I took dance during high school and into college. Typical dance studio dancing during high school and then part of a dance team in college. I started Ballroom/ Latin dance classes around 2020 and fell in love!

I have participated in one competition and done a few spotlight dances at some of the events at my current Ballroom studio.

I take classes 3 nights a week and I am willing to add as much dance time in as possible to get better.

My goals are to be able to continue learning and getting involved in more competitions.

I like cha cha, swing, foxtrot, night club 2 step, west coast, samba. Most kinds of dance music.

Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was 2 years old, with a background in ballet, jazz, lyrical, poms, and cheerleading. Over the past 6 years, I've dedicated myself to Salsa and Bachata, training in both San Diego and Denver, Colorado. I'm currently part of one of Colorado's top salsa dance schools and perform on their couples performance team. I've also attended several dance congresses, learning from some of the best dancers in the world. I pick up choreography very quickly, love challenging myself, and thrive in an environment where I can train hard and continuously improve. I currently train 8–10 hours per week and am ready to take my dancing to the next level through competition! I especially love acrobatics, lifts, and dynamic choreography and would be excited to incorporate those elements into our routines. I began dancing in the early 1980 by taking CW dance classes in Austin, Tx with my wife. Social dancing was one of our passions until she passed in 2025. We also took some ballroom dance classes and enjoyed combining the two styles. We especially enjoyed the Waltz.

Been dancing for 14 years, mostly in social setting but with technical background in ballroom international Latin. Goal is to be better everyday and have fun in the process. Time to get out there!! Nothing beats the prep and dedication for a competitive events.

Btw...I travel a lot. Jan to March in Buenos Aires, Argentina; March to May in Philadelphia, PA; May to August in NYC; Month of Sept in Athens, Greece; Month of Oct in Tirana, Albania. The month of Nov in Lisbon, Portugal. The month of December in Malaga, Spain. In January, I will be back in NYC for a short visit before heading off for more travel adventures (my Tango dancing classes are not as frequent when traveling, but I hope to change that in 2026).

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.
