I've been dancing for quite a few years wish my ability could be of a higher standard, but to be truthful it's been so difficult finding a local partner over the years with so many gaps.

So don't be put off by the years I've been dancing, I'm probably more nervous then you.

I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect, and I am looking for a dedicated partner to train and compete in Amateur Closed Silver Standard Level.

I recently competed at the Ohio Star Ball in November 2025, where I placed 5th in the Pro/Am Standard Closed Silver Scholarship (W, T, FT). My next major goal is the Constitution State Dancesport Championships in October 2026. While I plan to dance Pro/Am there, but I am also highly motivated to compete in the Am/Am division as well.

In the past, I competed with my amateur partner on the collegiate dancesport circuit and the Autumn Classic in San Francisco for about two years. At that time, I was trained under Anton Koukareko in California for approximately eight years.

Mainly require partner for social dancing but open to do competitions with the right partner. Social dancing, basic to intermediate. Prefere the energy of rockabilly and rock n roll, but would like to improve on lindy and modern jive as these are my weakest dances. Open to do more ballroom and latin.

Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

I haven’t had any formal training but love it. I also dance Cumbia and Metengue ( which weren’t on the list). I’ve been told I’m good. I don’t do it for competition but it’s in my soul. Only people who love dancing will understand lol

I started dancing a few years ago it's become a big part of my life. My favorite dances are the bachata and Foxtrot.

I loveto dance; and watch

all the old hollywood musicals, also love to sing, sinatra, broadway etc.

I do alot of sports in the summer, namely boating, skating, and cycling.

I attend many outdoor venues, to dance concerts, etc;

I love to travel, cookout, and attend some high level parties, when possible;

I want to meet someone, who is into all these things, plus the gym, and is a big kid like me, that loves to explore life, and new adventures

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

Besides seeking a salsa partner I can grow with, I'm an energetic yet easy going professional. Fitness, healthy living and creativity(photography, music, dance) are integral to my lifestyle. I've been learning/practicing mambo/salsa for about 2 years and take classes and/or go out social dancing 2-4 times a week. Recently I started Casino de Rueda at the UofM/Ann Arbor on Monday nights. Love to go to the local clubs in Ann Arbor and the Detroit area as well as the Monthly Yoruba Andabo salsa socials. Yeah, I'm hooked. I also have a limited amount of swing experience and am hoping to start Argentine tango in the fall. I would love to have a regular partner to practice all the cool stuff I have been learning.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I have two great passions in life: literature and dance. To me, dance is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling and self-expression. I value having a strong partnership both on and off the floor: someone I can work hard with, laugh with, grow with, and genuinely connect to through movement.

I’m goofy and love to joke around at times during practice, but I also take dancing seriously and care deeply about improving. I thrive on constructive feedback, love the process of refining technique, and approach dance with a strong growth mindset. As I’m a school teacher, I’m naturally curious, reflective, and always eager to learn.

I’ve been training consistently at a local ballroom studio for the past year and a half and currently compete at the full bronze level. My goal is to move into silver this summer, and I’m looking for a dedicated partner to practice and compete in American Smooth and Rhythm with. I also socially dance Salsa, Bachata, and West Coast Swing.

I have been country dancing, 2-step & line dancing for over 30 years. I have taken a few swing dance lessons. Places I dance at are Montana's, Cowboy Palace, Borderline events, The Ranch, wineries in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Oxnard.

I'm a joyful smiling person -have danced most of my life- DANCE adds some of the greatest joy to my life. I'm willing to dance any/every dance - and would enjoy doing so - about 2/ perhaps more nights per week.

Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

I am a strong yet conscientious lead. Strong on technique.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 5 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

I'm looking for a partner who shares my passion for Lindy, Mambo and Blues music and dance.

Intend to return to teaching and dance community organizing in the coming months.
