I love dance for sociability and for mental and physical health. I learn from online instruction WCS ECS and others. I am a retired Math instructor. I was extremely shy as a child and well into my youth... catching up on social skills ever since. Accustomed to living self-reliant alone, I married for the first and only time at 63 years... a good 15 year marriage, but as caregiver to my wife the last seven years before her death in January 2023. I am easygoing, gentle, and caring... risk averse, not competitive and don't follow sports. I am happy, healthy, fit and active, and I have always been self-care dilligent. I am debt free but not wealthy; my home passes to step children upon my death. I garden, foodscaping my home and sharing garden surplus.

I have always been interested in ballroom and latin dancing. I tried some lessons on and off over 40 years but never got going. Now I am keen to stop procrastinating and learn and practise to a level where I can start to compete.

I am just learning to dance but I enjoy Social dancing, some Latin and Ballroom

Been partnerless for a little bit now. First, due to life stuff, and now due to COVID stuff.

Started up weekly lessons in again recently. Hopefully as the world settles down, I can do more lessons and classes and practices and socials and all that fun stuff!

Been doing mostly Smooth for the past 5 years, with a few years experience in Standard, Latin, Rhythm and social dances.

I have been taking lessons for eight years. Typically two personal lessons and a group lesson or two per week. The pandemic changed up my schedule. I would like to consistently go out dancing socially, possibly competing at some point. I would love to find someone to practice with and go out social dancing.

Fully vaccinated and double-boosted. I'm more comfortable wearing a mask in the studio for now.

Currently studying for my Dance Vision teaching certification in the most gorgeous dance studio I've ever seen. (Did you know Dance Vision has some studio franchises in Texas?) Shaking the rust off after a 10-year hiatus from dancing.

I'm all about technique, and would rather do a few figures well than many figures poorly. I've been dancing and teaching since 1993, some Silver American Smooth and Rhythm, some International Standard and Latin. Studied under Russell Monk, Fred Dunn, Rickey Geiger, Ludwig Dahlberg, and Craig Bukowski, among others.

I've hit the road full-time in my vintage Shasta LoFlyte. I had planned to be in New England for the summer but with this crazy weather, I have to admit, I'm kind of scared to travel that far. I may have to tough it out in Dallas, Texas, for the summer.

I'm a non-smoking, non-drinking, vegan Christian. Sound like a barrel of laughs, huh? ;-) I really am very funny; well, at least I think I am...I also have a cat and a not-so-friendly dog, something people with severe allergies need to know. I'm willing to relocate for the right opportunity.

Movement is my language, and rhythm is my voice. With over a decade of dancing experience, I've honed my skills in various dances and developed a passion for connection and expression on the dance floor.

I am looking to return to dancing after a short break, keen to compete in open comps, ballroom senior pre-champ and above. I have been dancing for about 12 years, and am ideally looking for a partner from W. Midlands, S Chesire area.

I danced on the competitive team for the University of Minnesota for a year, and I fell in love with ballroom dancing. I am most familiar with American Smooth and American rhythm, but have dabbled in international standard and international rhythm. I'm looking to generally improve and it would be fun to compete.

Since 2015 I have taken both group classes and private lessons at several Arthur Murray studios and now am with an independent teacher and studio in Troy, MI. I have performed showcases of Argentine Tango, Viennese Waltz, and West Coast Swing and competed twice in the Michigan Senior Olympics. I checked out of Bronze IV in Waltz, Foxtrot, Argentine Tango, ChaCha, Rhumba and East Coast Swing. I am an active, fun, adventurous woman who has always had dancing in her blood. Earlier in my teenage, college, and graduate school years I was very involved studying, teaching and choreographing dance primarily ballet, modern, and jazz styles of dance. Now I am fortunate that I have discovered ballroom and Argentine Tango. Although I do and love many of the ballroom dances my passion is Argentine Tango. I have been involved in Argentine Tango for a number of years learning equally well both the lead (traditionally the man's role) and the follow (woman's role). I like dancing both roles. Knowing both has also been an asset in teaching Argentine Tango and in honing my ability to follow well any leader in any kind of ballroom dance.
