I am looking for a social dance partner in my area to attend lessons & social functions and to enable me to develop my dancing further. I will be willing to travel up to 20 mile radius of St Helens as long as the person also travels to my area too.

I have been dancing for 12 years now, mostly modern jive (ceroc), have done West Coast Swing, Salsa and Tango. I wish to move on to a more advanced level which is only possible with a dance partner. An example of the type of dancing I would like to do, is shown in the video that I have added to my profile. My main goal is to enter competitions.

--I started my Ballroom lessons--Fred Astaire--Sarasota, FL1995---Learned basics of most dances---Waltz, foxtrot, samba, rumba, mambo, tango, hustle, swing, west coast swing, east coast swing. Won a small local contest in Latin division. Started learning Argentine tango, not able to complete lessons, Would really like to complete- but no partner.

Ballet/Tap when I was a kid; belly dancing a couple years ago; salsa a while back, and now have an interest in Argentine Tango. I play in a community tango orchestra that performs maybe 4 - 5 times a season (Sept - June), and we don't play until late in the evening. Most of the musicians can dance, but I can't, so I want to change that so I'm not on Facebook on the sidelines before it's time to play. :) Separately, I want to get back into salsa dancing.

I am originally from Great Britain. I am a Social Worker and a successful plus size model as well as the current Ms. Full-Figure USA 2008. So you can see why I like to stay as active as I can. I have lived here in the states for about 20yrs and love it. Ballroom dancing is grounded deep with in me. It brings out the best of me and I find ballroom dancing ooh.. soo..seductive. I have been dancing for about 8yrs (socially and pro-am). I dance on average 3-4 days a week for about 1-2 hours. I dance most ballroom dances, American and International, but I mostly love International and American Latin. My favorite dances are the Salsa, Paso Doble, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and Argentine Tango. P.S. don't my size fool you I am extremely flexible and light on my feet. I also enjoy performance for my fellow dance peers.

I am 35, I have been going to salsa classes for 5 years I have been to both Cuban salsa and Cross body salsa, I also like Jive, Rumba and ballroom Waltz and quick step and fox trot.

I've started dancing when I was 7-8 and continued for around 8 years. After I got injured, I took a little break and then I didn't have time to train. However, I miss dance so much and I'd like to start and practice again. Mostly socially, but I'm open to competitions as well.

I love to dance! It is something that makes me very happy and would like to do it more often. I was considering doing competitive dancing. I have never really had a proper Latin dance lesson. I learned to dance because of social events and friends. I would like to learn to dance salsa better.
