Hi,I used to study at King's College London, where I was heavily involved in their dance society, and once choreographed a ballroom piece for their annual dance show.

Unlike most guys, I started ballroom dancing not to meet girls, but to learn to dance! I do both International Ballroom and International Latin, but seem to be having more success on the Latin side of things.

Having competed for 3 years as novice on the university dancesport circuit, I wish to move to the Intermediate category with a good dance partner. Within a year of doing ballroom dancing, I also took up salsa. A year later, I also branched into a few other dance types, such as jazz and hip-hop. As such, I am pretty comfortable with either working at choreography or freestyling.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I enjoy going dancing. I have been casual dancing for the last 8 years or so.

County Western - 2 step: I consider myself intermediate; desire to learn and work on some new moves and turns.

West Coast Swing: I consider myself a beginner and just need practice to get the footwork ingrained.

New to dancing scene. Know a couple of country line dance combos, some basic salsa, bachata and tango. Open to learning swing and other dance styles as well.

I love fusion partner dance and im particularly drawn to to micro movements of kisomba and the footwork of salsa. Of this list i am most experienced in bachata salsa and kisomba. I am taking private and group lessons in smooth and latin dances.I've been dancing for 5 years, socially; not in competitions.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.
