I dance salsa. I started learning ballroom a few years ago and would like to learn more ballroom to dance it regularly

Im an amateur and love the arts. I do 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance, and went to a performing arts high school as a youth. I love reggae, a good afro-beat and latin music to dance to mostly, but I listen to all sorts of music. If I like the groove I'm in. :) I did Tango a year pre pandemic (group classes and private lessons). I got an injury in my foot and had to stop. By the time it healed the pandemic hit, then life happened. I got back into it last year in October in group classes, and started private lessons by the end of the year. I recently was able to take a Tango class in Germany on vacation and felt right at home. :)

I used to dance as an amateur in international style latin. I’m looking for partners to go to social dancing events. Clubs or wherever there is dancing for people my age.

I would be interested in senior competition dancing with the right partner.

Started dancing (partly) to get over a fear of dancing (in public), then found that I wasn't terrible at it AND I enjoy it. No interest in competition or performance, but I enjoy social dancing and improving my skill. I really enjoy getting into how things work - patterns, lead/follow, music, etc., but I dance because I enjoy it and my partners (usually) enjoy it.

I am not new to the world of dance but have not done ballroom dancing in over a decade. I do teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. I am wanting to get into ballroom dancing again.

Dancing gets into your blood. I have a solid lead, strong but gentle. Currently, my favorites are: progressive 2 step, hustle, swing, waltz and foxtrot. Over the years Ive tried to learn a little about a lot and can dance to most styles. Im kicking around the idea of competing for fun.

Hello Fellow Dancers, I’ve danced over the decades since I was an adolescent, but if you add it together it’s about 2 years of experience. My goal is to become a bronze-level dancer. Taking lessons together would be good.

My first partner moved to New York after dancing with me for about 2 years. Since then I've had another short partnership that ended recently.

My notable result is winning Gold Standard at USA Nationals in 2010. Right now I am competing Novice Standard.

I usually practice at school (I am a member of their team). I would like to practice 4-5 times/week and take at least a lesson a week.

Dancing is one of my passions. I actually started dancing in my late teens with the Swing/Lindy Hop and I also know Standard and Latin ballroom (bronze/silver level), and Salsa (but mostly just for fun). I've been told many times that I pick up the steps easily and am easy to lead. With a good, strong lead, I can learn a dance on the dance floor, without a lesson. Well, not complicated steps. But, if I mess up something new on the floor, I'm willing to try again until I get it right. I like to take 1 dance class a week and go out dancing on the weekends, 2 to 4 times a month. High energy with lots of life left. Competing in Colorado Star Ball on June 18, 19, 20, 2009. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself. I'll be doing some of the camps as well. I'll be with the Booth's Dancesport group and as far as I know I am the only Sue competing from that studio. Besides that, I try not to let much moss grow. Have a pretty intense career, but am able to offset it with lots of dancing. What a great balance! Would love to find, first of all, a practice partner. Would like to find out how often is too often to dance. Its kind of like flowers or roses - how often is too often to get them and how many is too many? Well, I just don't know, but would sure like the chance to find out. I have gone beyond being a beginner and love dancing with upper experienced dancers because I know that will make me so much better. I have become so passionate and I might even have to say driven at the this point about being just as good as what I see on Dancing with the Stars and am convinced that I can pull it off. I am a bit old fashioned and love to be treated like a lady. Love dressing up for special occasions. Love to travel and want to see so much more of our world. Hoping dancing might lead to a few of those places. My favorite dances are Fox Trot - would love to be able to dance like Ginger - Lindy Hop and Swing, Cha Cha and oh yes Rumba - very sexy slow dance. American Tango has fast become one of my favs and now I have added Bolero and oh my gosh, with the right partner, what a dance! I have competed in a national Arthur Murray competition and many of their local ones during the past 5 years and am still seeking a dance/practice partner, even though I now have a fabulous instructor. It is the missing element for me.
