I've taken ballroom classes under both umbrellas of standard and Latin, but I would like to concentrate more on the Latin category. I want a title. Currently, I'm also weight training once a week to pursue my aesthetic goals.

I danced for several years, doing a mixture of ballroom,(achieved IDTA 4th Gold Star in 1986) latin and rock n roll. After a 10yr break i started Salsa and realised i wanted to do more.I've concentrated on ballroom/latin for the past 3 years, but have recently started Argentine Tango and Lindy Hop and Ceroc, proving to be an enjoyable challenge !!

I've been told I have a sweet personality (with a bit of spice), and I have a great smile. Look much younger than my age. My favorite pastime is dancing. I've been doing lots of two-step and jazz-type dance and some ballroom and jazz-type line dancing. I'm a quick learner, light on my feet and would love to learn more. If there's a dance I don't currently do, I'm bound to catch on very quickly.

I am a mother of four and work part time. I like to keep fit and regularly go to the gym. I LOVE ballroom dancing, favouring ballroom over latin. Ideally I would dance with my husband but he works away and i wish to continue to learn more and become the best dancer I can be. I can travel up to an hour away for lessons/practices and dances.

I began dancing in the Ballroom style at a local studio in the 1970s. I danced regularly - a couple of times a week for many years. I prefer the Latin dances such as Cha Cha and Jive. I've had lessons in Ballroom and Street Latin and ventured into Linedancing as I didn't need a partner. I haven't danced for years now but would love to get back on the dance floor. I cannot do spins anymore due to dizziness.

I'm located in Brisbane Australia. I trained in the UK for many years with my main coach being David Trueman. I ranked very highly in Senior 1 in the UK, willing to train every day to reach the top in world.

I’ve taken a beginner and intermediate class and been to a few swing dances. I want to learn more and get better but I need a willing partner!

I learned to dance in the Atlanta area. I have done many different styles, I competed in country and smooth ballroom previously. Most recently I have focused on doing west coast swing dance because it is my favorite. I used to teach beginners' lessons so I know some of the lead's part and would be happy to teach someone who is interested in learning. I have two young children so I don't have as much free time lately but would still like to get out and dance sometimes. I would also be interested in the possibility of teaching beginning ballroom and swing lessons and anyone who might be willing to do that with me would be wonderful.

I am a very serious tango dancer and I want to dance Tango with great musical expression, connectivity and flow. I think I would enjoy dancing Tango even more, if I could practice and dance with the same person often. I dance very connected with my partner and I take two private lessons a week. If you can follow, we can have beautiful dances together and enjoy ourselves.

In addition to dances listed in the multiple choice section, I love Urban Ballroom, aka Detroit Ballroom. I have done many partner dances for many years. Mostly I follow, but I'm learning to lead. Dances I can lead a little bit: Cajun/zydeco waltz, cw waltz, Viennese waltz, country 2 step, bachata. I am a purely social dancer; it's all about the music and having fun. I love to dance to live music, as well as good DJs. Sometimes I go to venue where one needs to "take a dancer with you". Usually when I wish I had a partner to bring, I'm going to hear a Western swing band (cha cha, wcs, Lindy, balboa, country 2 step) or Lindy hop band.

Currently producing a workout program DVD project I welcome inputs from yoga instructor, fitness trainer, martial artist, dancer and nutritionist.

People have described me as someone who is confident, determined, passionate, fun, outgoing, active, optimistic, romantic and adventurous. I love art of all forms, especially martial art and healing art. I enjoy singing. It sooths me when I sing. Occasionally I write songs while playing guitar.

Dancing is my life. I am so passionate about it and i hope that whoever i dance with is too. I work extremely hard and one of my goals is too audition for so you think you can dance in a year. :)

Right now I am practicing 4/5 days a week using International Standard Bronze/Silver figures and routines. The gold figures can always be added.

Have taken a year of professional ballroom. Have a natural ability and love for dance. I have taken a few years of East Coast lessons and just a few West Coast swing lessons. I have attended the Maitland Center's Salsa Heat lessons and really enjoyed it...I haven't danced since December 08 only because I've been out of the area...but will be moving back to Altamonte in December 09. Hope to get back into the 'swing' of things very soon!
