My goals are to compete nationally and locally for international standard style. Open to international competitions. I practice 2-3 hours for 2-3 days (flexible) and have about 1 private lesson per week (flexible, could be more near competitions), near San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain view, Stanford. I could do Latin silver level, but for fun or socials only and not thinking to compete in Latin.

I am just about to take Argentine dance lessons (January 2026). I hope to be able to have the opportunity to dance outside of classes.

I took both some basic salsa and West Coast swing dance lessons around 2010. Do not remember much from them but am willing to practice with someone who wants to have fun dancing but has patience. I am hoping to take again lessons in at least one of these styles sometime this year (2026).

If I am able to find a good dance connection, I am no open you other styles as well.

As I like and learn a style, I am willing to spend more time practicing.

I am open to establishing a connection even if circumstances mean we might not dance together for a while.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel wherever to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

I have taken private and group lessons from a multitude of dance studios and instructors over the years. Years ago I competed, mostly within the Arthur Murray system. I have performed several showcases. I prefer social dancing to doing routines.

I am generally a very good lead and am currently dancing somewhere at between an advanced bronze and silver level. I have pretty good technique and could compete if I wanted to.

My wife likes dancing with her dance instructor and I enjoy dancing with other amateurs. Although we both ballroom dance, we have found that we are happier when we do it separately. I am happily married and am only looking for a dance partner.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

Dancing is my passion, Latin & Rhythm are my favorites. I am currently taking private lessons in NYC and compete in Pro Am. I would love to dance 2-3 days per week, I would like to concentrate on the dances I love...Latin Rhythm and Swing, I have a little experience in West Coast Swing, I wouldn't mind learning more of this dance. I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater throughout my childhood. I went to theater school. In my mid twenties I started dancing salsa in the clubs in LA and was hooked. I was going dancing at least 3 times a week for a few years. I continued to dance salsa when I could in San Francisco and New York, but not as often. For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. My motivation during recovery from surgery was to dance again. I went to a Salsa festival in October and it was a blast. I am ready!

Dancing invigorates, impassions, and absorbs me. I can't get enough of it. I would practice everyday, all day long, but unfortunately I have to have an income. :)

Presently, I am focusing on Ballroom and West Coast Swing. I have taken WCS lessons with Danielle Blouin and Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay. I still love salsa and hustle though, and am open to A. Tango, but I can't just do A. Tango, I need variety.

Being an former gymnast and yoga teacher, I have quite a bit of flexibility and strength. I would enjoy doing aerial, lifts, and dips. Just after our "At the Hop" performance in Gulfport, FL. A regular in the audience mistook me for an 18 year old. LOL I have fun! I love to perform, but don't have to compete (theater arts is appropriate). I like the hard stuff.

On the personal side, I am a vegetarian and am into healthy eating and healthy living. I also love music, art, architecture, theater, swimming, walks on the beach, and out in nature.

Dance is a beautiful art Form that I wish to be able to share with my partner and the world by performing exquisitely.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel.
