My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

I have a basic grounding in ballroom and Latin and used to compete on the university dance circuit in the Novice category a few years back (predominantly in waltz, quickstep, cha cha, rumba, and jive). I have two years of experience and am looking to get back into dance. I'd love to find a partner to practice with a few times a week, mostly for fun rather than competitions (although I'm not averse to competing if the opportunity presents). I'd be happy to sign up to classes and then practice together outside of them.

I'm a natural mover and my lifelong work in music informs many different kinds of dance, especially Latin. I've danced Salsa for years, competed in Swing during college years, was on a Bachata dance troupe several years back, and have recently discovered Blues Fusion. I'd say my favorite dance style at the present time is Bachata but am always open to learning new sensual dance forms. I'm in it for the connection and joy, not for performing at this time. Would love to find a partner to develop the dance style with, and to have a companion for going to dance in new fun venues.

Experienced salsa dancer and performer captivated by the artistry, beauty and athleticism of ballroom dance. Actively training on a weekly basis in American style Smooth and Rhythm, and working on maintaining/building/learning new skills in the Night Club dances. So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with hustle, west coast swing and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing .Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

I have danced just about anything and everything. When I hear music I have to move to it. For the past five years Argentine tango has been my principle focus.
