Rhythm Skater turned Salsero/Bachatero. After a decade of skating, I have found my true passion on the dance floor. I have been learning Salsa and Bachata for 6 months through socials and private lessons, and I practice at home 1 to 2 hours 4 to 5 days a week. Even though I am a beginner, I am motivated to train in hopes to dance Salsa at a competitive level. I aim to also become proficient in other dance styles like East coast swing, West coast swing, and Waltz.

I'm an amaterur dancer, who would like a partner to learn , improve, and practice with. I'm open to the possibility of performing and competing.

I started taking ballroom dance a year ago and WCS since January both group classes and private. I also enjoy line dancing and have been in a weekly, local class for over a year. I would like to find someone to practice with socially and possibly, join in my private classes.

I like to live every day fully with quality lifestyle, recreation, friends. I am positive and open to new experiences and new places to explore. I am semi-retired, have a flexible schedule and would love to do more dance practice and social dancing at this time in my life.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

Dancing gets into your blood. I have a solid lead, strong but gentle. Currently, my favorites are: progressive 2 step, hustle, swing, waltz and foxtrot. Over the years Ive tried to learn a little about a lot and can dance to most styles. Im kicking around the idea of competing for fun.

I love to dance. I'm a fair dancer but definitely want to improve the forms I know and am certainly open to leaning new dances. I enjoy going to festivals and workshops and toy with the idea of competing - probably UCWDC. Elsewhere in my life, I enjoy a wide variety of activities and am eclectic in my talents. Dancing fills me up! I love to dance in almost any environment. I have a background in ballet, jazz, modern, etc. I discovered ballroom dance in my 30’s and have been hooked ever since.

Middle eastern danced 14 years ago and have some previous dance experience in salsa & hustle. Started ballroom dancing 2 years ago.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I am a 20-year-old university student from Japan moving to Brussels in August. I have been dedicated to ballroom dancing for 2.5

years, and it has become my greatest passion.

Interestingly, I also belong to in competitive ballroom Dance (Contemporary) club at my university. This background gives me a deep understanding of body mechanics, balance, and core strength, which I actively apply to my ballroom technique. My training in Japan has been quite rigorous, focusing on the fundamentals of International Standard.

My goal in Brussels is to continue my training, join the local dance community, and perhaps even prepare for local competitions or social events. I want to keep improving my technique while enjoying the international atmosphere of the Belgian dance scene.

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.
