I have a passion for dancing and do it for enjoyment only. While I dance with some advance-level dancers, my dancing is uneven... some days excellent... some days off balance. That\'s why I\'m looking for regular practice.

Learnt ballroom many years ago and decided to get involved again. I have a private and group lesson each week in Adeliade. Working at acheiving medal standard and competing in social competitions. Would love to have a partner.

I am a ballroom dancer with 18+ years experience. I was married (now divorced) to a ballroom dance teacher so I’m used to dancing w someone who knows how to dance. I would not consider myself a professional dancer but I am more advanced than a beginner. I enjoy all smooth n Latin dances and can follow most leads.

I am able to follow two-step, triple step, waltz, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Fox Trot, Hustle, and Night Club 2-step. I've had some sort of lessons in most of these dances, and am still taking lessons now.

Currently enrolled in East Coast, West Coast, and Lindy Hop. I've taken one Balboa class and would like to take more (they're tough to find in the Twin Cities).

I love dancing, especially latin and smooth. I like working on technique and seeing my progress.

(My profile needs updating. Please bear with me. I'm finishing up graduate school at the University of Central Florida and am not living in NC currently. I continue to train, but I'm not seeking a dance partner at the moment due to the demands of my studies.)

I just relocated to NC from NY about 6 months ago. I’m new to the area and want to meet other ballroom dancers. I’m a very seasoned ballroom dancer and at this point feel quite comfortable and at ease doing it. I really like it and have fun doing it. I’ve danced with dancers at all levels and from different backgrounds and it has been interesting. I just want to immerse myself into the ballroom dance scene here and continue ballroom dancing. I’m hoping this website and the community here would help me try to do that.

I learned both American (rhythm and smooth) and International (Latin and standard) styles of ballroom dancing, taking private and group dance lessons with professional dance instructors in both styles. I competed in both collegiate/amateur and pro-am ballroom competitions---mostly collegiate/amateur competitions, placing finals in bronze, silver and eventually gold International-style Latin and standard events. I’m also an avid social dancer, having attended many USA Dance-organized socials and dance studio-hosted socials in Manhattan. I’ve also performed in some ballroom dance showcases and team dances before live audiences.

Hi, I am fun loving and have a pretty good personality and enjoy dancing very much. I have taken social dance classes up to some silver. I have taken International for 2 yrs but haven't had too much practice lately. I am a good follower and a fast learner. Should our partnership develop into something of a more personal nature, I would be open to it. Shift into BLISS through dance! Once upon a time, figure skating was my all consuming PASSION. I've always loved being in motion, (ballet on ice, dancing, cycling,...). I LOVE the sensation of what I call 'flying on the ground'. Most of my dance experience has been in free form, some contact improv, and jazz dance. Now I would love to hugely improve my ballroom (partner dance) skills, explore the different styles of dance and eventually become very adept in Argentine Tango. Exercise and have fun at the same time!

I hope to compete. As a danceaholic I’m looking for a dance partner--no, not to dance through life with happily ever after, LOL. Seriously, a dance partner: someone who's willing to learn to dance or already knows how. If he turns out to be "the one", so much the better, but those things happen by themselves, naturally, without any effort.

I have dual careers: one intellectual and one artistic. I have an advanced university degree. I've worked in 43 countries and 34 states. Am working on a Ph.D. on a catch-as-catch-can basis/ Adore schmaltzy songs from the 1930s and 40s such as “DANCING CHEEK TO CHEEK”, “AT LAST” and “MY HEART STOOD STILL”.

I also enjoy dancing traditional dances to wild, contemporary music such as "DYNAMITE" by Taio Cruz, "BRING ME A HIGHER LOVE" by Steve Winwood, and "HOT HOT HOT" by Buster Poindexter.
