Did ballroom lessons during high school in guyana. We did mostly waltz and cha cha. I am open to learning related dance forms. I haven't danced in years because I haven't found a passionate dance partner or social events around. I miss that part of me and need someone willing to help me reconnect.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I have dance competetively 5 years under Bjørn and Ashli. I have been away from dance 9 years and I do want to have a full time job and do my other hobbies as well, so a couple times a weak is what I am looking to do.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

As for dance training, I began lessons as a child (tap, modern), during college joined a ballroom dance team (competed in Swing) and later as a young adult traveled to West Africa, Brazil, Europe and India to study their various cultural music and dance forms. I took ball room classes for 2 years in the middle school. I have not danced since then. I love pair dances of different kind. I would like to learn salsa, tango, country and other kinds of couple dances.

I started learning Int. Latin in November 2022 and competing in February 2023, but have been dancing socially for about five years. I’ve participated in several Latin comps and a couple Country comps so far. I would like to continue competing and social dancing with a partner.

I am a bachatera for life! :) I love absolutely everything about it.. dancing, listening, learning.. and enjoy both traditional and sensual styles. I attend socials and congresses regularly.
