Cha Cha, too. We’ll see. I come from a background as a musician.

I can waltz, cha cha, tango and quick step and very keen to learn more and improve.... strictly salsa is great but I really prefer bachata… it’s so much more fun and practically goes with any tune… so my inhouse walking tends to be bachata steps 😂 😂 crazy hah! 😂

I previously attended NLDA dance classes and attended Argentine Tango class. Now definitely looking for a compatible dance partner to practice and enjoy salsa/bachata anytime anywhere 😂 😂
