Open standard dancer

I began dancing when I was 17 years old. I quickly found that I had a passion for ballroom and shortly thereafter joined the competitive circuit. For four years I competed in ballroom dance collegiately for Purdue University and then UNC – Chapel Hill. My love for ballroom continued to grow during my time competing. I took every opportunity I could to dance which shortly led me into a professional teaching position. After years of intense studying, competing, training, and coaching, I now teach over 30 different styles of dance.

During my years of competitive and professional ballroom dance experience, I began to realize that dance, more than being entertaining, is an incredibly powerful form of expression. Dance allows you to feel things about yourself and about the world around you that you may have never experienced before. It allows you to express yourself in a genuine, meaningful way simple words just can't.

Perhaps most importantly, I have come to realize that dance is a medium through which you can release stress, anger, frustration, sadness, turmoil, uncertainty, and depression, along with many other emotions. Dance encourages you to understand yourself, to acknowledge and engage with your emotions, and find healing to grow past longstanding obstacles.

I have founded Move with Grace with these ideas in mind. In learning how to dance, I put great emphasis on the comfort of my students. We all have different pasts we’ve overcome, challenges we face, and goals we hope to achieve. I believe that ballroom dance is an art which can facilitate great change in the lives of individuals, and it is to this end that I now teach one of the world’s oldest art forms.

I am a beginner dancer. I have been practicing standard and latin dance since November 2025 at the Optimus dance club in Zagreb, Croatia. I am trained by renowned coach who is also a WDSF adjudicator.

In addition to my university diploma, I have also completed elementary school for classical music.

Professional dancer and choreographer with 31 years of experience in International Latin and International Standard (10 dances). I hold a university degree in Choreography, officially recognized in Europe. I spent many years living and competing at a professional level in Japan, representing the country in major dance events. While my primary expertise is International Latin, I also have a strong technical background in International Standard. My goals include professional competitions, show performances, teaching, and choreographic projects.

Hey, for the purposes of meeting on here you can call me TMT, the natural red-headed firecracker! LOL! OK, if you're still reading, this is a good sign. One of my friends says I'm not funny, but I can really make myself laugh 😁 I try as much as I can in life to always be positive. In dancing I'm serious about learning, easy-going as a partner, and start from the attitude of "Let's have fun dancing together!"

My first foundation in dance is ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied for about 11 years in these dance disciplines as well as a few others. I performed often, and over the years also choreographed my own dance performance numbers. I have some theater training and experience, which I also feel helps me whenever I'm dancing for an audience.

When I was in college I finally got to try partner dancing for the first time and loved it! It was easy for me to pick up. I started with an introduction to Social Ballroom dancing at The Ballroom of Sacramento. Simultaneously, I took classes in East Coast swing there. I would go frequently to the Saturday night dances and I picked up the Hustle just by following a good lead. Some time after that I took lessons in Argentine Tango at Tango By the River in Sacramento. During this time I was also very active going to the Friday night event in Sacramento known as Midtown Stomp. There I picked up Lindy Hop; again without any lessons, just following good leads. I eventually tried West Coast Swing and immediately I was hooked!

Started dancing at Arthur Murray in March 2017, trained with individual instructors for ballroom (American Rhythm and American Smooth, International , West Coast) and group lessons for Country. Dance socially. Performed in showcases.

Looking for someone to practice and train with their level not so important if their willing to put time in.

Someone who can put in at least 3 days a week in about 2 hours each be perfect the more days the better.

Salsa/hustle/kisombre/Bolero/Cha Cha/Bolero/Arg./ WCS. Tango/Waltz/ECS will be main dances want to work on . Also will do a little of others.

I try to eat healthy and workout 3 - 4 days a week

I'm a high level dancer looking for someone to practice with. There level is not of high importance to me so long as there willing to put the time in.I enjoy all the dances,but my favorites are salsa,bolero,hustle,bachata ,waltz ,Tango and cha cha

Eight years ago, began dance lessons in all styles. Then competed in Standard/Ballroom pro-am and amateur-amateur at College comps.

I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. Interests are in Tango, swing, swing fusion, developing West Coast swing skills... I do Israeli and international and Zydeco as well. Love contra because of the people. Just moved to the Chicago area.

I learn salsa at varies dance schools in N.Y. and Florida over the years and consider myself intermediate in salsa.. I don't smoke or drink. I am open to other dances like hustle, tango I just love to dance period. I just don't have a reliable partner to move forward to my best ability. I would be willing o go to class for practice and learn new dances. Don't judge the book by its cover. I am not your typical senior I've had to show ID to prove my age. More physically fit than your average 50 year old and look it as well. I am only quoting what has been told to me. I am not clingy, both have space to intermingle, but not neglect each other.

I always loved dancing and now that I am semi-retired, I want to be really good at it. It's one of the l ways I can express my freedom, happiness and love of life. I am a newbie but I am very enthusiastic and a good learner.

I am at my happiest when I am dancing !

I started learning Int. Latin in November 2022 and competing in February 2023, but have been dancing socially since 2021. I’ve participated in several Latin comps and a couple Country comps so far. I would like to continue competing and social dancing with a partner.

I'm a dedicated latin and ballroom female dancer. Currently training in Viva dance school. I have been taking regular private lessons and practicing 3-4 times a week.Looking for a dance partner to compete in latin.

I was a ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop dancer for almost 8 years. I started Latin ballroom dancing in October 2023. I have been Latin for 8 months. I want to practice every week all my Latin dancing routines. I have achieved up to silver level and I work extremely hard.

I've been competing for 8 years in the open circuit making finals of most of the prechamp latin competitions.

I also dance ballroom but am happy to specialise in either both or one style.
