I have over 30 years experience of ballroom and Latin dancing. Back in the late 1990s I did compete in a few competitions and we did quite well. Our dance teacher then died and we stopped. My last dance partner has now entered a serious relationship with someone and is not free to go dancing.

I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.) I currently dance at Ballroom Village in Loudon County, VA and have done coachings through that studio and through dance camps across the country.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

I am looking for a dance partner to do social dances with, and maybe spend some time working out some routines together.

I used to dance frequently but my dancing has lapsed a little since my wife / partner died a few years ago.

Have danced a fair amount recently but looking for a regular dance partner to connect with and to be able to enjoy the dancing fully and to in its entirety.

I am now part of a contact impro dance ensemble. My dream is to create sensual duets, rooted in deep listening. I would love to combine different dance styles, like contemporary and zouk. Regarding language, I am fluent in Norwegian and English. I used to speak Portuguese when I lived in Brazil, so I can probably relearn that quite quickly, and I am open to learning Spanish and French as well (I know some of the basics).

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I started taking weekly bachata and salsa dance since August and have started attending social events twice a month. I practice by myself several times a week; but, it doesn't translate well without a partner.

I am currently at a beginner bronze level in the Arthur Murray syllabus in American smooth and rhythm. I have competed at several Arthur Murray events including two dance o ramas. Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

Back in 1999, I started taking ballroom dancing lessons, for about 6 years. Unfortunately, I had some rough years in my life and I couldn't continue, at least with private lessons (I continued to attend parties and group classes occasionally. However, I started taking lessons again about a year ago and have been since. My favorite dances are east coast swing, lindy hop, hustle, as well as others like the salsa, mambo, merengue, cha-cha, waltz, tango. Lately, I'm learning more about the west coast swing, and have found a secondary dance teacher for the Lindy Hop where I take private lessons from her.

A little bit dance experience, I would like to continue this hobbies and keep myself healthier
