I dance at the silver+ level, took private lessons in Int'l Std with Michael Neil, Alec Lazo, Sasha Givency. I also studied Argentine Tango with Jerry Perez before they moved to California. I've fallen in love with Arg.Tango and love the connection energy and passion of this dance. Taking standard group class with teachers Paolo n Liene diLorenzo from New Jersey who have relocated here. Performed pro-am in the 2008, 09, 10 Dec showcases; and on the GoldCoast Formation team 2011, 12, 13,14 and 15.

I have been dancing for almost 20 years, mainly ballet, jazz, contemporary, ect. I fell in love with ballroom when I was 11 and was a rhythm/smooth competitor, but have been without a partner and off the competition floor for several years.

My amateur partnership has been sporadic between 2007 to 2015. In 2007, I competed in gold and novice. Was in amateur hiatus until 2014, when I competed in novice again. Between 2015 until currently, I competed in Pre-Champ and Championship levels with two different partners. Currently, I have a practice partner but we have no plans to participate in competitions.

I danced for many years with my wife. My wife has since suffered from strokes and memory loss an can no longer dance. I am not interested in taking medals, but do try to dance correctly. I prefer ballroom to Latin, but am OK with both. I also prefer popular sequence dancing.

I am a newcomer and placed 2nd overall at my first competition in International Standard Waltz and Quickstep. I also place 2nd overall in newcomer Latin which I do not prefer.

I believe a dance partners are a true team where we both feel comfortable giving and receiving advice and input. Being very comfortable making mistakes is a must as we both will and it's a great way to learn.

Ultimately, I just want to have fun with basically NO PRESSURE! Also, I have a lot of experience as an endurance athlete coach with my business. So, I know how to help us train optimally!
