I have extensive competition experience in Pro American Rhythm and have recently competed in Pro Latin also.

I love to dance, and love getting out and socializing. I have taken quite a few lessons over the years, wouldn't mind taking more with someone.

I work part time s a bookkeeper and like the outdoors. I enjoy bicycling, reading, sewing & golfing. I volunteer at the local animal shelter. I am currently looking for a best friend and dance partner all rolled into one. I'm from Indiana and have been in Florida 24 years.

Dancing is my passion. Living with my daughter in Simi Valley, I find it wonderful to get out and dance. Very passionate about West Coast Swing but also like Country Western two-stepping, East Coast Swing and social ballroom. Dancing keeps me fit and happy. I began dance with Country 2 Step. After 18 months I took up West Coast Swing and studied that for 5 years. Then I moved into International Latin and competed 3 times at the Bronze level. I have also performed in Niteclub, Rumba, Cha Cha, Rueda, and other dances. I then discovered Argentine Tango and pretty much gave up all other dances to focus on that. My Tango partner and I travelled to many events such as those in Portland, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Calgary, and Seattle. We did many workshops and private lessons with people such as Leonardo Barrionuevo, Jorge Torres, Diego Blanco, Gabriel Misse and many others. Check them out on YouTube. We developed a performance routine and have performed Tango at many events. I have performed with Rock Bands and the Kelowna Orchestra. I have probably done 70 to 100 performances in different dances. I also DJ and in Kelowna would DJ up to 7 events a month, including my own Milongas. I have taught Tango, Rumba, Niteclub and others.

Looking for the right partner to advance my skills in dance. I'm interested in social dancing, with performance and competition being optional. I've participated in both, and found that it really doesn't matter as long as I'm dancing. As a previous competitive athlete, I love hard work and discipline!

I'm a Christian and prefer to have a dance relationship with someone with Christian beliefs. I lean toward conservative politically, but am open-minded to others' political beliefs. Right now I emphasize West Coast Swing and Hustle in my dancing. I like to take dance lessons(group or private) and dance with others who take lessons. I'm not into competition dancing, but am willing to learn routines for exhibition purposes, or to share the experience with a dance partner.
