Just started. Interested in learning Latin WCS West Coast Swing. I'm very new to dancing but have always wanted too. Passionate by nature. Half Portuguese so I'm hoping the blood kicks in with dancing and that I don't have 2 left feet :) I would like someone to be willing to dance as my partner with more experience than me to be able to guide me and accelerate my learning. I would like to do it for enjoyment and practice and if or when I'm become confident possibly train for amateur opportunities.

My background is theatre arts and most of the dance experience I've had is along those lines. I took an interest in LBS about 10 years ago and have studied off and on since then. I have always loved dance, music, and really anything artistic.

I live in Westchester but go to Manhattan to dance. I used to dance a lot, but now I want to get back into it.

I have been social dancing for 13 years. I teach a weekly dance class for beginners some intermediate classes. I have reached Gold medal with Honours in Ballroom dancing, which I prefer to Latin, although I like the Rumba more than I used to! I don't have a lot of spare time and I would like to have a dancing partner, possibly to have private lessons with and to practice. As I now teach, I hardly ever get to dance with anyone properly and I miss it. I possibly wouldn't be able to commit to going out social dancing as I have a partner who doesn't dance and I already have a lot of other commitments. However, private lessons would be a good starting point.

Previously a senior practitioner of Chinese traditional kung fu. Have been learning dance seriously for 20+ months, 2 private classes per week plus ~3 group classes per week in both Street Latin and Ballroom currently to Bronze level. Love English and Argentine Tango. Would possibly like to later explore some Flamenco. On a learning journey.

A Juilliard and Tisch/NYU graduate, I have toured 4 continents and danced with some of the best dancers in the concert dance world. I am retired from professional dancing but miss it terribly.

I am Puerto Rican and Italian who loves Latin music and dance. I social dance bachata, and salsa weekely taking classes when i can. My skill level is intermediate. My goal is to practice both genres of dance with an intermediate partner on a regular basis. I live over in N. Phx and have a dance studio where we can practice.

I have danced for 25 years starting in college with square dancing and it evolved after that. East Coast swing dancing is my favorite and dance as much as I can around Atlanta. I also do west coast and can get by in shag. I would love to compete but I haven't found the right partner.

I have danced professionally in the past in open competitions for all 5 ballroom and all 5 latin dances. I reached a couple of finals in youth category in open competitions and I was a national champion of Montenegro in Youth category. I had a 2 years pause due to moving away from home, but now that I am stationed at Bristol I have started to practice again and I am seeking a dance partner.

I’ve been dancing for several months, and have learned very quickly. I am taking weekly private lessons, group lessons and attending social dances several times a month. I am most proficient in Bachata (Silver) and Smooth dances (Will be full bronze in all smooth soon). I have some experience with Salsa, Rumba, and Cha Cha, East coast Swing.

2019 update: I've been dancing for 8 years now. After learning basic ballroom and swing dances, I gravitated to salsa and I absolutely love it! When I lived in San Dimas, I roamed from Pasadena to Rancho Cucamonga to north Orange County in search of places to dance at. Now that I'm in Woodland Hills, my areas range from Arcadia to Bogie's in Westlake Village.

I have done performance dancing, that was a lot of fun, but it is also a time commitment so I haven't done it in awhile. I am open to going everywhere within reason, any night of the week. I also know bachata and cha-cha as well though my cha-cha incorporates a number of salsa patterns as I don't know that much formal cha-cha.

I love to dance and like to have fun dancing is my tonic. I am happy to travel to different venues I have a silver medal in ballroom, latin, and gold in salsa. I would lie a regular partner either for fun - different types of dancing and for competitions. I would like to try new styles which aren't easily available in my area- I am self employed and obviously busy at times and also like to paint and travel.

Have done country line dancing for 3 years. Started partner country dancing 1 year ago. Love doing both. Dating someone who loves to dance as well is easier and more fun! I have other interests as well!

I think I am a person to be fun with, though not a great dancer yet. But I am willing to put in hard practice as I did in past four years. I have been making progress on all my modern dances by taking extra private lessons during last two years. In order to make more improvement, I have started to compete in Pro-Am three years ago at bronze and silver levels and occasionally performed at some social functions.

While I have been dancing socially for 15 years I joined a latin formation 3 years ago and since then dancing has become my main hobby and I started to enjoy the competitive side of dancing. I'm orginally from Germany and will now move to the US but don't want to give up dancing :) Dancing is hobby and although I'm prepared to spend many hours for it I'm currently not looking to start a professional dancing career.

I want to dance and compete as part of a dedicated team. My regular dance week includes private lessons, near-daily practices, ballet classes and gym workouts. I like to work with a structured plan and schedule, see work translate into improvement, and to have fun while doing it!
