I've been dancing in total for almost 23 years. I was a Ballerina for 16 years, acrobat/contortionist for 8, and then switched to ballroom 7 years ago. In this time I've competed American Rhythm, I'm also willing to switch to Latin and would also be interested in Theatre arts. ***My dancing background includes 14 years International Latin, 8 years in American Smooth and Rhythm, 14 years in Salsa and Bachatta. I used to compete Pro/AM for many years and have been in the ballroom scene for the last 20 years.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba. I have a dream and a plan to perform partner dancing with lifts and tricks...creating a platform and sharing a message of freedom and passion, starting locally and then around the country and world. In 2024, created and performed live event “Voiceless” using cabaret dance, theatre and song. See photos. Competed at the Ohio Star Ball November 2024 winning Best of the Best in cabaret. I love all genres of music including country western from my roots in Kansas.

I love to perform with variety of character and genre/style. I am not truly ballroom because I am out-of-the-box and more free-spirited in my approach and style. While I want my technique to be flawless, I value soul and passion and sharing true personality and character the most.

I have been dancing and singing musical theater for many years. I have also been involved in something called contact improvisation. I am extremely eager to find a regular committed dance partner so that I can become proficient and have wonderful experiences with Latin and ballroom dancing on a regular basis.

Retired dancer owner instructor performer competitor..mostly Latin.. especially salsa..some ballroom.. yes i said i was amateur its time ro return to being a student..nowadays just want to practice and go out to nightclubs and enjoy but am very much into lifts drops side by sides footwork old school salsa different styles..I still have a vision..also inflemuences in jazz etc..freestyle locking jazz..I can still move very well and I understand and feel music and love performing naturally and seeing the inspired reactions from people who are escaping their hard days including myself.

I am taking ballroom dance lessons and I am looking for a dance partner to practice with. I am in the bronze program.

Ballroom dancing started as a covid hobby and I would like to get better at it. I danced ballet and tap when I was younger and take dance seriously. My ballroom favorites are rumba and east coast swing but I am proficient in many others. I also recently re-started with ballet and tap dancing, mostly to help keep flexible and nimble but also because it is fun and keeps me moving when no partners are available. I compete at the bronze level in local competitions and am strongly motivated to keep getting better.

I trained in competitive ballroom dancing for 15 years and returned to the studio a year ago after a long break. It is currently difficult to define my exact class level, but approximately I am at C level. I have a solid technical foundation and a good understanding of technique. I enjoy both Latin and Standard. Depending on my partner, I am open to focusing on Latin, Standard, or both programs.

I am committed to regular training and participating in competitions. I am ready to invest in the process, including private coaching.

I've been dancing competitively for 7 years now and plan to continue taking lessons, training, and competing. I started with american style but quickly switched to international and have been doing 10 dance ever since. I currently train standard with Andriy Mikhailov & Ekaterina Popova and latin with Daniel Hustic & Asta Sigvaldadottir. I am very dedicated and have a very competitive spirit.

Total AMATEUR except freestyle. I've dabbled with 2 to 3 WCS brief lessons that I haven't practiced and struggle to remember so I need to practice. I’ve been a feeestyle dancer all my life. People used to pay me money to do the twist when I was 4 years old (jukebox quarters heheh). I’ve done some line dancing both CW & hip hop, Cupid shuffle, electric slide, stroke, wobble, and wop. Learned the cowboy cha cha partner dance quite awhile ago and two step, during a CW phase. Dancing is my favorite form of exercise and entertainment. Know a bit of salsa, Cumbia, cha cha, salsa mostly from you tube. I feel I am a quick start and would like to take some classes in WCS and Latin dances I can follow a good lead pretty well.I would love to have a dance partner to learn with me and maybe participate in events.

I have been a competitive ballroom dancer, teacher and performer for over 20 years. My mother was also a professional ballroom dancer. She danced with her brother Art in a lot of the big cities in the United States, But mostly in New York. When I was a senior in High School, I was voted best dancer for the yearbook. After college, I got a job at Arthur Murray's dance school. I taught at the Arthur Murray's in Wayne PA., Narberth PA. and Wilmington DE. Today I have my own dance business.

Started taking lessons in 1987 at 26 years old. Now 64 and still taking lessons. Work on it as if competing but prefer social dancing. Like most of the dances with a slight preference for the smooth dances.

I've tried other Latin styles and don't like learning set dance sequences; I prefer to learn the basics and learn to lead the unexpected!

I've danced all my life and taught kids in tap, jazz, baton twirling etc. but recently I've wanted to occasionally take advantage of social dance opportunities and lessons. While I've not had much experience social dancing I pick up very quickly. Just looking for an occasional dance partner - no relationship - other than friendship. Male or female is fine.

Starting in 1995, I practiced ballroom dancing. I participated in tournaments in Ukraine. I dance all ten dances in the international competitive ballroom discipline. I stopped dancing in 1999 and resumed training in 2001. I again took part in tournaments in Ukraine. At the same time, I enrolled in a педагогический university in the choreography department. I have some experience working as a dance instructor. I studied at the university for two years but did not complete the program.
