I have been dancing for over 30 years. I currently teach beginner to intermediate level group and private lessons. I love to teach and have a nice following of students. I love dancing and want to further my dance skills. I currently take private lessons to improve my technique and do very well dancing with advanced level instructors. I would like to take lessons, dance socially and occasionally perform with a skilled dance partner.

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba. Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

Hi, I'm 59 years old, approximately 5 ft 3. I like to keep fit, love Yoga and dancing. I would like to meet a male dancer for mainly Ballroom and Latin social dancing and lessons. I've been dancing for approximately 6 years. I love Ballroom and Latin but I also go to Ceroc and modern jive events for a workout ??. I enjoy learning new steps and always like to be the best that I can, but ultimately dancing must be fun. I live not far from Cambridge and Bury st Edmunds. I am currently at a beginner bronze level in the Arthur Murray syllabus in American smooth and rhythm. I have competed at several Arthur Murray events including two dance o ramas. I am interested in continuing the American styles along with learning international as well. I would also like to expand my skills to west coast swing, argentine tango, and zouk. I am seeking a partner who would like to compete.

A good old social dancer that has been around for a while.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

I think I would describe myself as a happy go lucky person with no particular hang ups. I have a part time job that I love to do as it's very social. It is involved with tea dancers and through this I have discovered a new passion and hobby for dancing. Have done Ballroom, Latin and Sequence for about 3yrs including a few private lessons in Ballroom and Latin, plus had loads of help from an excellent lady dancer/friend who really took time out to help me with the technical side of heel turns, double reverse spins, and other more advanced moves. Also had a go at Ceroc and Rock n Roll and like them all to be honest. Tango, salsa and west coast swing all look really great so am open to trying any kind of dance really. It would be nice to meet someone to share this passion with, rather than looking for romance at this moment in time, although you never can rule that out when meeting different people. I'm told I'm a quick learner and a natural dancer and wouldn't mind someone who could help me improve my dancing and take me to a better level but it's not the most important thing. Have spent most of my life working in the music business and retired from that in 2008 so my tastes in music are wide and varied, from easy listening, blues, soul and rock. Love watching live bands.

I enjoy dancing Ballroom and Latin but miss that special partner to forward the exciting experience and passion together on and off the dance floor. Been dancing French Jive for several years but I now want to start relearning some those forgotten Ballroom and Latin steps. Confident and comfortable at most dance styles.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

I am a beginner looking to learn a range of dance styles - ballroom and Latin - and have fun learning.

I am happily married - but my wife isn’t interested in dancing, hence the search for a dance partner.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Rhythm Skater turned Salsero/Bachatero. After a decade of skating, I have found my true passion on the dance floor. I have been learning Salsa and Bachata for 4 months through socials and private lessons, and I practice at home 1 to 2 hours 4 to 5 days a week. Even though I am a beginner, I am motivated to train in hopes to dance Salsa at a competitive level. I am also open to become proficient in other dance styles like East and West coast swing, and Waltz.
