Enjoy ballroom both American and International. Favorite dances are foxtrot, rumba, bolero, cha cha, tango, Viennese waltz, quickstep, country 2-step, hustle, salsa & bachata.

I like to travel and also enjoy swimming and boating, skiing, art galleries and watching football games.

I enjoy a lot of activities - but dancing is the best.

I started dancing in 2022 and progressed quickly into teaching and then professional dancing. I’ve competed and been a finalist in multiple rising star standard competitions. I teach and live in Long Island, New York under Fred Astaire Manhasset. I have completed all NDCA Bronze level teaching examinations and all Bronze and below FADS examinations.

Through some difficult and painful life lessons I am preparing to be better at life as a whole and I feel like a champion when I practice dancing(even though I haven't arrived at any medals, etc. yet). My desires are to learn to love all people, to get up after falling and hopefully learn from those experience(s) and finally to improve on the best I can be, while hopefully learning to listen to the genuine wisdom of others to blend with my own to build a better life.

To keep it short I have many interests and yes, I am willing to adapt to new ones within reason....except hard rock and heavy rap music. I am generally a quiet guy but in the right atmosphere can be quite lively and entertaining.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am learning not just to enjoy events, outings, just being quiet, fun times, etc..........but, the most important point is that I am learning to treasure each moment that I am with that special someone and not take time and life and her for granted. ...... .... There is a saying that I learned sometime ago: "The only moment that we have is the moment that we are in" so, "What existed a moment ago has gone" and "will we be here in a moment from now?" Have you ever heard of the song "Love is a wonderful thing" an upbeat song sung by Michael Bolton? Love can be a super wonderful thing!...unless things get messed up then, it's very painful until healing takes place and all is sorted out.....Just some deep thoughts I wanted to share and hopefully help you out. I take group classes and private lessons at the Fred Astaire dance studio in Frederick, MD. My focus is on the core 6 dances in closed competitions. I came in 3rd place in my first regional competition and am in progress training for my first international closed competition.

I have been dancing ballroom and latin on and off for about 20 years but did not have a regular partner until 2019 and our progress was interrupted by covid restrictions. Unfortunately a foot injury now means my partner can no longer dance. I would say I am a proficient social dancer in ballroom and latin. I have been dancing modern jive for about twenty years and I am very good at it but go regularly to the same venue so do not need a partner for this but am very willing to int0rduce a potential partner.

I loveto dance; and watch

all the old hollywood musicals, also love to sing, sinatra, broadway etc.

I do alot of sports in the summer, namely boating, skating, and cycling.

I attend many outdoor venues, to dance concerts, etc;

I love to travel, cookout, and attend some high level parties, when possible;

I want to meet someone, who is into all these things, plus the gym, and is a big kid like me, that loves to explore life, and new adventures

My profile states 3 years experience. THAT experience is continuous. I have been dancing off and on since the Saturday Night Fever days including a period of continuous dancing between the mid 80s and the mid 90s.

It took me a while to discover the greet function. Now that I know about greets, I've sent several greets to women who appear to be 'close enough' to events I can attend. I've used greets to avoid using tokens. Ladies, if you respond with some kind of greet that indicates possible interest, I'll happily use tokens to send you an email.

I'm searching for women who might be able to dance in Kingston or Pine Bush in Ulster county, at a number of places in Dutchess, Putnam, or northern Westchester e. g. Mount Kisco, or in Danbury. I picked those locations because I know of monthly mixed ballroom events there.

I am a social dancer trying to improve.

I'm VERY confident leading rumba, east coast swing, hustle, and American tango.

I probably don't bore my followers dancing American waltz, fox trot, west coast swing, and cha-cha.

I'm 'working on' samba, salsa, merengue, and bachata.

I would like to learn Viennese waltz.

I admire people who dance Argentine tango and Paso Doble.

I started dancing a few years ago it's become a big part of my life. My favorite dances are the bachata and Foxtrot.

Just a man looking to dance and have a good time.I am excellent at breaking down steps and working to improve dancers,adding that extra touch to stand out on the dance floor. Gold and gold bar teacher at major studio in southern California.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

Learning club salsa for fun.

Dancing is soul food for me. I started dancing regularly about 10 years ago. Have taken group and private lessons. I want to be an accomplished dancer but not interested in competing. I dance because I love it and it makes me feel alive in a very different way than my other activities (pickleball, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, skiing).

My favorite dances are Latin (salsa, kizomba, bachata) , country western two step , West Coast Swing, nightclub two step. Also do East Coast Swing. Previously did Argentine tango. Open to learning others.
