After ten years with modern jive I progressed to ballroom and latin. I've now got ten years of ballroom and latin under my belt with the last three years including Sunday League competitions.

Started dancing Ceroc, ballroom and Latin Nov 23 love it. I don't compete or do medals I just dance socially gor fun, and love lessons. I do a basic modern jive/Ceroc, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha lots of room for improvement and new steps. Still working on Tango and Samba. Want to continue learning and improving and learn different styles such as Salsa, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango etc anything really. Used to multiple partners in modern jive but only had one partner in ballroom.

I do a jive lesson & freestyle weekly in Fishbourne, weekly ballroom & Latin group lesson in Angmering. Freestyle monthly jive in Portsmouth and try to do a weekly social ballroom latin dance around worthing/Angmering.

I've got a fair amount of experience but I haven't gotten very far learning a lot of dance moves/patterns. Part of that is not having a consistent partner. It's somewhat pointless to take lessons and not be able to practice. My strength is my frame. I get a lot of compliments on that and also get compliments on how easy I am to follow. I know I still have a lot to learn in that regard. Just want to get better and dance for fun...

I would like to partner with someone interested in Ballroom American and Int. Smooth and Rhythm. I would like to practice a few times a week and dance at least once a week at Ballroom Dances. I love to dance and want to advance so I can enjoy the feeling of flying through space and time in that dreamlike state you get when perfecting the dance.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

Dance, like life, is all about STYLE (i.e., presentation). While Jitterbug is an appreciated dance of fun, the preferred is the mix of dances found in an Amore, Pittsburgh Ballroom or Orchard Hill Dance.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. I was a professional ballet dancer for several years, and when I "retired" due to an injury, I began ballroom dancing around 2012. For the past several years I have been competing pro-am smooth at open level, a few competitions per year. (I also did Latin and standard many years ago and would be interested in picking them back up, especially standard.)
