Been having private dance classes since 2012,

Loving life and ballroom dancing! I started ballroom dancing January 2013 and have participated in many showcases - 40 dances in each, with different dance partners whom I have never danced with before. Experienced my first dance competition in Las Vegas and placed in the Finals. That was an awesome experience! Would like to meet someone who is passionate about ballroom dance and is interested in me as their partner.

I have only been dancing for about five years but serious lessons for only one year. I would love to become a good dancer in as many ballroom dances as I possibly can. I am willing to practice 2 days a week 2 hours a day plus go to local dances, as a matter of fact I own a portable dance floor. Currently my strength is in East Coast Swing, Hustle, Cha Cha some Rumba, (enough to get us through a song on the Rumba thing). I am working on many other dances as well (took some Salsa group lessons). Currently in my real life I teach carpentry, I referee lacrosse and also enjoy biking, walking and outside fun. I have grown 4 kids my baby is 19 now omg! love dancing for fun!

Have stepped away from dancing the past few years, and would love get back to it with a good partner. Love music - blues, classic big band, country, pop. Favorite dances are Swing (West/East Coast), country 2-step, tango, foxtrot, quickstep. Am a reasonably decent dancer but out of practice.

I may be petite, but I've got plenty of punch and passion. Although, I am a well established, financially secure professional, I am not staid--rather I am open ,curious to new experiences, new ways of thinking, and people. I have high energy but I am distinctly not high maintenance. I have worked hard to become the physically and emotionally fit woman that I am. With good friends and family, I sparkle, laugh, share and commiserate, and am most truly myself. The worlds of art, intellect, politics, and cultural affairs enrich my life but it is dance that breathes life and harmony into my being. In retrospect, I have been dancing all my life. I have have passed through the many dance phases--lindy, latin, stroll, twist, frug, pony, monkey and back again to the partner dancing. I have had more formal dance training several workshops/dance studios in Manhattan. I had been an advanced student in swing and salsa. It has been several years since I have formal training--but still go to dance classes at my health club and have taken professional jazz classes. I look forward to dancing again with the right partner and would resume classes.

Took 2 years of dance when I was 16, but quit because I couldn’t afford the classes. I want to use my youth and agility to accomplish my goals in dance, without having to go bankrupt from all the expensive dance classes. I’m willing to train seriously, but would appreciate a partner for motivation and accountability. I like afrobeat, dancehall, samba, salsa, cumbia(both Mexican and Columbian), hip hop, contemporary, want to learn indigenous Aztec dances, want to learn tumbling, and get better at all of the above. I want to learn how to spin.

I love dancing very much and have been teaching it for the last 8 years. I teach and dance all the 5 ballroom and 5 Latin dances and Salsa, Argentine Tango and even the Polka. Over the last 20 years I have taken all the medal exams up to President level with the UKA, achieving mainly distinction. I have and run a dance school in Plymouth. Once a month I have a social at the Lower Guildhall in Plymouth, which has a beautiful floor. I give a class every Sunday to a group from 5pm to 7pm. I also offer private lessons.

Started Lindy hop and ballroom couple of years ago. Whenever I start something, I always want to do it well and practice. The icing on the cake would be someone to practice with and to go to socials.

Well... have been badgered into putting something down here at last so here goes!

Am the son of Ballroom dancing parents, whos real love was for Latin American, and who's father qualified as a teacher and with his own dancing school.

But did I take advantage of this as a teenager....... no!

I have finally been hit with a passion for dancing which still surprises me and my non dancing brothers... so am now looking to 'play catch up' on what I have missed!

I first found Ceroc, but that was replaced in Jan 2006 by salsa and am now totaly hooked, to the point where at times I look forward to a night in to recharge my batteries!

Have also dabbled in Merengue and Bachata, as well as Rumba, Cha Cha and Argentine Tango, and would love to explore these more sometime soon..... but would love to with a partner, with lessons, both class and private, plus of course nights out just dancing!

Although I take dancing seriously.... a sense of humour is esential too.... after all dancing should be fun!

I just started dancing Ballroom in Sept 2017 and I am hooked!! Was dating a dance and broke up, so I need to meet someone to dance with and possible more? I like the Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Blues, Rumba, Cha Cha and open to a lot more!!!

I used to compete at novice standard and was being trained by the late Glen Boyce in Bournemouth, but gave it up as my partner could no longer dance due to health reasons and one reason why I have not not been able to compete for many years. I got back to dancing two years ago but have not been able to find a partner yet, but I am having private lessons mainly in ballroom. I want to find a partner to train and compete with who enjoys dancing as much as I do. I enjoy going to social dances especially Ballroom and Latin dancing. I have done my medals up to gold standard. My ambition is to get to Blackpool to compete in the senior championships.

I took up ballroom dancing about 5 years ago after seeing the movie "Shall We Dance" with Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. I was really excited about learning a lot and advancing in the art but the lack of a regular partner who felt the same has really been a downer toward that objective. Though marriage would be a goal for me I would be ecstatic to find a woman that just had a similar desire to learn and polish her own dancing skills. I would like to consider amateur level competition when my skills become more advanced.

I lived and worked with horses for the majority of my life and am really fit for my age. I have a lot of energy and some of my favorite dances are the waltz, chacha, rumba, east coast swing, tango and bolero. As for the Argentine tango, I have never been instructed in it, so I don't know what I would think about it. I know some other dances like foxtrot, samba, salsa, mambo and a little tiny bit of west coast swing and Viennese waltz and quickstep.

I would like to move away from Illinois preferably out west in a Rocky mountain state. I jog and ride bike for other forms of exercise. I encourage any women to offer me their sage advice because I like hearing the viewpoints of women as well as men.

I have attended four out of the last five BYU dance camps in Provo, Utah. I hope that Dancepartner.com can provide me with good feedback on what to do and where to look for a dance partner.

I am 64 years old lived in Ohio my entire life. I was once married now divorced since 1999 with no children. I worked 36 years at Waterloo Schools in the maintenance-custodial department retiring in 2009. I presently do property management in Alliance. I do like to travel once in a while however I plan on staying in NE Ohio the rest of my life. Right now I just want to learn to dance Swing, Samba & the Hustle, Maybe the day will come that I resume Waltz lessons however that is a ways off for me. For those of you that have never witnessed The Waltz steps being performed at several different Ballrooms in NE Ohio you are missing out on something 'Truly Magical'! I plan to learn many other dances in the upcoming years once my dance hall is open on a limited basis in the next 2 years or so & fully operational by 2022 to provide lessons for the greater Alliance, Salem & Canton area. It is way off the road, back in the woods in a secluded & beautiful park like setting with plenty of parking! LETS DANCE!!

Hay I have been dansing ballroom for 5 years

I've been dancing at Arthur Murray for about 4 months and gone to two compatitions, New York and Orlando. Solo's in Tango and Balaro, but really like Cha-Cha, Salsa, Sumba, Bachada, Rumba, & Waltz. I also know other dances like Hustle, Single, Triple & West Coast Swing, Fox Trot, & Mumbo. I go to class just about every night, and have a blast.

Hello out there in the cyber dance world. If you're in the neighborhood, look me up. I go dancing once or twice a month and watching the premier dancers in Atlanta. Also, I enjoy the Salsa music; Salsa bands;and just watching the crowd.

Quite active for about 15 years in many ballroom styles, I haven't danced much at all in the last 5 years and find myself missing salsa, in particular, quite a lot.

I have taken lessons at various times at Fred Astaire . I entered an amateur competition. I have line danced, square danced, tap danced. When I lived in Williamsburg, Virginia I did English Country dance. When I lived in Las Vegas I participated in Contra dance and International Folk dance. I am currently doing International Folk Dance in Sarasota. I've taken group lessons at Saradance and recently at Ballroom City.
