I am a very energetic person with many interests...I have fallen in love with dance, and for the past 2 years, I have been actively taking lessons at DANCESPORT in Manhattan 4 nights a week! My main interest and passion is Salsa, as well as other Latin Dances, Hustle....and of course Argentine Tango...I live in Queens, NY but I travel to NYC as well as NJ to dance...

I live for dance and can't imagine a day without it. My last partner and I had an incredible connection and saw real progress in our dancing at competitions. Unfortunately, he had to return to Romania.

Since 2003 I've dancing all "saloon dances" but with focus on Tango only. I went pro with Tango but I dance everything for fun. Had some wonderful dance partners in the past. Need someone dedicated to practice a couple times weeknights, or weekends if that's the case. In the past I have practiced at my home, nothing spectacular, but OK--do you have room to practice??

First, I've been SWING (ECS) dancing for MANY years, ballroom for only 13 years. I currently ballroom dance some CHA CHA, RUMBA, Hustle, Am Tango--some basic steps--, Night Club Two Step--my favorite--, Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, have been coerced to do Salsa and Merengue. I do ECS, Country 2 step. I am NOT a silver or GOLD level in any of those dances. Except the jitterbug/EastCoast swing. I have danced this for years! Not a lot of different moves, but I feel I dance smoothly, don't JERK the lady and can execute several different moves. (For you readers that are just getting into dancing, Jitterbug and East Coast Swing [ECS] are basically the same dance.) Hope to learn WCS soon.

I want to practice to improve my technique and style and add more moves to what I already know. Maybe we can help each other really get GOOD!

Now I'm exercising and dieting to return to better weight and stature. Trying to keep in shape for you ladies so you wouldn't be ashamed to dance with me. Most of the pictures are of me at 188#, I'm a little more than that now, but I'm working on that.

I want/need to practice to release the work tension--I work at City of Evans (Colorado) supporting the users and dancing helps release the stress.

I am looking to do competitions with someone at least the same height as me - (5 ft 9 with heels). I live in North London (edgware) and would hope that you don't live too far out. I am not looking for anything other than a dance partner as I am married and have a family. I have been doing modern jive for a couple of years now and have competed successfully at Ceroc Champs etc. I have the medals and trophy's to prove it! I dance regularly in St Albans and Hatfield so if you are local to that, that would be great. I am currently looking to pursue competing and ideally enter the fixed categories as opposed to the lucky dips and dance with strangers categories. I also love to dance Salsa and have danced on and off for 10 years now. I learnt in Cuba and therefore can dance both cross body and Cuban style on the '1' or on the '2'. I came runner up in the World open salsa champs for amateur's in 2002 and won the British Amateur Open Salsa Champs in 2012. I also auditioned for Strictly dance fever a few years ago, getting through to the second round. I appeared as an extra in the 2014 film Cuban Fury.

I am a fun person and love to dance (waltz, cha cha, two step, cowboy cha cha, triple two step, west coast, east coast and a few more.)

Love dancing tango, swing, salsa, balboa and trying new styles all the time. Have lots of energy for social dancing most evenings!

I wake up in the morning wanting to dance. I can't believe that I waited so long to seriously start dancing. I can bring a lot of passion to my dancing. I currently live in small town without dancing and have had long drives to go dancing. Still I dance 3 times a week and would be happy dancing 5 times a week. I consider those in the dance community to be my friends. The people I have met through dancing have been just great. I sometimes think I'm trying to master too many dances at once but consider it a challenge to became proficient at as many dances as possible.

I would describe myself as a social butterfly. I took my first dance lessons 10 years ago back in Kansas City. In high school I was never one to have rhythm (or so I thought). I was the 4.0 GPA athlete type that never got the guy :( When I took my first lesson, I automatically felt like I had found my calling! Latin dance felt so comfortable and natural to me. I eventually found a steady partner and we danced for the next few years socially and for some local competitions. After college, I moved out of state and lost touch with the network of dancers I danced with. Out here the dance network doesn't seem that active. I miss that connection with people. I met some of the most wonderful individuals from all over the world, from all walks of life.

It's been 6 years since I regularly danced and I miss it so much. Once you establish your career, get married and have children your dreams can become a distant memory. Dancing is the one thing that always made me happy and I intend to keep my passion alive! I'm making a comeback baby!

Numerous classes/lessons (group and private) since 2008. Love smooth, Latin, club (Hustle, WCoast, NC 2 step). I was used to dancing 3X week until moving to Walnut Creek where there are fewer dance opportunities. Rossmoor (where I live) requires a partner to attend dances. Would love to join weekly Social Dance Club and practice with my partner. (Partner required.)

I know a little bit about a lot. but mostly Lindy Hop swing dancing. I'd like to learn more aerials with a partner, if things go well it'd be very fun to compete in competitions, of course if it stays social that's absolutely fine too. :)
