Growing up in a lower-middle class family of seven, my parents were never able to enroll me in very many extracurricular activities, due to financial constraints. Now, as an adult, I have decided that I would like to live my dream of learning to ballroom dance. So, in August 2010, I enrolled in weekly ballroom dancing classes at a local dance studio in Batesville, AR. In December 2010, my teacher introduced me to the world of social ballroom dancing in a club in Little Rock, AR, where I now go on Friday nights when my daughter's extracurricular high school band schedule permits. Personally, I feel that I pick up dances quite easily. Also, my teacher says I am a very good follower. My favorite dances are the Waltz and Foxtrot, and I would very much like to learn the Viennese Waltz, the Argentine Tango, and the Quick Step. If someone out there will just have a little faith in me, I am very willing to learn. I just need to find the right partner---one who complements me and I, him!

I'm a joyful smiling person -have danced most of my life- DANCE adds some of the greatest joy to my life. I'm willing to dance any/every dance - and would enjoy doing so - about 2/ perhaps more nights per week.

I'm free to travel and dance - etc etc.

I recently retired from competing at the Championship level in International Standard, but would like to continue dancing for fun and exercise.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I am young looking, stylish , beautiful, polite, considerate and classy.

I have a good sense of humer, flexible, easy going and like adventure, I like to travel, like to talk about politics and social issues.

I LOVE to dance, I love music and have been taking classes and had been dancing frequently almost a few times a week.

Dancing is now my number one hobby.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well-rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good, dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I moved back to the UK at the end of 2024, from a long period overseas. I used to dance several times a week about 20 years ago (Latin, ballroom, Salsa, Ceroc) but got distracted by the outdoors and other sports. Now I am mainly interested in Ballroom and Latin American for social dancing and lessons. I had been doing classes again for 9 months, until lock down. Currently been back at classes since I have recently gotten back into Ceroc socially.

I love to dance and enjoy the ballroom environment. Social dancing is at the top of my favorite activities. Practicing 2-3 times a week is the type of dance partner I am looking for. Friends and dance partner! I dance at the bronze level in most styles. Your level is important to me only to help you.

I like to live every day fully with quality lifestyle, recreation, friends. I am positive and open to new experiences and new places to explore. I am semi-retired, have a flexible schedule and would love to do more dance practice and social dancing at this time in my life.

I was an active salsa dancer for several years. I still dance but would like to practice more and strengthen my skills again. I also love bachata, cha cha and other Latin dances and would be open to learning swing. Dance, friendship and laughter are a great combination.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I have recently started learning to lead, so although I dance mostly as a follower, I am mainly here to seek out a follower with whom to practice as a leader. Learning to lead is fun, and I believe it has the added benefit of making me a better follower. Since I am still a "beginner" as a leader, I would be a good partner for a a beginner lady - or for a man who wants to learn to follow. But unlike most beginner dancers, I already have a solid frame, a firm-yet-elastic connection, lightness on my feet, a precise grasp of musical timing, and proficiency in basic technique.

Dances I am best at leading are: American Smooth waltz, foxtrot, and Viennese waltz; International Latin paso doble; and social dances merengue and polka. But I would like to learn to lead other dances. If we practice together for a bit and find that we are having fun, get along, and learn well together, we could even try performing in a showcase. I have already performed in one showcase as a leader, dancing paso doble with a female friend, and we had a blast.

Regarding my proficiency and experience levels: The largest percentage of my training is in International Standard (as a follower - at open gold level in waltz and foxtrot, and at gold level in the rest), but I am familiar with all styles of ballroom dance: standard, latin, rhythm, smooth, as well as various styles of swing and other social dances. If you want to me to estimate my proficiency level (as a leader or as a follower) for a particular dance, just ask - or better yet - meet me on the social dance floor. I go out social dancing 3-4 times per month, so it's not hard to meet up with me in a social dance setting.

I enjoy social dancing, and would like to improve my technique. I’ve danced in Spain, Norway and Boston.

Waltz foxtrot quickstep - I take some lessons every few years but need an experienced dance partner

I have no dance background, inspired to dance recently and want to push myself and practice as much as I can. I am a little hard on myself but easy to work with others. I have thought about competing but it’s not something that I’m focused on. Sadly my schedule is a little tight. I work Sunday- Friday. Only available Saturday all day and every other day 8am to 1pm.

I dance Standard, Latin, and Smooth, and I'm looking for a partner to practice with a few times a week so we can grow together. My goal is to compete in Amateur Novice, Pre-Championship, and Championship categories. I’ve been dancing Standard and Latin for almost three years, am deeply passionate about ballroom, and am highly dedicated to private training.

I grew up a competitive figure skater and dancer, changed to tennis in high school, running and triathlon in college, and now still race competitive in triathlon 11 years later. Dancing has always remained a huge passion of mine and I got into Latin style partner dancing last year. I started dancing tango and fell absolutely in love with it.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.
