Pre-Champ/Champ Standard dancer graduating law school and transitioning into a focus on career. Looking to find practice partner/partners to maintain current proficiency level with. Would like to take lessons, but may have unpredictable work schedule. Looking to practice 3-6 hours a week, depending on work conditions.

I've been ballroom dancing for a total of 7 years - my favorite dances are waltz, foxtrot, nightclub two step, and hustle. I dance the latin dances, but I'm not that good at them. I started dancing the Argentinian Tango two years ago. What a wonderful dance - I've been bitten by the Argentine Tango bug! But it's difficult finding a suitable partner.

Just wanted to update this profile - I haven't been on the site in quite some time (since last year actually) and haven't actually been doing any dancing either, so apologies to anyone who has sent me a "hello" message and not gotten a response.

I've been dancing since late 2014 and fell in love with it straight away. I'm very keen and have dance about a minimum of 5 hours a week ever since. I have competed in Classical/Modern/Ballroom Medallist of the Year competitions.

I currently see Mark and Olga Eldsbury for lessons between 7-10 a month and practice 2-3 times a week.

I enjoy all aspects of dancing from Social dancing/Holidays and all different types of competitions.

I began dancing ballroom competition at 6 years old and did it almost 10 years.At the same time I learnt ballet as well. After 9 years of ballet school I worked 10 years as a professional ballerina at the theatre Vanemuine. During several summers I learnt Ar.tango,salsa and other latin dances in Spain and became a dance teacher.( I've also done belly-dance and flamenco.)

I'm pretty laid back, with a sense of humor and adventure.

Recently discovered Lindy Hop and love it. Also open to learning other types of dances.

I dance to traditional country/western music (70’s, 80’s and 90’s)—not today’s contemporary C/W dancing. Of course, I enjoy good ‘ole rock ‘n roll music and dancing as well. Plus, you can throw-in big band, swing, easy-listening and some disco. Enjoy dancing whether it's "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound", "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" or "In the Mood"!

I don’t know anything about categorizing music or dance steps; I just know whether I “like” it or not. Similarly, I know nothing about the website’s proficiency rating system. I selected a rating of “8” before I realized that the rating system is probably based on a standard ballroom scale.

I neither ballroom dance nor care to learn; I’m quite content with my proficiency as a C/W dancer; but, I would like to try to Shag since many of my C/W steps are similar.

I have never had dance lessons unless you want to count my secretary’s instructions. In fact, I never would have gotten in to dancing if my secretary had not insisted that our Department have happy hour at the new, fancy upscale C/W bar down the street from our bank, back in John Travolta’s days of “Urban Cowboy”. Just leaning to ballroom dance I would love a dance partner

I'm currently taking private lessons that encompass ballroom, argintine tango and swing and country dances. I'm very dedicated and love to dance. Looking for a male partner with strong dance ethics and commitment to the dance. Dancing is oxygen to my soul.

I have only been dancing occasionally since the pandemic, but I really would love to dance on a regular basis. I had been dancing for several years prior to the epidemic - primarily ballroom, Argentine tango and salsa, but so much since then. Now I have new knees and I’m ready to go. I moved to The Villages in the Spring of 2022, and I am looking for a dance partner. I just can’t get that dancing bug out of my system.

I don't drink or smoke.

You may be a better dancer than me, but my sense of humor should help that situation.

I have been dancing for 7 months, I am told I pick up fast, was doing the advanced second lesson and have started taking technical classes, and have been previously told I am advanced. Looking for an experienced dance partner to dance lead for DanceSport Competitions. I have a passion for standard ballroom and wanting to do standard in competitions.

I took ballroom lessons for a few years.

Have danced socially for many years, but never had my own partner to work on any style. I completed my Bronze Medal in Latin & Ballroom some years ago and began my Silver a couple of years ago but the Foxtrot particularly was difficult to practice without a partner.

I discovered ballroom dancing in 2016, and knew it was for me. Began my dance study (if you will) in group classes and then added private lessons. Early in 2018, I focused on Smooth and in recent months, I added more of the Rhythm dances. I continue to work on and improve my following skills in both group and private lessons.

It seems it requires practice, practice, practice... and then sometimes, I just gotta relax, laugh at myself, and just enjoy moving around the floor. You know, and actually enjoy the music and dance.

I have taken ballet and tap as child and was a cheerleader junior high through high school. I am open to all types of dance, but have taken classes on East/West Coast Swing. My goal is to improve my knowledge of dance styles and skills while being social and making friends.

Danced for a few years as a student in the Fred Astaire studio in Ft Walton Beach, Fl working through my Bronze program. While there, I got a few amateur competitions under my belt as well as a few show performances. Moved to NC and wasn't able to find a studio that was close enough to go to regularly, so I danced on and off for a couple more years. Now its been about a year and a half and I miss it too much. I wish I could practice everyday learning as much as possible, but for now I think I would like to focus on the social dances and just have fun.

I love dancing. Right now I do Zumba 3-5 times/week. But I would love to find an active partner who would enjoy dancing as much as I do.
