I’ve been dancing ballroom for nearly 20 years, and I still find myself drawn to the studio like it’s a second home. There’s something about the repetition, the refinement, the quiet focus—it’s where I feel most grounded.

Salsa, though, is where I breathe. It’s not just the rhythm or the movement—it’s the way it settles into your body and lets you speak without words. There’s a calm in it, even when the music is fast. A kind of joy that doesn’t need to be loud.

I dance for the connection. For the shared smiles, the spontaneous moments, the way a good lead or follow can turn a simple song into something unforgettable. Social dancing is where I come alive—not for the spotlight, but for the people and the pulse we create together.

I consider myself as a gifted natural dancer where music comes into my blood since the moment I saw the world. Even if my parents have sent me to school to complete my bachelors degree and landed a good job on such degree , still my entire body senses, toes, legs, hands and the entire system yearn for that feeling of engaging into the rhythm of the music. My world is music. My life is music. When I dance, I feel that I get to express the genuine purpose and aim of why I was born. It is about the passion of my dance. When I move to the dance steps and perform before the audience and compete among the numerous fantastic dancers, I feel so much the joy and achievement. I am ready to live my passion. To live the life of an artist. To live the life of an athlete. And I want to achieve more. I will never stop. I will chase on my dreams. I will become big someday with the right partner. I am hoping to share this dream by finding him through this site. Hopefully. God willing.

I like to live every day fully with quality lifestyle, recreation, friends. I am positive and open to new experiences and new places to explore. I am semi-retired, have a flexible schedule and would love to do more dance practice and social dancing at this time in my life.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom/Latin trained, over many years. Most recently was performing and competing on the West Coast in American Smooth and Rhythm, Theater Arts, and Jazz as part of a company. Absolutely adore all kinds of partner dancing and am at my best when I'm dancing regularly and continuously learning. :) Just moved to southern NH (easy drive to Boston) and really hoping to find nice, fun people to dance with socially and maybe for shows/competitions.

Hustle, Freestyle, Love 70's and 80's...

I have been dancing Blues Fusion for about 5 years and during that time have learned West Coast Swing, Zouk, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. I am primarily interested in practicing leading socially as opposed to choreography.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I have been dancing Argentine Tango for about 6 years. I came from a ballroom background, tried Argentine Tango on a whim and found it difficult, challenging, and frustrating. However, I kept being drawn back to tango until I finally gave into it. When I first started tango I remember someone telling me that it takes a lifetime to learn. I thought that sounded silly. But now, the longer I dance tango, the truer that statement becomes. The more I learn in tango, the more I see that I have so much more to learn.
