When I was ten, I took my first steps into the world of ballroom dancing during a two-year after-school course. At twelve, I joined a professional dance studio, where I trained alongside other teenagers 💃🕺

After just a few months of regular and intensive training, my coach decided I was ready to enter my first ballroom dance competitions. Starting at the regional level at first, I made a rapid progress, constantly improving my technique and gaining confidence 🚀 📈 From then on, I almost always made it to the final 🏅🤝

After four years of dancing with the same partner, all the hard work finally paid off. We won a national competition in both Ballroom and Latin styles 🥇🏆 We were officially crowned 10 Dance Champions of Poland U18 👑 🇵🇱

Unfortunately, shortly after this incredible achievement, I had to give up the greatest passion of my life — ballroom dancing 💔 😥 It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

But even though I had to step away from the dance floor, ballroom dancing remains a huge part of who I am — and it always will 🕺💃 ✨

I'm a professional musician and a natural mover / dancer. As for dance training, I began lessons as a child (tap, modern), during college joined a ballroom dance team (competed in Swing) and later as a young adult traveled to West Africa, Brazil, Europe and India to study their various cultural music and dance forms. For the past ten years I've been dancing salsa and bachata, blues fusion, micro fusion and other styles. Dancing is what makes me feel most alive! I would love to learn Tango next.

Whilst I enjoy dancing socially (Tea dances, Dinner dances), I particularly enjoy practising in order to improve on technique as well as learning new steps. I rate myself to be at intermediate level in Ballroom & Latin and I also dance the more common Sequence dances; I would just LOVE to learn the Argentine Tango!

Recently, due to no longer having a regular local Ballroom dance partner, I started attending Senior Ballet and Tap Dancing classes, as well as periodically attending a Scottish Country Dancing group - just in order to be dancing; I have found immense enjoyment in these forms of dance. Through dancing, my appreciation and enjoyment of music has also developed and widened.

Whilst just a social dancer, I aim to dance to the very best of my ability, learn new things and to have fun!

I am told that I am a good follower, am light on my feet and have good timing.

I have always loved dance. Started by dancing rock n roll with my parents when I was a kid. Did ballet and tap as a teenager. Have never had a ballroom partner but have been dancing Salsa for a couple of years and regularly going to socials in Derby. Recently started going to West Coast Swing workshops and would love to find someone to train for Jack and Jill comps with.

I have always wanted to take dancing; but it's better with a partner. ideally learning and practicing so I can get out there on the dance floor at social events. who knows, maybe someday compete. we'll see

I've danced social and progressive foxtrot and waltz the most. I've danced E Coast Swing, a little rumba, American tango, and bits of others. My last partner posed away a few years ago and I would like to me partners to dance with, take lessons with. I am married but my wife has no interest in dance. She supports my enjoyment of it and would be happy if I found companions to share dance with.

I have always been musical and dance is an extension of that. If dances don't open up again soon, I'll have forgotten everything which is not that bad as I enjoy dance classes. Dancing is a great way to socialize and a terrific way to spend a night out but if I don't keep dancing I lose the steps- both ballroom and Latin. Ballroom tango was my favourite except I don't remember any of it!

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

Salserabonafida was as beautiful as she was graceful; and so graceful she was indeed. La SalseraBonafida connected with her partner and immediately sensed the message he was trying to deliver. 10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 88, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s. As I mentioned, my wife has dementia. She knows me; she sleeps sometimes 20 hours a day or more and rarely leaves our apartment. She has suggested that I find a new dance partner.

Hi, my name is Richard. I would like to find a dance partner that is 60's plus like myself. One that I could also date and maybe turn into a meaningful relationship. I am 6' tall, 170 lbs. at 10.1 % bodyfat. I love to dance. I have been social dancing for 30 years. My favorite music to dance to is Rockabilly, 50's Rock'n'Roll, and Traditional Country. One of my hobbies was skydiving (1800 jumps ). I have some real stories to tell about that. Also, I was into racing formula cars for 20 years. My passion is weightlifting. I enjoy having a great healthy body that I am very proud of. (see photos). I love to put on a bathing suit and walk in the surf at the beach. I would love to have a partner to do that with. A lady that is also in good shape and is proud of her body. I want to get out there and do things but not by myself. I am a kind and gentle person with so much love to give.

I've been ballroom dancing for about 11 years now, first doing pro-am competition, and more recently competing at the amateur level (in International Latin). At the pro-am level, I've competed in the Latin, Rhythm, and American Smooth styles. I did fairly well competitively, especially with Latin and Rhythm, and have won a fair number of scholarships in some of the larger competitions. On the amateur side, I competed at the pre-champ and open levels in Latin. My partner and I won the pre-champ division in our age level, and then made the final in open Latin at the USA Dance national championships in 2010. Prior to ballroom, I spent about 18 years doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I love everything there is about dance--I think it's part of my soul, and who I am. I want to keep growing and improving in this sport/art, but most of all, I want to have fun doing that!

I've been told I'm a talented dancer. I hope that's true (I'm always full of doubts, of course!), but I know I'm a hard worker, very devoted to dancing, and I'll work my butt off getting reading for a competition or performance. I've had coaching from some of the best in the business, and I'll be forever grateful for the insight, support, and advice these wonderful coaches have given me.

Professionally, I'm a scientist, and have my own business doing consulting work in the biotech world. I'm pretty athletic, I run a lot (and used to compete in running too), lift weights, and do yoga regularly. I'm also a pretty serious mountain climber. I've climbed both in the United States and in South America in the Andes, and I hope to climb Mt. McKinley in Alaska in the very near future (it's on my Bucket List!) I also have what I think is a pretty unique hobby--once I summit a mountain, I do a little dance on the top. I think it's quite possible that I hold the world record for a high altitude samba (20,700 feet on Chimborazo in Ecuador). If you know anyone who's done the samba at a higher elevation than that, I don't want to hear about it.

Oh yeah, I also love dogs and have a great Labrador retriever named Newton. He is truly the best dog on the planet.

Danced on and off for 20+ years. Mostly absent last 8 years. Would like to get back into dancing and interested in learning many of the patters for each type of dance. I am patient and considerate, always a gentleman and respectful of others.

I/'m an avid social ballroom dancer with both american and international styles under my belt. I also have done argentine tango, hustle and wcs for over 10 years. Dancing is for fun, my styling is very good but I prefer not to compete as it becomes work. There is nothing better than good partner connection.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. My interest is purely in social dancing (classes and events) rather than competitions or performing. If that matches your outlook, I'd love to hear from you.

I really enjoy partner dancing. Since 2020 have gotten a bit rusty, would like to get back to some regular practice sessions and social dances. I have taken some private lessons, but generally go to group classes.. Some of my favorite dances are East Coast Swing, ChaCha, Rumba, waltz, foxtrot (definitely need to get the rust off this one). I am open to learning new dances ... if it is dancing it is fun :-)

I have been country dancing, 2-step & line dancing for over 30 years. I have taken a few swing dance lessons. Places I dance at are Montana's, Cowboy Palace, Borderline events, The Ranch, wineries in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Oxnard.

Competed while in University. Looking to continue to dance socially with good dancers.

Have been dancing professionally in the past, did win the German Championship in Ballroom Standard as well as German and World Championship in Ballroom Formation Standard. Have done my trainer licenses in 10-dance. I have had a 8y break now and would like to go back to it - so my skills are a bit rusty, but I am fit and have been going to the gym 4-5 times per week. Ideally I would like to return and do Show-Dance or would love to compete in Salsa and prepare to dance Championships internationally.
