Latin style dancing

I'm an amaterur dancer, who would like a partner to learn , improve, and practice with. I'm open to the possibility of performing and competing.

Extensive foundation in ballroom dance (training, performance, and competition). Former member of BYU Ballroom Team 1985-1989 (performance tours through Asia, US, and Europe including Blackpool and World Latin Formation Championships - 1989). Inrntl Standard training with Stephen & Elizabeth Cullip ('89-'94) and Kathryn Schaffer ('00-'03). Amateur Championship-level Standard competitions through 2003. I started training again around 2018 and competed in the 2023 NDCA U.S. National Championships at the Sr. III level placing 3rd in Latin, 5th in Ballroom, and #1 in 10-Dance. Social dancing since then. I also work out and stay in decent shape.

Looking for a practice partner in the Toronto (East) area who has successful Latin American competition experience.

I am athletic, very committed, rhythmical, hard-working, and non-smoking. I weigh in at 160lbs, 5ft 7in (170cm). I am a passionate Latin American competition dancer. In my last 18 months in England I trained with Mark Lunn (London) and Andrzej Mialkowski (Northampton). Since moving to Toronto, I have trained at Ol-Si dance sport with Oleg Yedlin, Valentin Kolesnikov, and Antoaneta Popova, and more recently with Milena Koraleva, as my pro partner.

I started competing in LA in March 08 and competed successfully during most of 2008/9 and were easily within the Top 12 in the Senior Latin English chart. During 2010 I took a break from competitions and eased my way back in during late October for a few comps before the British National. In January 2011 I won the Senior Pre-Am Latin (Champions of Tomorrow) at Blackpool, and in June 2011, Stars of The Future, confirming that I was the top Senior Pre Champ in the UK, and making the quarter finals of the British National and Top 60 in the British Open, and the final of the British National in 2012 before retiring from competitions.

Besides all that, I am a keen social dancer and frequent the usual places from time to time. Happy to work with a professional or amateur, and happy to perform/demonstrate and possibly compete at Pre-Champ/Champ level.

I've taken lessons in west coast swing, argentine tango, ballroom (both international and American), Salsa and Bachata. I've done a little bit of Lindy Hop and Zouk.

Grew up as a musician and reached a professional level at one point. Strong in musicality and generally talented as a dancer. I love latin dance, in particular Salsa and Bachata. I also love Swing. I studied salsa for several years in my 20s and again more recently for several years now but have never had a very serious dance partner. I would love to find a strong and dedicated dance partner and take it where it goes. I am 5'11", caucasian, mid-30s, single, well-dressed, with brown straight hair and an athletic build. I am told that I am good looking but IDK :). I am single and am therefore open to romance but it is not necessary. I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

Would love to find a dance partner. I am a very positive,outgoing person and enjoy many activities, however, I have to admit that dancing is at the top of the list. I was born and raised in Ireland and spent four years in Liverpool before coming to U.S. My son is 27 and now it is time for ME.

I used to know the basics in a wide variety of dances and I loved them all. I would love more opportunities for swing, salsa, waltz, tango, and polka.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

Hello, I am advertising as I would like to find a partner for ballroom dancing in Tallinn or Tartu. I'm 180 cm tall with some experience which comes from my ballroom practice classes as a kid. However, I like challenges and getting better, why not even taking part in competitions.

I've been dancing for quite a few years wish my ability could be of a higher standard, but to be truthful it's been so difficult finding a local partner over the years with so many gaps.

So don't be put off by the years I've been dancing, I'm probably more nervous then you.

I have private lessons 3 times a week, currently not going to social dance events as I don't have a partner I am taking this time to try to improve my technique. I have just taken up Ceroc in the last 2 months. I much prefer to dance with one dance partner. Im not keen on sequence dances but with the right person i would, i knew about 18 of the most popular ones. I have taken private and group lessons from a multitude of dance studios and instructors over the years. Years ago I competed, mostly within the Arthur Murray system. I have performed several showcases. I prefer social dancing to doing routines.

I am generally a very good lead and am currently dancing somewhere at between an advanced bronze and silver level. I have pretty good technique and could compete if I wanted to.

My wife likes dancing with her dance instructor and I enjoy dancing with other amateurs. Although we both ballroom dance, we have found that we are happier when we do it separately. I am happily married and am only looking for a dance partner.

Started in ballet as a child (5-12) then got into ballroom. Swing dance team at Ricks College, then Ballroom Dance Team at Utah State University, middle eastern dance club (belly dancing) and have done a variety of social dancing ever since.

I love salsa & bachata music and dancing socially! I grew up around great dancers and have good rhythm, but have not had enough practice to really get far past basic turns in salsa and bachata. My goals are to increase my skills and confidence when dancing so that whoever I am dancing with is not bored by the same few turns over and over.
