Just started in Ballroom about a year ago, started out as a Zumba instructor and fell in love with Ballroom at the same studio.

A born and bred Maryland girl - now returning after 30 years away. I'm looking for someone to explore the city with. And, with luck, something wonderful will grow from our friendship.

Ballroom dancing is my passion - I cant get enough of it. So, if you also love dancing - or are willing to try it - send me a message. But don't let my competition pics give you the wrong idea - I am not a high maintenance, girly kind of girl. Yes, I clean up well, but I'm most comfortable in my jeans without make up. I love hiking with my dogs in the woods, hanging out at home, and going to my family's beach house. I try to stay physically active - the gym, pilates, and walking or biking -if only so that I can enjoy good food and wine without worrying. I have a sense of adventure and love trying new activities (well, maybe not skydiving...) so if you want to teach me about your passions I will jump in whole heartedly. I'm a dog person - I have five...yes five (well, I inherited two of them). So if you also love dogs, or at least are not afraid to get dog hair on your clothes, we will get along great.

The other thing that fills my life these days is studying Oriental Medicine and acupuncture. I've always been fascinated by Taoist/eastern philosophy, tai chi, Chinese martial arts, and energy healing. So when I was laid off from a long career that I was coming to despise, I applied to acupuncture school. Wow, what an amazing decision! I feel like school is just reminding me about things i've always instinctively known. We are just starting to learn needle techniques and a 5-needle protocol for ear acupuncture that helps with depression, anxiety, and addiction. In two weeks I'll be treating patients in rehab clinics!! And, I'll be starting to see my own patients by the end of summer. I feel so happy and fulfilled with this new career choice - and it means that while other people my age are starting to plan their retirement, I am planning on how to start and build a new career. The great thing is that it feels like retirement to me!

I am happy, that I had the chance and opportunity to dance a lot of international competitions including worldchampionships, blackpool and the international championships in london and reached the most of the time the final, sometimes the first three places in the senior categorie. My topteachers I had in Vienna, England and Italy.

I'm not much good at talkin about myself! I like to square dance and would like to take my camper and go to a few that are in different areas as budget and schedules allow.I am just a country guy out to do something fun in life.I am not really into bars much. They take your money that you could be havin steak on. Can you tell I like to eat!I have to keep up my energy level some how if I am gonna keep dancing.thats about all that hits my mind for now. I have been social dancing (social quickstep, foxtrot, slow waltz and old time waltz, country jive) for years. I have always wanted to improve my international standard ballroom and latin dancing with the possibility of competitive.

Managed 4th in the all England classical dance as a juvenile then started to dance modern ballroom and Latin but sadly gave it up at a young age. But 40+yrs later have found a new passion and love for dancing and it's a little like riding a bike you never really forget 😀

Am currently dancing adult and masters in standard and latin and looking for a partner to eventually compete with.

I’ve only taken ballet class for one summer when I was 14. Other than that I’m pretty much self taught. I’ve been dancing since birth basically. I started dancing for real on my middle school dance team (7th-8th grade). In 8th grade I became the jazz officer of my dance team. Ninth grade year I became a squad leader on the dance team. My sophomore year I was just a regular member because only juniors and seniors are allowed to be officers. So when I became a junior I was lieutenant. My senior year, I became co-captain.

I love dance so much. My favorite styles to perform are jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. I love to watch other people do hip hop.

I love to choreograph also, and my dance videos on Instagram.

Very pleasant easy going man. Have been dancing for about 1 year with many group lessons and dance tapes. Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Rumba, Merengue, some smooth dances, getting fairly good but always trying to improve.

Budding swing and ballroom dancer rapidly growing through accelerated practicing. Currently dancing upon Bemidji state University social swing and social ballroom club, Traveling swing team, traveling ballroom team. Dances of choice are 8ct lindy hop, single lindy (50s jitterbug) and American tango, But i am continuing to learn and grow universally and dance waltz, rumba, east coast, west coast, cha cha, balboa. Immediate plans are to be dancing at a bronze level by the end of the year and move up progressively over time to an eventual amateur level. I competed at Championship level in Am/Am Senior I and II divisions in American Smooth including USA National competitions (5th and 6th placements in 2011 and 2012). I currently compete in Pro/Am B and C divisions at Advanced Open or Gold in International Standard, and in Pro/Am Intermediate level in West Coast Swing, Hustle, Night Club 2-step, Salsa and Cha Cha at Rocky Mountain 5 dance competition and Colorado Country Classic (WCS, Hustle, NiteClub2step)

I have been learning American smooth and International standard for a few years. I have also taken many classes in Argentine Tango.
