I was first introduced to Argentine Tango while living in San Francisco around 2005.

I moved away from SF and I now live in Huntington Beach. I am taking bi-weekly private Tango lessons and weekly group lessons.

I love to dance, have good rhythm, and told that I'm a good lead. I Swing East and West, Hustle too, can give you a workout, if I dance with you. I enjoy dancing Free Style, and now enjoy Salsa, the dance, more than salsa, the dip, though I wouldn't say my moves are so very hot. I know Slow Dance, and am surprised many ballroom dancers are not familiar with it, though it is very easy to follow. Know some Country 2-Step, Night-club 2 Step, picked up some Latin and Ballroom dances, just a bit of Argentine Tango. I plan to become more proficient in the various dances. Since I have an imagination and the lead, I occasionally get creative, and make up moves, and welcome creativity, as well as a partner that excels in a dance. I seem to pick up steps quickly when broken down well, though occasionally while learning a new step, go brain dead. I can sometimes be available during the daytime for practice, and in the evening for both practice and dancing. I will not mind traveling within the Tri-County area for the right partner. I do have sense of humor and know some good jokes; the following, not necessarily included.

I'm a dance instructor in Tucson, Arizona. I, with the support of my studio, am interested in procuring a professional partner to train and compete at a high level. The studio is interested in hiring my counterpart to instruct in studio, perform in semi-annual showcases and compete in pro-am events with students in addition to pro competitions with me.

Recently began dance lessons in Two step, One step, Country Waltz and Country swing at a local studio in Austin.

My partner has never been interested in dance but I've always wanted to learn. I would really like to find a dance partner for social dancing and practice.

I'm retired from UT Austin where I was a broadcast producer for KUT Radio for many years. I've even recorded an album at the Broken Spoke (for the Cornell Hurd Band) but have never danced there, believe or not, even though I've lived in and around Austin

for 40 plus years.

I grew up in Scotland, moving to the US in 1994. I have two lovely daughters and a husband who are all very happy that I enjoy dancing so much. I've taken private lessons consistently since June 2008. I enjoy both working on choreography for showcase performance etc. and dance technique for competition. I am in good shape and hope to be dancing for many years to come.

I have been a professional dancer for the better part of a decade. I used to compete in Rising Star and Open American Smooth, but am transitioning to Standard because I think I'm better suited to it.

I've always enjoyed teaching more than competing, but I've found competition keeps me sharp. It's been about three years since I've competed.

I trained in both Latin and standard ten dance for 5 years, and placed 3rd at Nationals in the syllabus standard division. Standard and smooth dancing are my passion and are the styles I prefer to specialize in. I am a talented, driven and hard working dancer and a fast learner. Competing with the right partner has been a dream of mine ever since I started dancing.

I would like to learn swing, ballroom, and ultimately the Argentine tango. I am a beginner, have take a couple of classes but need to learn the basics with a strong partner who can lead.

Danced on open circuit in the amateur class for the last 2 years in both ballroom and latin

I’m a Cajun Texan and grew up crossing the border to Louisiana go cajun dancing frequently as a child, so I learned that waltz styled jig from an early age and grew into country and salsa dancing.

I just started dancing recently (June 2022) and for now just doing it purely for fun, as my therapy. I love American smooth dances, but open to some Latin. For some reason, I am not crazy about salsa. I am a beginner and still very conscious and most times a bit scared on the dance floor. I am looing for someone who is around that same level and wants to grow. The goal is to get through a dance with eyes closed and not thinking about mistakes.

Not thinking about competitions at this time, but hey - never say never.
