Beginner to Intermediate Ballroom dancing - especially like the Hustle!

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I am a pro in progress and training advertising for the right partner for pro competitions nationally and internationally. 5' 6" in high heels, approximately 168 cm. Standard dancer more than ten years. Trained with Paul Holmes, Igor Litvinov, Igor Gayenko, Charlotte Jorgensen and many other top coaches.

i am looking for a special dance partner that would like to become one of the premier swing dances in Australia. It has been now over 3 years since i have done any serious dancing or coaching, and have decided it its time to get back in the game. I am looking for a swing/balboa/shag dancer or some one that is willing to learn and wants to break a few rules on the way, and put the passion back into the dances that used to be there, and not the sanatised version that every one is doing and being taught out there in swing land.

I am talking about going to the next level of dance, were you extract every bit of passion from the song and make it your own.

I loveto dance; and watch

all the old hollywood musicals, also love to sing, sinatra, broadway etc.

I do alot of sports in the summer, namely boating, skating, and cycling.

I attend many outdoor venues, to dance concerts, etc;

I love to travel, cookout, and attend some high level parties, when possible;

I want to meet someone, who is into all these things, plus the gym, and is a big kid like me, that loves to explore life, and new adventures

I have been professionally training dance since 2002, and I also give dance classrooms for Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Latin and Salsa dances.

Some college ballroom experience in mid 2000s. Some group lessons in 2010, '12, parts of 2018 to Spring 2021 ... just restarted again with local weekly standard & latin group classes July 2025. Due to off/on breaks and lack of partner, consider myself perpetual beginner.

Because I have strong interest in ballroom/latin music with a catalog of nearly every Casa Musica, Dancelife, Klaus Hallen, Ross Mitchell, etc. album produced until 2010, I'm trying to transfer my passion from this music to devoting more time to dancing itself.

I've been learning/practicing mambo/salsa for about 2 years and take classes and/or go out social dancing 2-4 times a week. Recently I started Casino de Rueda at the UofM/Ann Arbor on Monday nights. I'm a high level dancer looking for someone to practice with. There level is not of high importance to me so long as there willing to put the time in.I enjoy all the dances,but my favorites are salsa,bolero,hustle,bachata ,waltz ,Tango and cha cha

By trade I am an electrical engineer. I started dancing at 15 years ago. I am a pro dancer in hustle only. I'm still an amateur in the other dances.

I received instructor training in salsa and hustle. My instructor training was overseen by the following coaches: Ramiro Gonzalez, Angel Figueroa, Tybalt & Hazel Ulrich, Katie Marlow, and Shay Dixon.

As far as ballroom goes, I am most proficient in american style. I go ballroom dancing socially about 2 times a week. I would love to compete some day should I find a partner to do so with, though I would need more formal training in ballroom to clean up some technique.

I also love west coast swing, and found that swing out was also very interesting.

As far as doing performances, I use to do that all the time but I am not a member of any performance team currently. I was one of the founding members of Mambo Dallas when I was located there, and a member of the LA Hustle Movement.

I am an advanced dancer in Ballroom, Salsa and Argentine tango. My focus is Argentine Tango. I have been dancing Tango for eight years and teaching for four. I have studied extensively in Argentina and with the best dancers in the world.

Well I gave myself until mid Jan 2016 and we are nearly there so this profile is history soon.

I love Argentine Tango and want to become a really good lead and recognise, after 1 year of classes & dancing, that having a dance partner to train with on a regular basis would help me become better much quicker than my current trajectory of classes. In return you'd have a Dance Partner to call on, we could improve together and hopefully have loads of fun plus lovely dances together on the way too.

I've found a great teacher near to where I live and am attending classes twice a week and am now looking for somewhere in London to train and dance too.
