I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. Hello! I grew up training mainly in ballet, contemporary, lyrical/modern, and several folk dances. I started ballroom training about 3 years ago, but progressed quickly as I've made my way through BYU's intensive ballroom program. I've competed novice, pre-champ, and amateur international latin/ballroom, american rhythm, and american smooth. I also have some cabaret experience, and completed through gold bar medals exams with high gold. I can teach social dance as well. I absolutely LOVE everything about dancing, and it has been a huge form of healing in my life. Though I love all styles and am open to competing all of them, my favorite is definitely american smooth. I plan to compete professionally, and eventually open my own studio. I incorporate a lot of biomechanics, strength/weight training, cardio, boxing, and a variety of other movement into my training as a whole. I am very interested in dance and movement therapy, and plan to open my own studio someday that teaches dance in a healthy, supportive, encouraging, and healing way.

I’m just an amateur looking to join a ballroom dancing class

I've been dancing on and off for almost a decade, have competed in latin ballroom in Australia, but am now doing more standard ballroom, but only lessons at the moment. But I also dance bachata and salsa socially and am looking for someone to practice this with primarily - if anyone wants to practice latin ballroom, open to it as well. But really trying to find a partner to practice fun social dancing.

Professional dancer and choreographer with 31 years of experience in International Latin and International Standard (10 dances). I hold a university degree in Choreography, officially recognized in Europe. I spent many years living and competing at a professional level in Japan, representing the country in major dance events. While my primary expertise is International Latin, I also have a strong technical background in International Standard. My goals include professional competitions, show performances, teaching, and choreographic projects.

Waltz foxtrot quickstep - I take some lessons every few years but need an experienced dance partner

Getting weary of 'no partner required' dancing.

Competed in international Standard and Latin for 11 years as an Amateur many years ago and would like to get back into it. Recently, I have just been doing some social dancing but started training again in 2024, working on my International ballroom. I really appreciate the beauty of good technique. I trained with Rhona Pick, Rex Lewis, Denise Jourdaine, Stephan Krauel and currently Stefano Di Brino.

I have been dancing for two years and going to a dance studio around 10 hours a week. I love ballroom dancing, smooth and swing, although I dance some of the Latin dances as well I have recently been at a South Florida dance competition where I was awarded first price for a solo dance with one of my instructors and several other awards for American Walt and tango, foxtrot and vienesse waltz. I am very active and love dancing and having fun.

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never found a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle. Happy to try other styles of dance too.

Former member of BYU Ballroom Team 1985-1989 (performance tours through Asia, US, and Europe including Blackpool and World Latin Formation Championships - 1989). Inrntl Standard training with Stephen & Elizabeth Cullip ('89-'94) and Kathryn Schaffer ('00-'03). Amateur Championship-level Standard competitions through 2003. I started training again around 2018 and competed in the 2023 NDCA U.S. National Championships at the Sr. III level placing 3rd in Latin, 5th in Ballroom, and #1 in 10-Dance. Social dancing since then. I also work out and stay in decent shape.

I dance Standard, Latin, and Smooth, and I'm looking for a partner to practice with a few times a week so we can grow together. My goal is to compete in Amateur Novice, Pre-Championship, and Championship categories.
