I am from newcastle NSW, have had the last 12 months or so less dancing and I need to get back to it, also need to get fit at the same time.

I am easy going and friendly, I still want dance to be fun and do some social dancing too. I like arts, (am a artist, painter, sign writer and enjoy a stimulating conversation. Dance is what i love and it should be fun as well as putting in the hard yards to achieve results. I'm not sure if I want to go back to competition, but definitely some social dancing.

Lindy hop is such a joyful dance. I love it and looking forward to getting better in it.

I’m from Puerto Rico and have been dancing salsa socially for most of my life. I’m not an expert but I am good at following. Dance is not my husband’s interest but he knows that I enjoy it and that I am interested in finding a dance partner for social dancing and practice.

I'm on the lookout for a dance partner to join me in the salsa partner work during my weekly dance classes on Sundays. I'm a beginner, but I'm passionate about dancing and eager to enhance my skills.

I currently take ballroom dance lessons, but want a partner committed to practicing together by going out to venues and events. Cha cha , American Tango and E C Swing are my favorites, but I know rhumba, salsa, waltz, foxtrot, Argentine tango, samba,

I have a passion for dancing, both standard ballroom venues and less formal ones, such as Moose and American legion. I am a creative person and really like to create steps from basic dance elements. Dancing to the lyrics rather than the beats is also fun for a change.

To sum up my personality: I own a tuxedo and a good pair of hiking boots and use both many times during the year.

I can find humor in even the most trying of circumstances.

I have never met a dancer I didn't like.

No one has more fun on the dance floor than me.

I'm an experienced country western dancer. I also dance ballroom and have attended numerous ballroom dance camps and have had quite a bit of training. I love hustle and energetic swing. My choice dances are Texas 2-step. triple-step / shuffle, waltzes and pattern dances like the El Paso, Schottische, Sidekick, etc. I'm learning WCS. I'm an old disco dancer but am rusty from disuse. My focus is fun rather than trying to impress others. I'm a competent leader and can and will adjust my dance style to fit my partner's desires. I'm widowed. I am tall and trim. I'm very healthy. I'm nice, kind, a good listener and presentable. I love to dress up. I've included some photos with dance partners because that's the photos that I have. I dance every week. I'm a member of several dance clubs. I am an energetic dancer and lead in a manner that suits my partner. I would seriously like to improve and expand my dancing.

I'm a very responsive follower. Easy to lead, never lacking in energy, in excellent shape, considerate, and usually smiling (unless I'm going for a passionate face during a tango...). Youthful background in ballet, belly dance, and salsa. As an adult, I've been training in Argentine tango, kizomba, bachata, salsa, and social ballroom for the past four years (usually 3-5x/week, 1-3hrs each day).

I have been interested in Ballroom Dance since '06, crap happened in early '07- and I was stricken from the scene for some time. I got back in the saddle finally, in '13. Have taken a few classes in the craft, and readily enjoy it. Dancing with the Stars, is probably my all time favorite show, I can't get enough of it. I want to be real good, maybe even so good that I am a pro on DWTS some day. I am fit, and more than ready to tackle such a conquest.

Lindy Hop, 6 count Swing, Hustle, Cha Cha

When I was a teenager I performed as a rock lead guitarist which gave me the idea that I like to perform. I left the rock band world to go to college. Today, I return to the world of music but now my interest is partner dancing. I am retired and travel to dance workshops like CITA in Buenos Aires, Tangomagia in Amsterdam, Dance Vision Dance Camp in Las Vegas, Boogie By The Bay in San Francisco, etc. I have been to Ball Season events, Fasching, in Vienna 3 times and love it. Especially great is the Elmayer Krantzen. I am also active in the California Art Deco Society and its dance events. I dance 2 hours per day, 5 days per week for practice and training and then do social dancing in the evening. I have been in one movie as a dance extra "Swing 2004," and some 8 Metronome Ballroom Showcases here in San Francisco where I dance with an instructor or group. I do exhibitions with dance partners in my home or at parties for friends.

Successful and dedicated International Standard competitive dancer. I've been competing in championship International Standard the past few years, and would like to continue competing at the highest level.

My interest for music and dancing started few years when my husband passed away and my girls were grown up. Not until I have retired, I got really serious about dancing (ballroom style). When I dance or exercise at the gym, music keeps me moving to a fantasy land. Having that effect, It must be the endorphins released in the brain that motivates me. I have been taking private lesson but not as much as I wanted.
