Open standard dancer

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I am looking for a dedicated dance partner who is interested in entering competitions. I love all three styles: Latin, Ballroom and New Vogue. I am dancing at a studio where we do Composite medals and I have completed all Premier star and Oscar Medals and I am teaching social dancers. I am looking for a partner for Competitions. I would love to hear from you!

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I started salsa for a laugh 6 years ago and ended up loving it :)

I now go 4 times a week learning cross body and Cuban salsa.

I'm also learning Bachata, kizomba and zouk as well.

I would love to get to a high standard and perform and open my own club 1 day.

Started dancing at Arthur Murray in March 2017, trained with individual instructors for ballroom (American Rhythm and American Smooth, International , West Coast) and group lessons for Country. Dance socially. Performed in showcases.

I started dancing about 15 years ago. I was never in full “serious mode” — for me, dance has always been about enjoying the rhythm, having fun, and sharing a good vibe.

It’s mainly a hobby for now, but with the right partner… who knows? I’d be open to exploring even a competition path together.

Hey, for the purposes of meeting on here you can call me TMT, the natural red-headed firecracker! LOL! OK, if you're still reading, this is a good sign. One of my friends says I'm not funny, but I can really make myself laugh 😁 I try as much as I can in life to always be positive. In dancing I'm serious about learning, easy-going as a partner, and start from the attitude of "Let's have fun dancing together!"

My first foundation in dance is ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied for about 11 years in these dance disciplines as well as a few others. I performed often, and over the years also choreographed my own dance performance numbers. I have some theater training and experience, which I also feel helps me whenever I'm dancing for an audience.

When I was in college I finally got to try partner dancing for the first time and loved it! It was easy for me to pick up. I started with an introduction to Social Ballroom dancing at The Ballroom of Sacramento. Simultaneously, I took classes in East Coast swing there. I would go frequently to the Saturday night dances and I picked up the Hustle just by following a good lead. Some time after that I took lessons in Argentine Tango at Tango By the River in Sacramento. During this time I was also very active going to the Friday night event in Sacramento known as Midtown Stomp. There I picked up Lindy Hop; again without any lessons, just following good leads. I eventually tried West Coast Swing and immediately I was hooked!

I'm a relative beginner looking to find a partner to train and dance with regularly around Manila. Used to dance some Salsa and Sportsdance Latin some years back, but lost my partner and stopped.

I’ve been dancing many years and love bachata, salsa, east and west coast swing, two step. Can waltz a little and am open to learning other styles. I’ve taken lessons as a lead and follow in salsa and bachata, and as a lead in west coast (some time ago). Looking for a fun friend to get better with.

I have been dancing the hustle since I was 16 years old. I love to hear disco music and love to dance even more.

I used to dance salsa regularly before you-know-what stopped everything. Since the end of the lockdown, I've never really got back into it, as all the classes I used to enjoy never seem to have restarted. I danced tango for several years, so I know how much it helps having a regular partner for both motivation and making progress. Salsa is my first love, though. I am a beginner dancer. I have been practicing standard and latin dance since November 2025 at the Optimus dance club in Zagreb, Croatia. I am trained by renowned coach who is also a WDSF adjudicator.

In addition to my university diploma, I have also completed elementary school for classical music.
