I'm spanish and I love to learn all that it is Salsa, it's my passion, in whatever style, whichever beat of the music (on1, on2..). I have been practising as much as I can since the beginning of last summer 2005 and I am a very committed dancer with attention to all details in the classes I attend. I come from a music background so timing won't b a problem and... oh yeah.. I now wish my background would be a professionaly trained dancer in other dance skills with 23 years of experience. lol :D. So I have no previous dancing experience, except for world/folk dancing that I did for a year (not really seriously tho) when I was really young. lol :). I am a 'stronger' lead in LA/NY than cuban style on1... but like I said earlier I'd be willing to learn other styles (including rueda/cuban wheel) and to dance it on other beats of the music. I also like bachata and merengue and I'd also be open to learn even other dances too even tho i'd b a complete beginner then.

I have been dancing since 1988. I have done American, and Intl style latin & Smooth. I done a lot of West Coast Swing.

Enjoyed dance from age 2. Ballet, jazz, tap, belly dancing. Family always did country/western. As an adult, loved swing, salsa and other Latin club dances, line dancing, hip hop, etc.

Single since 1985 (divorced). Dancing since childhood but became a serious student over 25 years ago. Presently I'm studying Argentine Tango and would enjoy continuing with West Coast Swing and International Standard. I've received training in International Standard (18 months) and West Coast Swing (2 years), however, without a committed dance partner I put a hold on lessons until I can find someone who is serious about learning. I'm new to Honolulu and would take up residence here if I had a serious committed partner.
