I started learning how to dance about a year ago. To be honest I was dragged kicking and screaming to dance class by an ex girlfriend. I was frustrated at first because the salsa steps seemed more like a foreign language than rhythm. I soon discovered that I loved the challenges of learning how to dance and also was thrilled to discover the rush of emotion when I was actually able to do some of more complicated turn patterns. I am now addicted to salsa dancing and the music. Salsa is my first love but I have recently discovered that I also enjoy learning other dances. I am currently taking lessons at both a ballroom studio and a place that teaches club style salsa and am thoroughly enjoying ever moment.

I am divorced. I live in the university area of Charlotte. I have varied interests from riding Harleys to dancing. I enjoy doing almost any outdoor activity.

Was introduced to Social Ballroom and Swing dance 10 years ago, spent a while learning beginner to intermediate in several styles. Swing, Salsa, Hustle, Night Club 2step, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango.

However, I have only used these extremely sporadically and am pretty rusty in all but Swing.

Recently took a Swing Dance Instructor course, so I know both primary lead and follow in Jive, Double-Time Swing, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing and my favorite LINDY HOP!!

I am interested in all the vintage dances, as well as Salsa, but open minded to learning others.

My goals are to hone my abilities as well as expand knowledge in chosen dances. Willing to teach you what I know, lead or follow.

Dancing for 9+ years in American and International styles (Smooth, Rhythm, Latin, Standard) Silve-Gold level. I also enjoy Salsa, Hustle, WC Swing.

Started junior ballroom, in late teens disco, rock, especially northern soul and Motown. Twenties, back to ballroom with many amateur competitions. Forties Salsa Lambada, teaching and demonstrating in clubs. Late forties to date still dance everything but enjoy Argentine Tango most, I teach, present shows and socialise.

My ballroom experience commenced whilst I was living in Asia where I was lucky enough to have regular private lessons from Phillippino professional dancers. Since coming back to the UK I have been attending group ballroom classes but I am keen to learn at a much higher level. I take monthly private lessons also and would be keen to have more if costs could be shared with a partner.

I also attend regular Lindy Hop classes and camps and have been on several salsa dance holidays to Cuba.

Sarah is a Chicago based dancer with over twenty years of training and experience. After a start in classical ballet training, she has studied many forms of dance including modern, contemporary, jazz, American smooth and rhythm. Sarah has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Arts Management from the State University of New York Purchase. She spent four seasons with the Chicago based modern contemporary company Nomi as a performing artist and is currently an instructor and professional competitor with Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

I am an international dancer who lived and danced in Switzerland, Mexico, US, Brazil, Panama, and Estonia. I have been dancing different dances for almost 20 years. In addition, I have been a certified Zumba instructor for 8 years. I have taken dance courses and dance kinesiology in college. Furthermore, I also took Latin Rhythm instructor courses in Mexico. I fell in love with Tango about 5 years ago when visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina and has been there over 10 times to improve on my tango skills.
