Love to dance, have been dancing on and off since I was 12. Taught round dancing an was a square dance caller in my 20's. Married my dance partner, then after a year or so, she decided she no longer wanted to dance. Divorced after 12 years. Married again 25 years ago, however, life again conspired that I would not dance, this wife was disabled for 18 years with chronic pain and congestive heart failure, She passed last November. Have 2 natural children and 6 by marrage, the youngest being 34. Looking to get back into dancing, have joined a local sq dance club and have been taking ballroom classes. I am actively looking to expand my list of friends.

I have been dancing competitively for nearly a decade. I am a 10-dancer (standard and Latin) on championship level. I strive to constantly improve to become the best dancer I can be. I train on average 5 days a week. I have good technical knowledge and ability and I'm a great performer. Some of my strengths as a dancers are my power, speed, rhythm and musicality and my ability to show expression and personality on the floor.

I am a single woman with no children. Haven't dated in a while, and haven't had a dance partner for two plus years. I have had some instruction and a good bit of practice, but have been out of the loop for a couple of years. I'd like to have some things in common with my partner, and would like to spend several hours a week dancing, with the goal of getting my endurance back and just having a great time in general... It has been my experience that dance partners who click tend to generate good chemistry. I can't see myself with a life partner who doesn't love to dance.

I was a competitive gymnast who has gotten into cabaret and theater arts. I'm pretty fearless and usually have trouble with partners being able to keep up with me. Fitness has always been a part of my life and I currently choreograph competitive gymnastic routines. Currently competing in cabaret and looking for someone to keep up.

I used to compete at the gold level ten years ago, and I honestly want to get back into it without going the pro-am route. I competed mostly in International Standard and American Smooth, with a preference for Standard. I'd love to train a few times a week with the ultimate goal to get back into competition, starting very small and eventually possibly working up to the larger competitions, but my goals are realistic and I have no set timeline as to when to achieve these.

I am a passionate man regarding life in general but I have two passions I pursue as interests. One is dancing and the other is photography. Both are conducive to keeping in good physical condition and also help to keep me young at heart. I have concentrated on being a very good lead in dance while keeping the dancing fun. The photography gets me out hiking in nature and seeing the world through the eye of my camera. I started dancing 13 years ago after my marriage ended. I had always wanted to dance but never did. I didn't want to sit at home and mope or live a life of bitterness so when I saw some dancers out having a wonderful time, I decided this is what I wanted to do. I do have some dance teaching experience as a sub for instructor friends. I am now semi retired and am wanting to pursue my dream of photography and possibly teach private dance lessons.

I started taking ballroom lessons on a cruise in Sept 2007. I fell in love with it, I haven't been in classes since December, and am looking for a partner to dance with, any day and any time. I just want to dance and get better.

I've taken a Beginning Ballroom class for 1 semester as well as 3 full semesters of Argentine Tango (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced - with Chelsea Eng) at City College of San Francisco in 2014-2015. Since then I've been practicing at practicas, attending milongas and partaking in any class I can. My ultimate goal would be to compete, perform and teach.
