Hi, I'm 59 years old, approximately 5 ft 3. I like to keep fit, love Yoga and dancing. I would like to meet a male dancer for mainly Ballroom and Latin social dancing and lessons. I've been dancing for approximately 6 years. I love Ballroom and Latin but I also go to Ceroc and modern jive events for a workout ??. I enjoy learning new steps and always like to be the best that I can, but ultimately dancing must be fun. I live not far from Cambridge and Bury st Edmunds. A good old social dancer that has been around for a while.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

I think I would describe myself as a happy go lucky person with no particular hang ups. I have a part time job that I love to do as it's very social. It is involved with tea dancers and through this I have discovered a new passion and hobby for dancing. Have done Ballroom, Latin and Sequence for about 3yrs including a few private lessons in Ballroom and Latin, plus had loads of help from an excellent lady dancer/friend who really took time out to help me with the technical side of heel turns, double reverse spins, and other more advanced moves. Also had a go at Ceroc and Rock n Roll and like them all to be honest. Tango, salsa and west coast swing all look really great so am open to trying any kind of dance really. It would be nice to meet someone to share this passion with, rather than looking for romance at this moment in time, although you never can rule that out when meeting different people. I'm told I'm a quick learner and a natural dancer and wouldn't mind someone who could help me improve my dancing and take me to a better level but it's not the most important thing. Have spent most of my life working in the music business and retired from that in 2008 so my tastes in music are wide and varied, from easy listening, blues, soul and rock. Love watching live bands.

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

My dance journey began with a handful of independent lessons, including salsa and a selection of other styles that sparked my love for movement and rhythm. While these experiences gave me a strong foundation and confidence on the floor, I am eager to broaden my horizons. I dance Bachata, Country/Western, Kizomba, and Salsa. Bachata and Salsa give me flow and rhythm, Country/Western keeps my frame sharp, and Kizomba deepens connection. Training comes from socials, lessons, and practice. I’m interested in musicality, lead dance with follow, and building community through dance. My goals: refine technique, travel, and keep growing.”

I teach horseback riding and train horses for a living. My dancing is a way to get out of the dust and enjoy the music and socialize. I can't always get out to the group classes or dances and would love a regular partner to practice with or go out to dances with.
