Hi,I used to study at King's College London, where I was heavily involved in their dance society, and once choreographed a ballroom piece for their annual dance show.

Unlike most guys, I started ballroom dancing not to meet girls, but to learn to dance! I do both International Ballroom and International Latin, but seem to be having more success on the Latin side of things.

Having competed for 3 years as novice on the university dancesport circuit, I wish to move to the Intermediate category with a good dance partner. Within a year of doing ballroom dancing, I also took up salsa. A year later, I also branched into a few other dance types, such as jazz and hip-hop. As such, I am pretty comfortable with either working at choreography or freestyling.

County Western - 2 step: I consider myself intermediate; desire to learn and work on some new moves and turns.

West Coast Swing: I consider myself a beginner and just need practice to get the footwork ingrained.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I danced a bit of hip hop growing up and was always surrounded by dancers. But it wasnt till 5 years ago that a friend showed me a basic rumba step and i was hooked i have been dancing on and off since then.

I had the privilege of performing this year and loved it. My goal in the next 2 years is to get paid to perform on stage and for that i need to practice. I love fusion partner dance and im particularly drawn to to micro movements of kisomba and the footwork of salsa. Of this list i am most experienced in bachata salsa and kisomba. I am taking private and group lessons in smooth and latin dances.I've been dancing for 5 years, socially; not in competitions.

I previously danced and competed for 10 years. After a 15-year break, I returned to the dance floor 8 months ago.

I have been dancing almost 10 years. While I like all Ballroom/Latin dances my current favorites are: West Coast Swing, Salsa, Shag, Country and Night Club Two Steps. I dance at least 3-4 times a week and try to squeeze a lesson in during that time. I enjoy the exercise and the freedom you get during that 3 to 3-1/2 minutes. We have a chance to become a different person. Depending on the dance/song/partner it can be very sexy.

I am strictly a social/fun dancer. Competition type dancing is definitely not me. Even though I like to have fun, I am always looking to improve when I can. The attraction to dance is the variety and the chance to take it anywhere you want to go with it.
