I have always loved dancing and been an above average social dancer. I have been training formally for the past 7 yrs. I dance Salsa (LA & NY styles - On 1 & On 2;Cuban Style, Rueda Dancing "Casino"); Cha Cha Cha, some Bachata and have been taking Argentine Tango clases for 1 1/2 yrs (Dinzel method). I am very interested in getting some training in West Coast Swing, Hustle and Ballroom styles but unfortunately proper training is not found in Panama; so, if you have some training and are thinking about taking a vacation trip to this part of the world please let me know it may turn out to be a combined fun travelling/teaching experience. I would be interested in a training experience (in the above styles of my interest or improve the ones that I am trained in to a higher level),and, am willing to explore/discuss an arrangement/agreement that would be acceptable to both of us.

I started three years ago, at first at Arthur Murray school and for the last year privately, average 8 hours per week (more in Covid time), I have reached silver 2 level. I always loved dancing and suddenly it became the biggest addiction of my life. I travel a lot and would love one day to be able to dance everywhere.

I love to dance as I'm guessing everyone else here does. I am open to alternative styles and have an appreciation for many disciplines but I am particularly keen on Lindy hop at the moment.

I have been Lindy Hopping for a year and 4 months now and my previous dance experience beforehand did not involve any formal dance lessons bur rather trial and error when out socialising like most people. In other words I taught myself to street dance if you like.

I have also since done a bit of cross body salsa which I'm finding enjoyable to learn and also a little Balboa.

I'm by no means an expert in any of these dance styles but I am very keen. I have also been asked to join professional Lindy Hop groups for one off performances but I've had to decline (to my bitter dissapointment) for reasons I won't bore you with, lol!

I have 4 years of private ballroom instruction in both Smooth/standard and Latin styles. Competed in one competition just to see what is was like. I feel music deep in my soul!! My passion has always been Latin rhythms, and I’m loving salsa/bachata right now. I dance at the club a few times a month, but it just gets to be too late. I have a piano degree and have a lot of experience with different rhythms as I’ve played drums and composed in a Steel Drum band/Calypso music. I’m a good follow and can catch on to most lead’s styles. I’ve been partner dancing for about 15 years.

It is now 8 years since i took up ballroom dancing as a beginner, having never ever danced before. i have just restarted having dance lessons in ballroom and latin after a 3 year break due to personal problems. I had reached an intermediate level in dancing and i hope i shall once again reach that level with practice and dedication to be the perfect dancing partner for any lady. I have also learnt sequence dances as these are played at most social dances around. whilst I may be a little rusty i am sure it won't take long to get back into the swing of things.

I am starting Phase II lessons in several dances; foxtrot, swing, salsa, tango, etc. Also plan on country western.

I like both soul uplifting music and a dance itself.

However, I am not fanatical person.

The reason being why I want to do dancing is to be both fit and happy.

As a novice I would like to take a practice at a 'basic level', however, a lot of patience will be required to deal with me.
