I started dancing Salsa with my oldest daughter 20+ years ago due to many overseas deployments. I continued Latin dancing and recently got into Ballroom.

I did ballroom dancing for a few years as a teenager and I got back into it for a while a couple summers ago. I'd love to find a partner to dance with on a regular basis recreationally. I'm not looking to compete or anything like that. We could take lessons together to brush up on skills. Though I'm sure we could also jump right into practicing ourselves. I remember some dance routines but it's been a while since I've practiced consistently.

I have been social dancing on and off for most of my life. I know some balloom, Argentine Tango ,and am pretty darn good at West coast swing. I would like to become a better dancer at Argentine Tango and West coast swing. I recently competed at a dance convention here in the Phoenix area.

I mainly dance for fitness and the pure enjoyment of it. I love music, theatre, dance and art in general,so, I'm always open to variations and adversity.

I've never had any formal lessons but women will ask me to dance and even to teach them couples style dancing. I prefer dancing to songs that I can sing along with, like motown, 70's, etc. Oh, short story, I do not do country bars. I can do a number of styles but tend to revert back to hustle. Also I will change styles within songs because many songs allow different styles. I'm a strong lead, but if you want someone who only does the proper step, that's not me. But if you want someone to kick it with on the dance floor, that's me.

Hardworking and competitive with the right partner, although I do not take things too seriously. I want to enjoy dancing, otherwise there is no point! I am my own hardest taskmaster

I have been dancing since childhood. I love to dance and wish I could dance more often. Although I am enrolled in ballroom dance classes/lessons, I need to practice to improve. Unfortunately my husband cannot be my partner because he is a non-dancer. I like to go out to social dancing. Since he does not dance, my husband has no objection if I go to dance halls with a dance partner.

I've been taking lessons, both private and group, for about 30 years. I love all American style dances. I've done some pro-am competition. I'd like to do more competitions, perhaps with another amateur. I enjoy doing showcases.

A hopeless outdoorsy romantic who unwittingly fell in love with Contra dancing 18yrs ago (still my favorite dance).

I also love 14 other ballroom & swing dances--& have been a dance class junkie the last 12yrs (mostly West Coast Swing). I usually take 1-2 group dance lessons 4 nites/wk--followed by 1-3hrs of social dancing. Plus one private lesson with champion instructor the last few months.

Also take lots of classes at 3-5 WCS conventions per yr, plus 5-7 Contra festivals, & one Country wkend. Dance wkends are usually my favorite times of the year. Almost forgot: it's great fun dancing to live music at Blues clubs & other venues 1-3x/month.

Other interests: bicycling (tandem, mtn, road, touring), hiking, traveling, musical & dance performances, movies, plus public TV/radio. Am a politically liberal Unitarian who is very respectful of the views of others.

I am mainly interested in an ARGENTINE TANGO partner, but have danced various international dance styles (International Standard and Latin/Ballroom, Jive, Salsa, Hustle/Swing) for about 15 years mainly in Switzerland on a social level. Meanwhile, I have arrived at Argentine Tango, which is now my main focus. I started five years ago, stopped again and am now dancing for about four years again.

I dance and practice two to six times a week Argentine Tango on an intermediate level. I am now looking for a partner because on this level, quite some practise is necessary to improve further. I would not mind trying with a beginner however, being well aware of the limited number of experienced dancers in the area.
