I have been taught international latin dance for 6 years and I have been taking part into competitions in Greece.I have also taken contemporary and ballet lessons for two years and know I am studying dance at the university.

I was in a partnership, competing in standard until April 2008 (last comp: US Nationals, where we placed third). My partner was a student and graduated so she moved away, and now I am looking for a partner to compete with, again in standard. I have been dancing on and off since then, with a few minor comps in 2009. I have trained with Rauno Ilo in Indianapolis, and would probably like to continue to do so, although that may be flexible.

I've done some low to mid level instruction for Blues and Lindy Hop (worth Googling if you've never seen it), and one of my life goals is to have danced in every state. Given infinite money and no responsibilities I'd spend the rest of my life travelling and dancing.

I should say, dance is my life. At least, I wanna make dance ... my life. Cause after I learn a bit of latin dance steps... my life become unbearable without dance. I feel like I am dying if I stop dancing for 2 weeks. As the days pass without dancing, I feel like I am dying just like a flower without water.

I feel healthy, I feel energic and happy when I am dancing. Dance make me the happiest person in he world and it also helps me to find myself, the real me inside... When I start practicing dance, I forget everything... such as eating, sleeping, resting... These r all natural life necessities I know but I do not have a feeling that I need any of those while I am dancing regularly... But I do need a good advanced partner who feels similar about dance and willing to compete in an international competition.

I know that saying "dance is my life" so much for me cause I am not a proffessional dancer, neither an advanced one. But this is what I've aimed to be. And I know that it's not an easy goal for me to achieve but I am still optimist about my future as a latin dance competitor cause I also know that if I want something, I get it; no matter how difficult to get or what I should give for it... I am Political Science and Public Relations high honour graduate and at the moment working as a General Editor Director of my woman magazine group in my country. And I AM WILLING TO CHANGE THE REST OF MY LIFE FOR DANCE; my career, my work, the place I live in,...etc. This seems to be a very important decision for someone to change everything for dance but for me, dance worths these and even more... I mean my dailly schedule is all free for dance, full week and weekend, non-stop practices, hard workshops, latin dance shows, latin nights, parties and even travel for compepitions,...etc. as long as it is good for improoving my dancing styles. I am also looking for a good latin dance course/school/faculty/university or whatever... There's nothing I cannot do, for dancing in an international dance competition.

I am a highly motivated and highly competitive individual with a huge passion for dance. I have been very successful in the pro-am circuit but am looking to bring my dancing to the next level. For the last three years I have focused my training in Latin and International Standard, but am open to American Rhythm and Smooth as well.

Have been an active social dancer for more than 10 years. Have taken ballroom lessons during this period but with no partner and no practice, I end up losing the dance. Dancing is great for my soul. Lately my dancing has been limited to a weekly Zumba class or hula hooping in my living room with music.

I began dancing and competing my freshman year of college and fell in love with competitive ballroom. My previous partner and I just placed out of Syllabus Standard by taking Overall 1st in Gold at the MIT Open. We even got to semi-finals in Waltz/Quickstep while goofing off with brand new Open routines in Pre-Champ. While in Baltimore I was pushing through Pre-Champ. Now I am in the Twin Cities starting my PhD

I hope to find another competitive dance partner or practice partner in to keep this momentum up with in Open. Though I am open to other styles, I hope to find someone who would like to practice International Standard in particular. My focus has been Standard but I am trying to expand my repertoire of Smooth figures and outside of partnership work as well. Of all the styles I compete in my favorite's favorite's is hands down International Viennese Waltz. My short term goals would be to work up to a strong (placing) PreChamp partnership efficiently and effectively. Long term goals would be to become a wickedly awesome Champ standard dancer. I can be intense about my passions and Standard is a passion. I am used to pretty rigorous training (on a bit of a budget) and would love to find a partner as interested in Standard as I am.

But life isn't all about competitions. I have recently taken up lindy hop and blues dancing for the social dance floor and love to go out social dancing. This is frequently the highlight to my week. Putting my competitive streak aside, I am generally a low key, social, somewhat bubbly person.

I have been dancing East Coast swing for 16 years, am a strong follow, I love to be led by a confident lead. Have done some blues dancing and Lindy hop, although the Lindy is a little rusty. Always interested in learning and improving.
