I am a beginner dancer. I have been practicing standard and latin dance since November 2025 at the Optimus dance club in Zagreb, Croatia. I am trained by renowned coach who is also a WDSF adjudicator.

In addition to my university diploma, I have also completed elementary school for classical music.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

I have always loved dance. Started by dancing rock n roll with my parents when I was a kid. Did ballet and tap as a teenager. Have never had a ballroom partner but have been dancing Salsa for a couple of years and regularly going to socials in Derby. I've been learning International Standard and Latin for about a year at a local studio. I have some training in other dance styles from several years back (jazz, tap, ballet). I'm interested in learning and improving as much as I can. I would like to work towards performing and competing.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I was a ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop dancer for almost 8 years. I started Latin ballroom dancing in October 2023. I have been Latin for 8 months. I want to practice every week all my Latin dancing routines. I have achieved up to silver level and I work extremely hard.
