Learning to dance gives me a way to be more social and most people on some level equate being a good dancer with being more socially developed. I’m taking an online class, working fulltime and I am involved with the church. I don’t have the desire, time or money for romance or clubbing. I am gueiunely looking for a dance partner to train with. The gym I go to has a nice wood floor area that would be perfect for this. I know they allow it because I used the same gym to practice in, when I lived in Amarillo. There are camera’s everywhere, it’s in a nice area and a lot of cops work out there. I know how to do a “Two Step” and “ Waltz” I was working on learning Salsa and West Coast Swing when I moved to Albuquerque. I am also open to learning, “Bachata” I learned some steps over the weekend and enjoyed it. I want to have some moves by the summer, however I need a partner that wants to have some moves by the summer. If this interest you, get in touch with me. I am an active, fun, adventurous woman who has always had dancing in her blood. Earlier in my teenage, college, and graduate school years I was very involved studying, teaching and choreographing dance primarily ballet, modern, and jazz styles of dance. Now I am fortunate that I have discovered ballroom and Argentine Tango. Although I do and love many of the ballroom dances my passion is Argentine Tango. I have been involved in Argentine Tango for a number of years learning equally well both the lead (traditionally the man's role) and the follow (woman's role). I like dancing both roles. Knowing both has also been an asset in teaching Argentine Tango and in honing my ability to follow well any leader in any kind of ballroom dance.

I have been taking lessons for eight years. Typically two personal lessons and a group lesson or two per week. The pandemic changed up my schedule. I would like to consistently go out dancing socially, possibly competing at some point. I would love to find someone to practice with and go out social dancing.

Hi! I've only just discovered dance and I'm loving it! I have only taken a few classes so far, so I am as beginner as they get. I've been dancing different types of dances for all my life. Even bit of sports dances in childhood which was total disaster and I thought I'll never do it again. Nevertheless already several years I've rediscovered ballroom again and I like it because it's complicated and hard but there is sometimes such a feeling that is impossible to be obtained anywhere else. I'm training on daily basis because there is no use to do less. Participating in competitions from time to time. Having great trainers and having lots of laugh and fun especially in moments when I feel like I could bite them. Currently I'm in transition phase ... to something better:)
