I have been dancing for three years now and really love it, I have silver bar in ballroom and silver in latin american, I like rocknroll, swing jive and salsa too. I go to both Rock n roll/jive dances and ballroom dances.

I love all types of dance - I got into East Coast Swing, Lindy, Balboa, etc many years ago, but had to take an extended break. I've been doing a lot of work on my physical fitness and am ready to dance again - better than ever (I hope :)). Currently, I'm taking classes in Lindy and East Coast Swing! I love the fun culture of these dances, and I would like to find someone in my area to learn and practice with. That said, I'm open to any style of dance in addition to ECS/Jitterbug/Lindy and want to practice, dance regularly, and improve.

I am a professional dancer trained in dance for theatre. (Jazz, ballet, commercial, latin/ballroom, partnerwork). I have worked onboard cruises, and have contacts in these jobs and looking to find a dance partner for this.

My dominant dance is West Coast Swing which I started just before the first season of Dancing with the Stars. I did my basic training under SF Bay Area teachers such as Richard Keer, Randy Krull and Michelle Kincaid (and her late husband, Robert). My favorite ballroom teacher has been Robin Rebello who, alas, headed off to the cow pastures of East Texas to enjoy her retirement. I was a big fan of hers because of the sense of humor she put into each and every lesson.

My second most favorite dance is probably Night Club Two Step. I also do East Coast Swing, American Slow Waltz, Foxtrot (boxstep rhythm), Country Two Step Merengue, Salsa and Cha Cha. And I have shamelessly substituted Country Two Step for a Quick Step many a happy time.

Over the past year, I have come to enjoy the simple pleasure of Cajun Zydeco, which can accomodate just about every figure I can throw at it. And yes, I *still* enjoy free-style, rock 'n' roll and disco dancing which I did years before I every did any ballroom at all. Free-style dancing along with some occasional Blues, dancing really loosens me up.

In reality, I spend most of my floor time East Coast Swing at Zydeco dance parties at Ashkenaz and also in El Cerrito.

I've once tried like hell to do Argentine Tango, and had a great teacher, a manager of tech nerds like me. But failed, though for the right lady, I would give a go once again. (At one time there were a few moves called Swango, but has been lost to the mists of history.)

I am eager to spend time with you at the table getting to know you, long before we hit the dance floor. Food and drink are entirely optional, but always welcome in moderation.

I am a beginning dancer not seeking to compete in competition. Athletic in many ways, I think dancing can be fun and a good work out. With the right person, it can be sensationally fun.

I've been a dancer all my life and took up ballroom about 10 years ago.

I first started dancing in 1978 in Ballroom classes in college. Then as now, there is a shortage of male partners. I still love to dance. I have learned many genres of dance. I am looking forward to the next one.

Specifics on square dancing. I am a good A-2 dancer. Dancing at mainstream class level would not be a good fit for me. Sorry.

Have a good sense of rhythm and good form. Do not push people around the floor. Cha cha and hustle are 2 of my favorites, but I enjoy all the ballroom dances.

3 years of studio training and on a college team

I have danced and performed in various styles of dance. I am a member at a local dance studio and attend CW and East Coast swing dance halls on a regular basis.

I have been a dancer since I was 3 and trained really hard until I was 18. After that i had serious injury and couldn't dance as a professional anymore. After many years i feel that i can't live without dances, so i really look forward to any opportunity to come back to dance world.

I have started to learn argentine tango privately with 2 separate professional tango dancers a few months ago including one renowned for shows in various countries. I am about to take part in a professional video shoot with one of them but I am not a professional dancer myself (albeit I started dancing other dances very young).

I'm a mother of three and with all of them grown and away from home, I feel this is now time to get out enjoy life and with my love of music and desire to dance, I'm ready to sharpen my dance skill. I currently live in the Greensburg IN area but have been venturing to the Cincinnati, Florence and Indianapolis areas to dance.

I am currently an amateur dancer competing pro/am in American Rhythm and Smooth, some night club, and Argentine Tango styles at a studio near Cincinnati, OH. I have been studying ballroom with a wonderful pro instructor for 9 years and before that danced ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. I am looking for a partner to practice and possibly participate in Am/Am competitions.
