I used to be a dance instructor for Arthur Murray’s 45 years ago. I didn’t do much dancing during the intervening years, but started dancing again two years ago after I became widowed. Before the Coronavirus hit, I was dancing 3-4 times a week, at classes and dance events. I do East Coast & West Coast swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha, Nightclub and a little Rhumba and Samba.

Being competitive is a long term goal that will require time and patience. Last competition was La Classique 2011. Competed Pro/Am, first in all events. Returned to training with Anton Lebedev / Anna Borshch May 2019. Will be competing in open gold Standard Toronto Open April 2020.

I'm a Bronze level competitive Am style dancer. I am comfortable in both styles, and wouldn't be opposed to learn International.

I used to dance for Claremont College Ballroom Dance Company for 5 years. I competed in International Latin and Standard open level, Smooth and intermediate social dances in collegiate comps. Done theater arts and I'm an acrobat, H2H, standing acro and L basing, aerialist in duo silks, straps and a fire dancer. I practice at least 2 hours daily and I workout every day. I'm interested in competing at NDCA comps. locally to start, finding a dance partner willing to get lessons and open to perform in different events.

I dance for exercise, pleasure and self-expression. Missing it during lockdown.

I've been mix ballroom and social dancing for over 20 years and can't live without it. My goals is to continue to improve, train and eventually compete. I've accomplished an associates in Bronze American Style and studying for the Bronze International Style. I lead and follow many social dances and sometimes teach intermediate Salsa.

Currently preparing for the Ohio Star Ball, plan on competing in Open Bronze and possibly Silver Closed. Rumba, Swing, Mambo, Bolero and Cha Cha is my primary focus. Have been Salsa dancing for 3+ years and enjoy Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba dancing as well.

Dance background includes contemporary, jazz and hip hop. Currently I work as a ballroom dance instructor and training to compete professionally.

My dance lessons/practice have been intermittent over the years due to injuries, studios closing, finances. But I'm ready to get back to it! Can you help me get back into the fun?!

My favorites are Waltz and Cha Cha. Also (re)learning Two Step, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Swing, Foxtrot, Progressive Double Two, Hustle, and some others I forget... I've taken all kinds of lessons for years now, but I need a regular partner who is a little above my skill level, will be patient with me, and who "feels" right. Has the rhythm *got* you?

Love salsa, bachata, Argentine tango, and looking for a partner to practice and improve with. I love going to social dances, but feeling my skills stagnating at intermediate level, and want to learn more. I have space at my apartment for practice, and am willing to try new studios. I live in the SDSU area.

I eat, drink and sleep dance, and this means I don’t want to spend £200 on a Saturday night and not be able to remember a thing. I don’t want to sit in a darkened room and watch some Hollywood rubbish. I want to stand up and move. I want to spend a fiver, sweat my brains out knocking out a wicked Jive or Quickstep and achieve something. I dance all ten dances, Salsa and Argentine too, but the last two are like playing draughts when the ballroom I do makes me a Chess Grandmaster. I want to enjoy my dancing and being with the girl I am dancing with. If she is at the right height and level we can compete. If she is a beginner I will teach.

Danced, competed and performed in college and a few years after. Starting back into it in 2010. Just did a waltz performance on stage in Los Angeles.

I dance because I love to move and express myself. Dancing is spiritual for me. It connects me to a sense of oneness with my partner and the world. I have taken different classes for around 9 years. I have performed with 3 different partners. I love the connection that dance brings to my consciousness. I see dance as a sacred sharing of time and space moving together to create a wonderful, and magical peace. It is a soulful thing for me.

I work freelance on / off in advertising, organising photographic shoots. Every job is different, often interesting, occasionally challenging. That's the part I love. Give me a challenge and I'm happy. And that's what I also love about my new love - Ceroc, the challenge to want to be better. I've only done about fourteen beginners classes, two hours private tuition, and one workshop.

I love life, and want every day to be a new experience or an old one that I still enjoy, like dancing.

My family is a fair size, 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 3 siblings, nieces and nephews. I am an animal lover and I live on a farm with many.

I have worked in different professions through out my life from manual labour to office management, so I have experienced a lot in life with that alone. I returned to college and graduated with honours in 2010.
