I have an MFA and dance performance in a BFA and choreography and performance. I danced professionally with contemporary/modern dance companies. I have been teaching in the dance field for over 20 years. I was introduced to learning Latin dances just two years ago. There are no Latin dance schools in my area so I have traveled to the occasional workshop and utilized YouTube. I would very much like to learn more, practice, share, create, and perform. I need a dance partner. I would be willing to arrange a standing schedule & travel exchange as long as it was feasible with my work schedule and budget.

I started learning how to dance by joining Texas A&M's ballroom dance club in Fall 2019. I really enjoyed learning some basic styles of ballroom and am continuing to learn more dance styles this Spring. I also started learning country western this Spring through a beginner's class offered by my college. I love dancing as it brings the best side out of me and fills me with tons of energy. I want to continue to learn as many dance styles while getting better at them while I am still a college student. My favorite dance styles: Cha-Cha (want to learn more advanced versions while getting better) and maybe Hustle. I would like to learn two-step first, if possible since my class was going to do that next after spring break, but circumstances changed. I Love dancing so much that I Construct my own dance studio in Manila, teaching Out of School youth. Why would I put time and energy into a profile for a dance directory of only 70k people? Its interesting to me what motivates people in life. Many are on a hamster's wheel for a paycheck. Inside their heart they have a dream that's unfulfilled. I have been there in the past. I went to graduate school for business but then I realized I would rather have a career that allowed me to directly help people. A job that involved being outdoors and exercising. I was an adventure therapist for at risk youth for 3 years. Then I took another route, one that was more aligned with my artistic side...photography. Now I am working in tourism...leading tours all over the world. However a dream that I have put off is dance. It is in my blood. Just like all the members of this site, it makes me feel alive. It makes me feel so connected to my partner, the most intimate, passionate connection. Right now I am in Puerto Rico for a short time taking private salsa lessons. I also love tango and swing. One of the best dance experiences of my life was doing free form dance naked with a partner, haha! I just want to dance all day every day. I want to take it to the limit. I'm just a beginner now, but the passion I have can take me far. For those willing to relocate, so am I. Of course at first it would just be a visit.

Hi everyone. I have 10 years former training in ballet, tap, modern, and gymnastics. I started teaching ballroom dancing about 6 years ago at a national chain studio which is where I was trained and certified. I am currently seeking a partner for practice (I'm trying to certify in the DVIDA syllabus now), and I am open to competition and shows as I now own a studio and help coordinate corporate and non-profit dance-themed events. I've been into swing dancing for a few years and am now learning the ballroom dances. I've found that I really enjoy these dances and would like to dance more and maybe compete.

I took Salsa lessons a couple of years ago for 12 months on and off, so I don't step on toes (well not my own!)

I have been dancing ballroom for about 5 years. Both smooth, latin and focusing a lot on swing.

I have taken group and private dance classes for about 4 years. I have competed pro-am 3 times and once in amateur at the bronze level, however I know other steps above the bronze level. I desire to learn more technique and progress to silver. Competition is not my main goal. My goal is to be a good dancer and if performance and competition opportunities arise I will consider them.

I'm a latin dancer and I'm living in Japan. I have been dancing for 8 years. I want to be a show dancer and I'm looking for partner who can show dance together.

I would love to learn to dance. I have minimal experience but have a big desire to learn.

Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha are my main area of focus for almost 7 years. I started dancing Salsa on1 with Jimmy Rumba from Los Rumberos and moved to training in on2 with Proyecto Barrio Dance Company, both in Atlanta. I trained with the student team before spending several years traveling and performing with the Semi-pro team. During that time I also trained and performed with a number of Latin teams including Los Bachateros/Bachata Soul, Maria Voisin Dancers, and Bachatamante/Amante Dance Company as well as my own choreographies and intensive dance challenges. Over the years I have taken numerous private lessons and workshops with renown local and world class instructors including Afrocuban and Folkloric. In addition, I've taken classes in practically every style of ballroom, swing, Latin and even Argentine Tango though I've mainly focused on Waltz.
