Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing. At socials I find it very difficult to get a partner for International dances. I am so happy when I get somebody for VW - which is my favorite dance. I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I used to dance many years ago and decided to return to the floor over this last year. I danced in the Medalist of the Year competition (IDTA) this year and made the national finals at Blackpool where I was placed 2nd in ballroom and 6th in Latin. I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I do alot of sports in the summer, namely boating, skating, and cycling.

i am looking for a special dance partner that would like to become one of the premier swing dances in Australia. It has been now over 3 years since i have done any serious dancing or coaching, and have decided it its time to get back in the game. I am looking for a swing/balboa/shag dancer or some one that is willing to learn and wants to break a few rules on the way, and put the passion back into the dances that used to be there, and not the sanatised version that every one is doing and being taught out there in swing land.

I am talking about going to the next level of dance, were you extract every bit of passion from the song and make it your own.
