I am just a beginner that wants to improve my skills in dances I find interesting

Processing a recent loss, taking life one step at a time, not quite back to dating yet, although will soon.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally. I like attending dances at least twice per month, and sometimes life gets in the way of more ... lol ... sometimes.

Regarding the 1 hour of practice four per week listed on my profile, that is at least 2 group lessons, 1 private, and 1 practice at a minimum. I've competed and performed, open to such again, and open to taking lessons together, yet flexible on all of those.

Enjoy being affectionate, conversational, and playful, while good with both staying in or going out. Like spending time with family, cooking, growing a relationship, my business, and flowers and veggies too. With the latter, I could use a better green thumb. ; )

Will travel a distance to date. Good with vacations inside my region and beyond, there are many places that could be exciting to see. Also enjoy painting, reading, writing, and interested in sharing cultures, cuisines, films, museums, music, and theater.

I'm gentlemanly confident, cultured, down to earth, emotionally knowledgeable, a good listener, passionate, reliable, sincere, supportive, and truthful. Interested in a wonderful partnership, finding the love of my life, full of friendship, healthy interaction, and having fun!

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

Have done competitions qualified for Blackpool 2015, ballroom and Latin in the men's over 50s, Bronze. Medal.done advanced gold routines, willing to change schools and travel up to 15/25 miles

Just a man looking to dance and have a good time.I am excellent at breaking down steps and working to improve dancers,adding that extra touch to stand out on the dance floor. Gold and gold bar teacher at major studio in southern California.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Know most of the standard dances that are taught at ballrooms, but not a strict 'Pattern' dancer. I'm an inventor by trade and carry that mentality to other things as well… which includes dancing. Been called an 'Intuitive' dancer, but being in tune with my partner is more how I see it. My general belief is a good lead does not need to push a lady through things, but guides. A little exception is some gals that have some physical issues, and I need to fill in the gap where needed. This happens most when I take cruises as Gentleman Host. When they feel like they've just danced as well as they did at an earlier time, it’s tremendously rewarding for me.

This has been a year of many changes. Mostly good. My goal going forward is to have a good dance partner sometime in the New Year.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

I began ballroom dancing in 2003 and have been passionate about it ever since. I've been coached by many top professionals over these years, both locally and around the country. Most of my experience is in Standard, followed by Smooth; continuing training and competing in one or both of these styles is my current primary goal. I am open to training in Latin as well but I am not interested in Rhythm at the moment. In addition to ballroom, I’ve also studied ballet, modern, contact improvisation, and kinesiology. I have an interest in performance and choreography; I've performed in numerous shows with nine different studios, in two professionally directed productions, and at the Chicago Salsa Congress. I was the open amateur standard champion at many local competitions including the Windy City Open in 2014. (Most of my competition experience is as an amateur, but I am also potentially interested in competing professionally if I found the right partner.)

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I grew up dancing tap, jazz and ballet when i was little. Dance team and color guard in high school. Ive always loved to dance and decided to get back i to it just 2 years ago.

I’m a salsero to the bloody core and it’s DEEEEP, I am looking for to grow my overall movement and partner work connection in ny and on 1 style even casino. I love all the forms off salsa.

I have been trying to become a well-rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good, dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

Reliable, easy going, enthusiastic dancer

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

Ample competition experience at WDSF level both latin and standard

Started ballroom private lessons in 2016, reached Bronze level quickly but actively seeking more practice. Love all types of dance, know just enough to be dangerous! LOL No games or drama, I'm self-employed so I have a somewhat flexible schedule. I love group dance socials and the music makes me happy!
