Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

I am former competitive pro dancer with strong professional ballroom and ballet background. Over the years I won many first places in national competitions as amateur in Europe in International Standard and Latin as well as ballet and cabaret competitions.

I have performed with Ballet companies as principal and soloist dancer in the 90’s, as well as American Ballroom Theater Company in NY. Teacher, coach and choreographer for Ballet Arizona and Phoenix Ballet. Principal dancer with Phoenix Ballet.

I had the opportunity to train with many former world champions and coaches over the years.

Certified international judge in standard certified in smooth and Rhythm as well.

Retired from competition and dancing on stage. I may do on occasion Nutcrackers and acting roles.

I have done many other types of dancing but Zydeco is what I've always come back to.

I love the connection that can happen with partner dancing and I enjoy being very playful and fun when dancing.

I am very physically fit and do a lot of long distance bike riding. I yearly ride from Seattle to Portland in one day.

I am also into healthful eating and do not believe that western medicine has anything to offer me, except in an emergency.

I think preventative is the way to go.

I love all styles of dancing, although more of my focus has been salsa. I do a lot of social dancing. Would like to perform and/or compete.

Grew up taking ballet through my early teens. Love most music & dancing. Really want to learn West Coast Swing (since it works for most songs) but County 2-step & line dancing would be amazing too. I have been taking dance lessons for 3 years now. I love the social aspect and challenge of the sport. I am open to learning all styles of dance. My favorite so far are salsa, east coast, west coast, and nightclub two step. My goals in dance are to become an overall better dancer and more confident. I work hard and always try my best to put into practice what I learn. Most of all I aim to have fun.

I've taken lessons in west coast swing, argentine tango, ballroom (both international and American), Salsa and Bachata. I've done a little bit of Lindy Hop and Zouk.

I love dancing to live music. I want to learn more Lindy Hop moves- I already know the basics. I haven’t had lessons but I’d like to try some acrobatic dancing .But, I love all kinds of music.I go out dancing Friday, Saturday, , Sunday, and sometimes Tuesday ., sometimes for 6 hours at a time . I love R&B, hip-hop, jazz ,Irish music, cover bands are fun . I can also waltz and polka .I also take power walks every day, and do yoga weekly, in addition to dancing ( to stay in shape).

Started dancing in March when I went to Fred Astaire for the mother/son dance. Loved it! I’ve taken two lessons a day pretty much since then. I get extremely nervous performing.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Waltz foxtrot quickstep - I take some lessons every few years but need an experienced dance partner

My favorite dances include intermediate level Hustle, Nite-Club 2 Step, West Coast Swing. I also enjoy Waltz, Rhumba, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Tango, and Salsa . I would like to expand my repertory in all. Eventually I would like to learn the beautiful dance of Argentine Tango.

I love to dance and enjoy the ballroom environment. Social dancing is at the top of my favorite activities. Practicing 2-3 times a week is the type of dance partner I am looking for. Friends and dance partner! I dance at the bronze level in most styles. Your level is important to me only to help you.

Love music and couples dancing. Reasonably adept at beginner/bronze level Waltz, ECS, Lindy, Country two-step, NC-two-step; and Cha-Cha but mostly self-taught and not always a polished product : - ). West Coast Swing and many of the latin dances have always been a challenge for me and something I don't enjoy as much.

Love to dance using a STYLE/FLAVOR that fits the particular dance/music; definitely not cookie-cutter, nor one size fits all.

Dance, like life, is all about STYLE (i.e., presentation). While Jitterbug is an appreciated dance of fun, the preferred is the mix of dances found in an Amore, Pittsburgh Ballroom or Orchard Hill Dance.
