I have had lessons but would like to dance socially and improve

I love to Dance. I took lessons many years ago but stopped when my husband became unwell.

I took more lessons a couple of years ago and undertook private lessons last year. i now dance as much as i can. I go to social dances and have many partners, hardly sit down, but not a regular dance partner. Have very definately caught the bug again!! [Never really lost it just circumstances intervened].am now taking private lessons and continue to improve.

Being a 60's girl I love jive and cha cha as well as ballroom. Have been learning Argentine Tango for over 2years and absolutely love it. Would love to find a partner for Argentine as well as for ballroom and Latin .

I love all dance, Am steadily becoming more proficient. Think I have a good sense of musicality, rhythm etc. Have been told I am a natural dancer and follow well.

I am young at heart, slim, fit, and as I'm now retired, have time to practise and go to tea dances or evening dances. I have a good sense of humour enjoy the theatre, ballet eating out, playing scrabble, travelling and seeing new places, and the sun.

i have danced modern jive for two years , and really enjoy learning ballroom , i am easy going and believe dancing should always be fun.

Been dancing a long while.

Whilst I enjoy dancing socially (Tea dances, Dinner dances), I particularly enjoy practising in order to improve on technique as well as learning new steps. I rate myself to be at intermediate level in Ballroom & Latin and I also dance the more common Sequence dances; I would just LOVE to learn the Argentine Tango!

Recently, due to no longer having a regular local Ballroom dance partner, I started attending Senior Ballet and Tap Dancing classes, as well as periodically attending a Scottish Country Dancing group - just in order to be dancing; I have found immense enjoyment in these forms of dance. Through dancing, my appreciation and enjoyment of music has also developed and widened.

Whilst just a social dancer, I aim to dance to the very best of my ability, learn new things and to have fun!

I am told that I am a good follower, am light on my feet and have good timing.

I am looking to return to dancing after a short break, keen to compete in open comps, ballroom senior pre-champ and above. I have been dancing for about 12 years, and am ideally looking for a partner from W. Midlands, S Chesire area.

I am from Germany. I speak Thai. My wife is from Si Saket. She does not like to dance -- there is no problem if I dance with others.

You might think that this is an old man who can't move any more.

But it is right the opposite. I'm one of the quickest salsa dancers over here.

I am a ballroom dancer and pursued competitive latin and ballroom dancing in latin dances until B-class and standard dances until A-class for over 8 years in the UK, Portugal, Germany and Switzerland. For 19 years I have been dancing Salsa on 1 and on 2, and Bachata, Kizomba for the past 8 years.

Now I have the pleasure to teach private dance classes and work in a lovely dance school in Zurich, Switzerland.

I have danced since my teens but with a long break. Been back dancing 15 years plus Latin and ballroom but also salsa, recently added swing/Lindy..

I have a happy, outgoing personality with a young at heart outlook. I am married but my husband does not enjoy dancing. I attend a dance school in my area at least twice a week. I currently dance with a partner 10 years younger but have to share!

I have been learning Ballroom dancing since 1987 mostly by going to group lessons in the old Wonderland and later on with Roberts, Case and B&H.

Not the average beer drinking, TV watching, middle of the road male! Tertiary educated, keen ballroom dancer, I value clear communication, respect for individuality, self-determination and the rights of all sentient beings. I seek health and constant learning over material possessions. My life style reflects my reasoning. My Chinese astrological sign is the fire boar! A healthy life style has become very important since I realized that without health money and possessions are useless. I try to live in harmony with existence and to me this means: - a 85% raw vegan diet which also excludes most animal products, avoiding as far as possible processed food, - a healthy life style which excludes all kind of drugs, prescribed or not; - exercise in the form of dancing: Ballroom (Latin, modern, and new vogue), and Taiichi and martial arts; - keeping my mind, body and spirit in balance by meditation, being aware of, and attempting to change the social and physical environment. I came to Australia in 1980, for many years I worked with computers but starting in 2000 I studied Mediation and Counselling. Currently retired and I spend a lot of time reading about alternative views of health, world politics, conspiracy theories; I practice Tai-Chi daily at Hazelwood Park and dancing in the evenings when I have a partner. Appearance:

I am 177 cm, medium built, reasonably fit, physically and intellectually active. I prefer to dress comfortable and casual. In my previous line of work I was required to wear formal business clothes. I am quite flexible about it.

Proficiency level of my dance partner doesn't matter, beginners are welcome. I tried changing the selection to "I don't care" but can't get the choice to make it into my profile. Dance skills 5, computer skills 0!

I know 40 sequence dances fluently. I go to social dances within 10 miles of home. My favourite dances are foxtrots, waltzes and tangos.

I dance Argentine Tango and always want to improve; I love that it is improvised and invites a response to the music and the occasion. I listen to the music rather frequently and occasionally play the music in small ensembles.

So how did I get here?

My interest in dance was re-kindled from the music and a desire to try something new and totally different. Whilst I enjoy a wide range of musical styles, my dance interest is focused on Argentine Tango. But I am enthusiastic and working to improve the quality of connection and communication through dance, allowing ample opportunity for a partner to express themselves and to practice on a shared agenda.

I have been working with several very supportive teachers, so opportunities for classes and milongas are always in the diary, if that is of interest. I'm also a musician and Tango DJ, so it goes without saying that interpretation of the music is a goal and the improvised nature of Argentine Tango is a perfect vehicle. I'm not interested in competition, medals or choreographed routines, but enjoy social dancing and continuously improving the dance experience. Maybe we'll meet at a milonga, somewhere.

I've practiced Ballet for almost 15 years, then I discovered partner social dancing and I fell in love with it. I started with Salsa and Bachata, then Swing and finally ended up taking ballroom/dancesport training classes 4 years ago.

I have been competing in the US for 3 years now, and I have reached the gold level in collegiate.

I have been dancing for many years, but took a brake from 9 years now. I miss dancing very much!! i used to dance NADB Ballroom and Latin amateur class, did formation and jazzbalet also. I'm a competitive dancer, competition dancing would be a big advance for me. I'm looking now for Ballroom, Latin or Salsa (no experience), Argentina Tango (no experience) or any other Latin America Dance. I'm highly motivated and have own transport. I just love dancing!
