Been practicing Latin dances for a little over a year and would like to move from beginner to intermediate/ advanced.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

Long story short, I've always enjoyed going out to clubs—and I still do. The difference is that I used to be the guy standing on the sidelines, watching everyone else dance and have an amazing time. After a while, I got tired of sitting on the sidelines and decided it was time to do something about it.

I signed up for dance classes, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I quickly discovered that social dancing is on a whole different level—it's more fun, more rewarding, and a great way to meet amazing people. Cheers to social dancing!

I'm currently training in Konpa, Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Salsa, and Bachata at EJ Dance Studio in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. My goal is to become highly skilled in Latin dance and eventually open my own dance studio, where I can help others experience the same confidence and joy that dancing has brought into my life.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

When there's music (and sometimes when there's not), my body is moving. I love to dance. Not much formal training but have been doing a variety of dances almost all my life. Not great at any but would like to take ballroom lessons with right partner to get really good and have fun. I have lots of energy and stamina. Can dance for hours. I'm told my age is deceiving because I look, act and feel at least 10 years younger.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

I have been dancing competitive ballroom from 1991 until 2006 and reached the Sen.I A-level at Standard in Germany!

I have also been working as a licenced dance coach (holding the German Trainer B-Licence) teaching courses of social dancers in ballroom, latin, mambo, disco-hustle, argentine tango, and others, for many years! I have also been teaching competitive dance couples at lower classes in ballroom (German Standard). People say, that I am a kind and social person. They also say, that my physical appearance is younger, than my age actually is.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. Happy to try other styles of dance too.

I have no dance background, inspired to dance recently and want to push myself and practice as much as I can. I am a little hard on myself but easy to work with others. I have thought about competing but it’s not something that I’m focused on. Sadly my schedule is a little tight. I work Sunday- Friday. Only available Saturday all day and every other day 8am to 1pm.

Professional hard worker who has just found West Coast Swing. Country Western is also fun. Favorite music is blues, CW and southern rock like ZZ tops and Doobie Brothers.

Enjoy ballroom both American and International. Favorite dances are foxtrot, rumba, bolero, cha cha, tango, Viennese waltz, quickstep, country 2-step, hustle, salsa & bachata.

I like to travel and also enjoy swimming and boating, skiing, art galleries and watching football games.

Several years of dancing experience in Europe during teen years both in St and La dances. Having a great desire to get back to Standard dances after a longer break.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

With thirteen years of dance experience, I truly enjoy social dancing and I'm proficient in most ballroom dances.
