Background: Started at Arthur Murray Dance Studios and learned dances from dance champions such as Bob Powers and swing champions Marcus and Barble, World Lindy Hop Champions. I have been certified by the World Professional Dance Teachers Association. I am currently on a Salsa team called LA Fusion Dance Company.

I have been dancing and taking ballroom, swing and salsa lessons for ten years. I discovered swing dancing in 1995 after watching a movie called Swing Kids. Recently, I have been teaching and performing in the Los Angeles area. I have been in several dance companies. Currently dancing on a salsa team, and always taking jazz and ballet at the Edge in Hollywood. In addition studding flamenco. So if you like to work hard let's dance.

I love the sensuality of Latin dance. I'm focused on Salsa and New York-style Cha-Cha for now, have started on Bachata and would like to add Rumba and West Coast Swing later. I'm not particularly interested in competition, but I don't rule it out either. Mostly I hope for a partner who enjoys dancing for the pleasure in the movement and in our connection. My instructor says I'm at intermediate level in Salsa. I've been dancing solo (free style) all my life since I was a teen. I still love its free expression, but partnered dancing is more fun, and at moments, magnificent. I'm a joyful smiling person -have danced most of my life- DANCE adds some of the greatest joy to my life. I'm willing to dance any/every dance - and would enjoy doing so - about 2/ perhaps more nights per week.

I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

My favorite dance is salsa which is what I have the most experience in. I took classes for a couple of years and I take various workshops when I can. I also like other Latin dances such as cha cha and bachata in that order. I know those dances a little but not as much as I know salsa. I'm also open to learning other dances. Besides dancing, I work out 3-4 days a week work 40 hrs and try to enjoy as much free time as possible. For hobbies, I'm into home automation and electronics. I like to travel when I can and I do enjoy watching tv and movies at home and at the theater. I'm also open to trying/doing new things.

Enjoy ballroom both American and International. Favorite dances are foxtrot, rumba, bolero, cha cha, tango, Viennese waltz, quickstep, country 2-step, hustle, salsa & bachata.

I like to travel and also enjoy swimming and boating, skiing, art galleries and watching football games.

I enjoy a lot of activities - but dancing is the best.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

New to WCS which is my first partner dance, started about 4 months ago. I dance lead. Motivated to improve but I find there’s too many variables and not enough polite feedback understand to sustain a direction in my practice or gauge if I’m making progress.
