I am a retired accountant and have been dancing ballroom, latin and sequence for the last two years, and am looking for a partner for social dancing.

However I'm falling in love with Kizomba (fairly beginner) and would love to learn and dance Zouk as well. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist, as well as owner/operator of a private duty service. I possess a bachelors degree in psychology and started working on my masters degree in professional Christian counseling. I have four horses, 3 dogs and two cats. My heart is huge and am told I can be a bit stubborn at times. I have interests both outdoors and indoors. I started ballroom dancing June of 2013. I performed in a spectacular show, as well as Friday night dance parties and a charity event. In addition, I have competed 3 times this year. I love dancing. I have found dancing as a way of release, expression and art throughout my life span. I am currently on the senior bronze level with silver amalgamation. I have learned some silver steps and love them. I learned a little bolero and really like it. The levels of dance get better and better as one moves up. I love it so much.

I have been dancing since I was young, but only took up partner dancing in my junior year of college. I am interested in learning more dances, going to socials, and competing. I am an experienced competitor age of 62 in very good shape (I compete in tennis). I am very well coached in both smooth and standard.

I currently dance mostly in the Sunnyvale area a couple times per week to keep things tweeked. After September 2016 will spend a bit more time dancing.

I am level headed and approach dance in a mature manner. Of late, after a break from dancing, I feel I am doing some of my best dancing with expressiveness and technical proficiency combined.

For me dance is at least in part about shaping movement and rhythm and togetherness with a couple who works together on the floor to enjoy the Zen like challenge of expressing themselves. The sense of a mature humbly confident expression of dance leaving the fear behind and knowing that what you are doing is the best you can do and enjoying it. I'm a dance instructor & social dancer. I enjoy a variety of club/rhythm dances such as West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Blues, Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, Cumbia, Zydeco, etc. I am currently learning Argentine Tango, and enjoying the challenge! I like to social dance on the weekends and I also enjoy choreographing routines & performing (but not competing). I teach Latin & Swing dances to teens & adults.

I've social danced for quite a few years but only started seriously training for competition about 5 years ago. I can teach, social dance, or perform most styles(WCS, salsa, lindy, rhythm, smooth, etc) but I am only interested in competing International.

Most of my competitive training has been in Latin and my primary coaches has been Olga Kormanovskya, Eddie Ares, and Ana Llorente.

I have coached with quite a few different instructors for Standard and have a good portfolio of steps and a decent foundation of technique but will need additional coaching and practice to compete at an open level.

I took dance lessons at Arthur Murray for two years and then with an independent instructor for a summer. I am currently dancing at a "Bronze 4/Silver 1" level. I love it and would like to spend more time dancing socially. I would also be open to training for some competitive dancing, and because I work part-time, I would be able to commit to some time for that. I think that dancing is addictive. It keeps you young and fit. It helps that I like music as well. I play the piano and enjoy all types of music, for listening as well as dancing. If you are wondering about my username, it is because a fellow student starting calling me the Samba Queen because I always got a major grin when I was dancing the samba. Love it!

I have always enjoyed dancing. I started with ballet and kept dancing all throughout my life. I have fun moving and find dancing to be the best drug ever! I am Persian and in my culture dancing is an important part of family celebrations.

Luckily, I was fortunate enough to retire early and I thought now is the time to enjoy my passion for dancing. I recently completed private West Coast Swing lessons and now I would love to continue enjoying this dance. I know East Coast pretty well and enjoy doing the Cha Cha, Salsa and other dances. I have been dancing for over five years. I would love to find someone who especially enjoys dancing the West Coast Swing. Hello, I live in the San Fernando Valley.Although I am age 60 I’ve been complimented for looking younger. I have a lot of energy! I have been country dancing for over 30 years. I consider myself an intermediate level dancer. Country two-step, cowboy cha-cha, desperado wrap are my favorite dances. I have been complimented by several women that I am a strong lead thus I am seeking a partner who has couples country dance experience.What is most important is that the woman be a responsive follower. Having that special partner that feels like we are dancing as one is a rare find. I hope by putting myself out there, I will find a great partner to dance with on a regular basis. I picked up dancing at the start of 2019, so about a year's experience. I've taken lessons for Blues, East & West Coast Swing, and Lindy Hop.

I started Latin dance 2 years ago, but couldn't take it seriously, then I switched to lindy-hop and wanted to be awesome but my energy and body capabilities do not match. Then may 2015, I started west coast swing and now August of 2015, my instructor thinks I'm ready to compete. So I'm up for west coast swing competition partner, the rest I would like to learn casually and I'm up for that.

Since the beginning of C&W, I helped to create the syllabus for this dance for the whole US.. Obviously, I had a dance partner and we went on to become a championship caliber couple. Later, I opened a studio and offered choreography and coaching. Prior to C&W, I was an accomplished disco dancer, specializing in the Hustle. Later, I picked up some proficiency with West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and some ballroom dancing. My goal is to move forward from where I left off and create new patterns and amalgamations. Also, I want to re-visit ballroom, mostly the Latin dances, and create some fusion dances as well
