i was born to dance...have the agility and limberness and musicality...the music dictates the movement for me..don't super impose steps over the music..love the relationship between the dancer and the music..love that moment when a piece of music will make you do a move you never have before..that is a trill..i dance with abandon but strive to be smooth..need a versatile partner with a strong lead as i've done a lot of free style dancing...and really can let go and get creative dancing to live music on my own...have studyied jazz and lived in manhatten and into jazz...if i found a partner with chemistry that would be wonderful...like zorba i don't just dance when happy...i'm also a very visual person and have style and accent the dance with the line of what i wear...looking to forward to making the "dance" connection

I've been dancing for approximately 6 years. I love Ballroom and Latin but I also go to Ceroc and modern jive events for a workout ??. Back in 1999, I started taking ballroom dancing lessons, for about 6 years. Unfortunately, I had some rough years in my life and I couldn't continue, at least with private lessons (I continued to attend parties and group classes occasionally. However, I started taking lessons again about a year ago and have been since. My favorite dances are east coast swing, lindy hop, hustle, as well as others like the salsa, mambo, merengue, cha-cha, waltz, tango. Lately, I'm learning more about the west coast swing, and have found a secondary dance teacher for the Lindy Hop where I take private lessons from her.

I have always wanted to learn several different types of dancing. My partners have never been interesred. If you would like to learn with me and we could be amateur partners together, great! Or if you are skilled already then super fabulous, now teach me please! I would make an excellent student! I am kind and fun!

Enjoy ballroom both American and International, hustle, EC & WC swing, country two-step, and salsa. Favorite dances are foxtrot, rumba, bolero, cha cha, NC-2, tango, Viennese waltz, quickstep, country 2-step, hustle, ECS, salsa & bachata.

Through some difficult and painful life lessons I am preparing to be better at life as a whole and I feel like a champion when I practice dancing(even though I haven't arrived at any medals, etc. yet). My desires are to learn to love all people, to get up after falling and hopefully learn from those experience(s) and finally to improve on the best I can be, while hopefully learning to listen to the genuine wisdom of others to blend with my own to build a better life.

To keep it short I have many interests and yes, I am willing to adapt to new ones within reason....except hard rock and heavy rap music. I am generally a quiet guy but in the right atmosphere can be quite lively and entertaining.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am learning not just to enjoy events, outings, just being quiet, fun times, etc..........but, the most important point is that I am learning to treasure each moment that I am with that special someone and not take time and life and her for granted. ...... .... There is a saying that I learned sometime ago: "The only moment that we have is the moment that we are in" so, "What existed a moment ago has gone" and "will we be here in a moment from now?" Have you ever heard of the song "Love is a wonderful thing" an upbeat song sung by Michael Bolton? Love can be a super wonderful thing!...unless things get messed up then, it's very painful until healing takes place and all is sorted out.....Just some deep thoughts I wanted to share and hopefully help you out. I had also taught at my friend’s studio as she was my professional dance partner. I am fluent in American Smooth and Rhythm, and have performed the Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Waltz, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha-Cha, and Paso Doble at private, business, and charity events in Baton Rouge and Dallas.

In addition to dancing, I am a talk show host, a multi-award-winning and bestselling author, and an experiential keynote speaker. I am a single professional gentleman. I believe that authenticity, humility, and speaking from the heart are essential to forming a genuine connection.

I have always been moved by beautiful lyrics with expressive words complemented by a lovely melody. Regardless of when a song or piece of music is released, it will always be evergreen to me if it touches my heart and moves my soul. One of my all-time favorites is “What The World Needs Now,” released in 1965 by Jackie DeShannon. As a rhythmic dancer, I hope that one day I can perform with my Earth Angel Lady to this beautiful Waltz.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

I am a beginner looking to learn a range of dance styles - ballroom and Latin - and have fun learning.

I am happily married - but my wife isn’t interested in dancing, hence the search for a dance partner.

I’ve attended several new beginners courses in different countries over the years, but then couldn’t continue for various reasons. Now I’m hoping to make it work.

Update: I have moved to Florida.

I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.
