Recently moved to Phoenix 1 year ago from Minnesota. I have discovered that I really enjoy dancing. I have been taking lessons for the past 6 months, learning Arizona 2 step, Country Waltz, Cowboy Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, 1/2 Time, In-line, and a few others. I have developed a basic knowledge of each dance. I am most fluent in AZ 2 step. I am really wanting to learn more and practice.

I am very interested in learning West Coast and am open to other styles too. I have surprised myself with how quickly I learn. I just need practice time!!

I've been working for Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Fort Myers for 6 years. I have worked with many coaches in training my students. I am an American style dancer dancing in both Rhythm and Smooth. My goals would include finding a partner who is willing to train and compete in both Open Smooth and Open Rhythm. I'm willing to do what it takes to be great. I'm really a fun loving person who loves to dance and wants to compete with more than just my students, it makes a great paycheck but its impossible to grow if your not being challenged.

I'm seeking a great and tall partner with whom I can compete and attend social dances. Been dancing Pro/Am Open Smooth in competition Novice/Pre-Champ Amateur Open Smooth and Rhythm. So far so good, but my Amateur partner recently moved, and I am seeking a new one - even for practice and social dancing at first. Competitions can come later when we're ready.

I have been taking classes and private lessons with an emphasis on technique for four years now and am also working on routines for exhibition/performances. I recently placed first in the Holiday Dance classic in Las Vegas in Pre-Champ American Smooth (Amateur)

I enjoy both American smooth and rhythm, as well as Argentine Tango and have tried most other standard dances at least once - I love them all! I'd certainly like to learn more of the International dances (more Quickstep, Paso Doble, etc), and would consider switching styles if I find the right partner.

My real job is a busy one and also sends me traveling fairly often. However, dancing gives me great joy, and it's something I could use more of right now. Therefore, I'm willing to make the time after hours to practice often and with gusto.

I have been in the dancesport competitive arena since 2014 and since July 2016 am dancing competitive proam in Australia and internationally in Latin whilst searching for a partner. Just recently won the National Championship (June 2017) in Pro Am open Latin Masters and Adult. In 2015 I won the C Grade New Vogue Australian Championship and runner up in Standard, along with many other titles during the year. I have also been dancing open level in all 3 styles and comfortable at that level . Prior to competition I completed all ADS medal exams in all 4 styles Latin, ballroom New Vogue and street Latin, and completed the Mickey Powell award. I am looking for a dance partner committed to training and competition nationally and open to international competition. I am happy to focus on one style if it suits the partnership. I am in Melbournes Eastern Suburbs but train across Melbourne so happy to share studios . My name is Kate, I’m from England, I’m 25 and I have just moved over from London to start teaching dance at a High School in the Bronx. I teach Jazz & Contemporary but my main passion is International Latin Dance. I have been socially dancing for 6 years and taking private lessons for a year. I successfully competed in Pro Am Last Year.

I have always been a freestyle dancer but have taken up formal dance since summer of 2013. So far I have been a quick learner and although I consider myself as still a beginner I have been getting great compliments from every pro dancer I have had a chance to dance with and from others who have watched me dance. They all say that I am an excellent follower so I would love to find a good leader to practice with on a regular basis. My favorite is Tango....both American tango and Argentine tango... Followed by waltz.

I trained to be a dancer at the Arts Educational school in London then went on to the London Studio centre. Although I am not dancing professionally I still run a small dance school and teach occasionally. I still love dancing and would love to find someone to dance with.

Finished dance school in Ukraine and was a ballroom dancer for 6 years. Then my partner moved to another country and I started to work in dance show where we danced ballroom dances as well as belly dance, folk ukrainian dance, contemporary. But I really miss ballroom dances so I am looking for a partner to dance together and take part in competitions.

My name is Slavik. I am 23 years old. I was born in Russia but lived in Canada for the past 13 years. I have a degree in business. I work as an accountant but I don't enjoy it, yet. Sports are my passion. I discovered dance a couple of years ago and have been hooked ever since. I am not a pro yet but I'm sure that with a "little" hard work anything is possible. Until recently, I've only been dancing in the Pre-Champ latin category. Ballroom is different but I'm starting to enjoy it too.

My goals are:

-Champ latin/Pre-Champ ballroom by summer 2010

-Champ latin/Champ ballroom by 2011

-train in Europe for a year in the ballroom style

-come back to Canada and compete for the Canadian Championship

-once I turn 27, go back to Russia and train in Latin for a year

-top 5 in Canada in ten dance by 28

-top 50 in the world by 29.

Dancing is my passion! I enjoy all styles of partner dancing, and I travel throughout the bay area for quality instruction and social dancing. I take regular private lessons along with series classes and workshops.

My ballroom training is primarily in the DVIDA Syllabus for the American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Nightclub style dances, and I studied Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires for seven weeks in the Spring of '08. I am interesting in learning International Standard.

While I am primarily a social dancer, I have performed on stage in an Argentine Tango formation routine as well as all the usual student-teacher medal ball and studio showcase events. I am willing to train for amateur competition with the right partner.

I have moved to Middlesex a couple of years ago and not danced at all. I am seeking venues in and around London and greater London and would like to have a regular dance partner to improve. Not seeking a permanent partner even though I am single, I am light on my feet (I would like to think so) and have danced mainly ceroc and a little salsa. Done ballroom but that was a long time ago. I would like to socialize more too so if you are single too and able to socialize would be great.

I have been dancing for about 20 years. At times I have been intense, dancing 5 days a week and training privately. Other times, months will pass and I will only have gone once or twice. I completed bronze 4 course in ballroom last year at Arthur Murray in San Jose. These days I usually dance ballroom, but occasionally do country western as well. In general I have strong skills, but there are only a half dozen dances that I do often enough for me to possess a large repertoire. At many others I would describe myself as a very experienced dancer with just beginner to intermediate knowledge of the patterns of those dances. This is what I'd like to change. Right now, my strong dances are salsa, rumba, east coast swing, and country two step but all the other ballroom dances (+ country & western & folk) are fair game. With a bit of review and practice, I'm sure I can quickly recapture the things I have learned over the years that aren't quite at my fingertips.

Wishing to find an Argentine Tango partner in the Annapolis area. I moved here from NYC where Milongas are everywhere-having trouble getting connected here...

...and I will probably not get back to dancing till after sailing season, October-ish!

Really miss the dancing!

After I was widowed I started dancing as a complete beginner, about 10 years ago, and have achieved medal standard up to third star Latin and Ballroom, as well as taking a few fun exams in Club Dances, and have always been extremely pleased with the results.

I continue to take regular individual lessons with a teacher in both disciplines to continue developing my dancing skills and technique.

I started competing on the Sunday circuit 6 years ago and have entered competitions in both Ballroom and Latin, Senior Prix, Intermediate and the Over-50s classes.

I am told I have potential. I simply love dancing, learning, training and competing. I am looking forward to working hard to achieve success in competitions and would enjoy the challenge of dancing with an experienced dance partner.

My preferred discipline to compete in is Standard Ballroom, but with the right partner I would be more than happy to be a Ten dancer.
