A hopeless outdoorsy romantic who unwittingly fell in love with Contra dancing 18yrs ago (still my favorite dance).

I also love 14 other ballroom & swing dances--& have been a dance class junkie the last 12yrs (mostly West Coast Swing). I usually take 1-2 group dance lessons 4 nites/wk--followed by 1-3hrs of social dancing. Plus one private lesson with champion instructor the last few months.

Also take lots of classes at 3-5 WCS conventions per yr, plus 5-7 Contra festivals, & one Country wkend. Dance wkends are usually my favorite times of the year. Almost forgot: it's great fun dancing to live music at Blues clubs & other venues 1-3x/month.

Other interests: bicycling (tandem, mtn, road, touring), hiking, traveling, musical & dance performances, movies, plus public TV/radio. Am a politically liberal Unitarian who is very respectful of the views of others.

This lady is looking for a caring and genuine gentleman partner to be able to enjoy dancing. I have been dancing for about 20 years in total and have previously achieved successes within the Senior ranks in Britain, including 3rd in Over 50s Ballroom in the British Closed Championships, and 4th in the Senior Ballroom in the British Closed Championships. I have also represented Britain in the World Ballroom Championships. I love dancing and am hoping to find a senior gentleman partner who enjoys dancing as much as I do. I would be happy to either compete or limit to social dancing only, perhaps taking lessons to improve, also maybe Argentine Tango, Salsa or similar for enjoyment's sake. My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I have been country dancing, 2-step & line dancing for over 30 years. I have taken a few swing dance lessons. Places I dance at are Montana's, Cowboy Palace, Borderline events, The Ranch, wineries in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Oxnard.

I am a playful, flirtatious, hard working and inquiring individual who is looking for someone to play with, dance with and explore life with. You may notice that I live in Wenatchee. I run a high-end electronics shop here with my father. We are developing it together after I returned in '07 after graduating college. Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

Hi! I'm a single empty-nester looking to improve my dancing beyond the twice weekly lessons and occasional social dancing, that only by having a semi or regular partner at or above level can give you.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well-rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good, dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

Just a man looking to dance and have a good time.I am excellent at breaking down steps and working to improve dancers,adding that extra touch to stand out on the dance floor. Gold and gold bar teacher at major studio in southern California.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

What can I say, dancing is my passion. When I am not dancing I am dreaming about dancing! West Coast Swing is my favorite, but country 2-step & line dancing are a close 2nd. I consider myself an Intermediate level dancer. I enjoy practicing to improve my leader and partner skills. I've been told I am a very good leader, (you be the judge, lol). I like foxtrot, waltz, cha-cha, hustle, rumba, bolaro, quickstep, tango, salsa, Viennese waltz, and West Coast swing, but open to all types of dance. I'd like to practice twice a week for about 2 hours. I am retired and my schedule has flexibility.

Currently studying for my Dance Vision teaching certification in the most gorgeous dance studio I've ever seen. (Did you know Dance Vision has some studio franchises in Texas?) Shaking the rust off after a 10-year hiatus from dancing.

I'm all about technique, and would rather do a few figures well than many figures poorly. I've been dancing and teaching since 1993, some Silver American Smooth and Rhythm, some International Standard and Latin. Studied under Russell Monk, Fred Dunn, Rickey Geiger, Ludwig Dahlberg, and Craig Bukowski, among others.

I've hit the road full-time in my vintage Shasta LoFlyte. I had planned to be in New England for the summer but with this crazy weather, I have to admit, I'm kind of scared to travel that far. I may have to tough it out in Dallas, Texas, for the summer.

I'm a non-smoking, non-drinking, vegan Christian. Sound like a barrel of laughs, huh? ;-) I really am very funny; well, at least I think I am...I also have a cat and a not-so-friendly dog, something people with severe allergies need to know. I'm willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
