Beginning dancer started around March of 2022 and have been taking private lessons for the past year progressing to bronze level in competitions in Waltz,Tango,Foxtrot,Rumba,Cha Cha,East Coast,West Coast and Bolero.

Beginner ballroom dancer

I have been ballroom and latin dancing now for about 4 years. I attend a class once a week for an hour, and really enjoy it. I am looking to dance more often and would just like to meet someone to do this with. For me dancing is my greatest passion, and the one physical activity, I could not live without, I started dancing at the very young age of four at a school performance gala and have never stopped since. I consider myself to be a gentleman, friendly and patient with my partners, I also consider myself to be smart and thoughtful, outgoing, sexy and elegant and a man that is true to his word. I started dancing over 10 years ago and have taken lessons on and off over the years. I have done collegiate and Pro/Am competitions. I also did a non competitive show dance team for 2 years. Last year I transitioned from a student to a teacher at my studio but when covid hit I wasn't able to keep my job. I can socially dance almost any style and I have experience in both International and American styles.

Optimistic and a good social mixer. Stable and financially secure with wide cultural interests. I have come to adore dancing in all forms and can now scarcely get enough of it. I have achieved IDTA President's award level. I have recently started to enter competitions and achieved reasonable success - although I'm not highly competitive I enjoy the challenge. I have a dance partners but she can't commit the time I would like. I would ideally like a partner who could put in the great amount of time that I want to commit to continuing lessons and becoming as good a dancer as possible. I work with one of the best teachers in UK on Ballroom and have stayed in Buenos Aires several times and studied Argentine Tango under some of the best teachers there. I am now able to teach in the style of social dancing from Buenos Aires (not show/stage style). It would be great to introduce a new Ballroom partner to this.

I have been dancing since childhood. I love to dance and wish I could dance more often. Although I am enrolled in ballroom dance classes/lessons, I need to practice to improve. Unfortunately my husband cannot be my partner because he is a non-dancer. I like to go out to social dancing. Since he does not dance, my husband has no objection if I go to dance halls with a dance partner.

Serious dance geek, originally from Montreal but have been living in central BC (that's British Columbia) since 1994. Started dancing in 2012 and never looked back! Have been in an organizer role in my small city for over a decade, now, teaching beginner swing dances and salsa, hosting monthly pub dances and collaborating with other dancers in town, all of us seeking to grow the community. Not interested in ballroom dances... prefer WCS, salsa, Vernacular Jazz dances... i also do enjoy a good NC2step. Adore the vernacular Jazz dances, like Lindy hop, Blues and Balboa, but there'as no one here to teach these, so that dance community is slow to evolve.

I have travelled to many events: Swingcouver, Sea to Sky, Sweet Side of Swing, Easter Swing, Extreme Swing, Lindy harvest, RCMA, Canadian Swing Championships, and various intensives in WCS. Would love a partner in crime to do alot more of these, in N/America and abroad! Want to go to Cuba for a salsa dance retreat, go to Herräng dance camp in Sweden, Budafest in January and other WCS events in France and around the world. I'm not wealthy, but I do work a lot and this is something I consider worthwhile spending.

Currently teaching salsa on Tuesday nights, and WCS/NC2step Wednesday nights, up at the university. Also, I host a swing 'n salsa pub dance once a month which is the best day of the month ;-)

Started some dance sport 1984 but stopped several times due to moving to other cities during my studies. Won several competitions during my high time between 20 and 25 years in Germany. Stopped dancing 15 years ago but wanting to restart again.
